Hey everyone,

We have recently been scammed by an affiliate. Wayne Jackson is his name and his url is Link Removed ( Old/Invalid) . Everybody STAY AWAY from this guy! He initially sent us an email in on Feb 1, 2009 and asked if we would like to speak to him about promotions, so I added him to msn and away we went. Below is his actual proposal:

For monthly fee of $XXX per month, we will place a gurantee that you will receive anywhere from 40+ depositing players or full refund issued.
Positon (1) Comes with banners on every page, Inclusion to our database of 9000+ registered readers from our News Letter
and over 1000 regsitered community forum members that are currently active and depositing players.

For a one time offer we are prepaird to offer you 2 months for the price of one as a test run if you wanted this option as well.

We came to an agreement and I foolishly sent him prepayment for his services. After a couple of months of zero results, I contacted him and asked for our money back. He said that he would pay us back, but now its June and he still hasnt paid us. It seemed highly unlikely that we were going to get our money back, so we asked around and tried to find out more about this scammer and it turns out that he is known for running scams like this. Below is a snippet of a response from one of Waynes ex-employees,

he sets up media deals with casino's gets up front money, makes guarantees he will bring in xxx amount of depositing players or your money back, once the casino manager sends him the money he disappears, this is his MO and I don't deal with people of this nature. he also owed me alot of money and never paid me or other staff

We emailed him numerous times and he would take weeks to get back to us and it seemed like we were chasing a ghost at times. We are not making false accusations and we have all the supporting conversations and emails saved between the two of us. We just want to alert everybody of this scam artist and make sure that he doesnt ever scam anyone ever again! If anyone has any additional information or has been a victim to this scammer, please PM me or post about it.

Regards,

Jaxon

Like with everything, I strongly suggest before reaching any deals with anyone is to do your research. It is very critical due to the fact not only your losing money you are losing credibility as well. Please don't be so gullible to reach out to anyone who can get you players. I hope this time its a lesson learned.

At the very least, let this be a warning to all others...

<devils advocate>

Even I'm not a marketing or SEO expert, but as soon as I went to the site, thanks to Google's toolbar, I saw that it had a PR of 0...that, combined with an alexa rank of 3M+, 5 sites linking in, etc....well....

Indeed, do a little more research next time instead of seeing $ signs and jumping in head first. Did you even ask for proof of their track record with other advertising campaigns that would show that they were capable of providing 40+ signups per month?

Even so, I hope you get your money back, but I seriously doubt that you will.

To Jaxon....

The net is overflowing with info on Wayne/GamblingGod/Jumpstar. I understand you're eager to get on and make a good deal...but where was the due diligence? It wouldn't take too much searching to find his reputation is, shall we say, crap.

Honey, I got stories......

Under Construction!

All board info has been removed by jumpstarrs without my consent. I do not support any other sites that are using my name Playin4Keeps or P4K Gaming.

jumstarrs is not to be trusted in my opinion.

Check back from time to time for upsates about re-opening of Playin4Keeps.

What the OP is talking about ain't your mother's P4K. That was owned and operated by Christine. She employed Wayne after he'd opened and closed a few boards...another story altogether (Honey, lemme tell ya...). She took a powder/sabbatical, Wayne staged a coup.

There's stories upon stories. And it simply amazes me how many people he's able to fool, and for how long.

I guarantee no one is going to receive that so-called refund from him. And wouldn't be surprised if I, or anyone else posting receives a nasty email or pm from him for doing so.

Stay away from him! He's a big con artist/scammer!

Just like herpes, Wayne keeps coming back!

Unfortunately there is no treatment to halt the spread of Wayne.

(RIMSHOT) Thanks folks, we'll be here all week. Be sure to try the scampi!

WAYNE SPEAKS...He gives his side in what is at first a well-written and thoughtful response...and then suddenly everything just devolves.

I'll be the first to admit that I was gullible and naive in pursuing this deal with Wayne. Please do not let my shortcomings take away from the intent of the thread and that is to warn others of this potential Scam.

No worries--everyone I know that's been in this business has been burned at one point or another. It's almost a rite of passage. You learn from it and move on. No doubt you'll now know a bit more to look for when it comes to media buys. And you certainly did the right thing by making this public.

