Completely agree with that Andi..which, in a way, is why I disagree with the WS thread/section to a certain degree. While many gamblers are well grounded and realize that the WS are mere "highlights" of gaming sessions...there are those who see a screenie, and right away think a certain slot or casino is hot...and rush right over and chase wins. Which, IMO, is really unhealthy.

If you can look at them for what they are, ie. pretty pics and nothing more, then all is fine. If they entice you to gamble when you otherwise wouldn't, I think that's a problem. It's a really fine line.

I agree with the poster that mentioned betting low if you want lots of chances and want to minimize losses.

But I can tell you that its easy to drop tens of thousands of dollars betting too low only to never win anything substantial. Think about it. You bet 27cents and hit one of the biggest spins I've ever seen any video slot offer and it's just $1000+ on 27cents. Can't do much with that. It's amazing dont get me wrong.

But I'd rather hit it betting 10cents to 25cents a line so if I ever hit it.. it's $5000 to $10,000 win. The one big spin I had in last 4yrs was on Mad Hatters -- 5 wilds in the bonus round which paid me 4700x my total bet. $2 bet turned into $5400ish.

Not Martingale, but pattern observation. It is possible to predict with some accuracy when many of these games will hit, and also predict from different pattern variations how BIG the hit will be.

This game started out giving "big hit" indicators, and I dropped the stake from £5 to £2, and got EXACTLY what I predicted on the very next feature game (see screenshot).

I wonder how long it will take for MGS to remove THIS game, as they have the other one I kept hitting on, Treasure Ireland The Hippo one is also pretty good, but less predictable. They will probably remove both at the same time though, and put on some that are more random.

I have noticed this, but WHY are they not back at ALL MGS if they were TELLING THE TRUTH about the reason for their TEMPORARY removal, which was that they didn't track balance properly when played in a tabbed environment. If they are back at some casinos, it follows that the bug has been fixed, therefore there is NO REASON for them not to return to ALL casinos that had them to start with.

The casinos that I play that STILL have them missing are:-

32Red
Jackpot Factory (all of their casinos)
Red Flush
Canbet
King Neptunes

They HAVE returned at Grand Mondial and Platinum Play. They briefly vanished at Colosseum and Vegas Poker, then they came back at only one.

It seems that there is ANOTHER reason for their removal, so they are STILL not being put back, even though they have been fixed.
The decision must be at operator level, since some have put them back, and others have not.

32Red have a pretty clear motive for NOT wanting them back after my glorious 52K hit on what was NOT a random machine, which must have them scratching their heads in disbelief, as I was scratching MINE in disbelief once it hit big AGAIN after paying the expected full whack of 15K for the usual "big hit" pattern.

They ARE all available in Flash though, but they seem a little different there, and I have NEVER had a big hit from a Flash version, just "normal" hits.

It could be that I have not played Flash versions for long enough, BUT maybe they tweaked them before putting them back, and then tweaked ALL of them to tone down these big hits because they realised something wasn't right with the ones they had in Viper last year before they were removed.

I was told the problem was only with the OLD ones, yet the OLDEST OF THE LOT, Pub Fruity, was NOT removed for attention, yet would surely suffer the same issue.

The amount wagered is Player Specific.
i.e. Only YOU can win back the money YOU put in.

This is easy to see if you play these games for a while.
For instance, I've been playing Cops & Robbers for a Ladbrokes promo the last few days. When I started it only let me go to the first row of features before making me lose, but now I'm getting to the top row every time I play it - even if I leave it for a week it will still remember & offer me the better features until eventually I get the top prize.
