Can anyone out there using windows 8 tell me how to find paint after you take a screenshot?

And when you do find it do you jst paste and save as?

I have windoes 8 now and honestly, I dont see what the aim of this platform was. I have known 2 persons so far who has uninstalled
windows 8 and installed Windows 7. I am thinking of doing same

Thanks if any resonds

Same as before. I must admit I was a bit pissed with W8 when I first got it, as it's designed for touchpads and follows the Android format. All you do is use the 'snip' function, save your capture which by default will be a jpg file.
Then, using your search function (assuming you prefer like most to stay in desktop mode) search your computer for 'paint'.
You will see in the list this shortcut:
Capturepaint.PNG

Send this to desktop (create shortcut) and also do this for 'snip' if you haven't already. If you haven't search your compter for snip and do that first.

Capturesnip.PNG

I have added these 2 to my bottom toolbar so thay are accessible without minimizing the screen to access the desktop icons.

So, snip the area of screen you want to keep (snip is useful because you can edge out the casino name/balance/usernames etc.) and then simply save the capture jpg as say 'winning shot'.
Open paint, open this file and edit it then re-save.

Exactly the same as win7.

Thanks Dunover. I will give it a try If it does not work I will send a pm
first I have to download snip

Snip will be there already. Open quickstarter, select 'my computer' and search for snip. When you get it up, send it to desktop or toolbar.

In fact you don't even need to do that. Open quickstarter, and in the box at bottom 'search programmes and files' enter snip. 'Snipping tool' should appear on your list. Send it to desktop/toolbar.

PS. you can thank me with the 'thanks' button at the bottom of my post...