I get that the industry tends to be quite private, but if you ever have any questions or concerns, just drop me a PM--happy to help. :)

Agreement Reach

Hey all,

Jet Set Marketing and p4ks have reached an agreement in which the amount owing will be repaid within 3 months, with October 30, 2009 as the deadline.

I'd like to personally thank everyone that has supported us/me through this process; we/I really appreciate it. The thread has been closed for now at GPWA, but I will keep you all posted and have it reopened if need be.

Thanks,

Jaxon

it's gonna take him 3 months to pay back $495... ROTFLMAO

So Jaxon was your purpose in starting this thread to expose a scam artiest or to collect your $495.00?

The amount that is outstanding was never posted by me and in my original post I mentioned it as "$xxx". MY intention was to inform others of what had happened to me and Jet Set Marketing, not to get the money back.

Hi All,

Wished I'd see this thread earlier, sorry.

I've had numerous dealings with Mr Wayne Jackson that date back to 2001. All bad I may add.

In some instances he make the Virtual Casino Group look like Angels. This guy is BAD news!

For those that were around in the eZboard days you'll remembered Payin4Keeps (Christine). Wayne Jackson was a Mod over on the forum. In addition here is some other juicy bits of Wayne Jackson:

PS If he tries to pull a disappearing stunt again send me a PM I have his current contact details in New Zealand.

The thread has been closed for now at GPWA

I Hold private membership at the GPWA, I warned them about this guy. At the time not too many people believed me. So I'm greatful that you posted this to the GPWA Jaxon

Not that I've received any feedback as a result

But it proves that my concerns for the GPWA integrity were legit and not fuelled by a personal vendetta.

Hi all,

It seems that our friend Wayne didn't take too kindly to me adding his historical scallywag shenanigans to this thread. Because he decided to commence a thread over at the GPWA in an attempt to discredit me.

Nice try

I always believe that everyone is entitled to make a few stuff ups in life. If you learn from these errors then it's all good.

But if you continue to perform the same wrongs and maintain a course that is less that honourable and lacking integrity, you have no one else to blame but yourself when sh#t hits the fan.

If you choose to "live by the sword then expect to die by the sword".

In this context that means if you continue to run scams, lie and basically be dishonest, then expect your dishonesty to catch up with you and the people you have wronged to speak out against you.

This is exactly what has happen here.

So there is no misunderstandings on your part Wayne you do not scare me!

Your friend P4K (aka Christine) attempted to blackmail me in 2001 for a sum of money that was to be paid to have her retract lies about a white label casino I owned. That ended up in the hands of the Australian Federal Police.

Hence any attempts to intimidate; bully boy; or otherwise inflict any form of predatory action against me, will be met with a swift & harsh defence to the full extent of the law. Be this civil & or criminal justice.

Your again at that cross road Wayne.
To left is the road of scamming & continuing your scallywag shenanigans. However to the right is the High Road. One sometimes less travelled because it's a lot harder and it constitutes hard work.

But the High Road is lined with integrity, honesty and one of its rewards is you can sleep better at night!

Lose the victim rants & clean up your act.

Ironically most of the peeps who started in the industry when you did (around 2001) have built themselves some nice income and businesses by taking the High Road.

I sincerely hope that the ill gotten Jet Set Marketing deal will be the catalyst to finally help you see the light.

Cheers

How did I know this was going to be an interesting read! Greedy break out the vodka girl :) Swamp and many others can remember my very first modding job years back was with this clown! I sent him money for his house that burnt down, then again when his make believe sister died.. I could go on and on about how much hell this man put me through but I won't. He did teach me to be very careful and to not give my trust as free as I did way back then. Such a shame that webmasters like this are out there praying on unsuspecting operators! I hope he makes good on the promise to repay but given the history I doubt this will happen but hey Wayne feel free to prove me wrong dude!

I'm 100% flabbergasted

In a small window off time we've seen the latest (in a long string of) exploits of P4K Gaming concerning the Jet Set Marketing deal (cough scam) made public both here, GPWA and I believe other webmaster forums.

<derail>
Yet no more that two days later after my last post advising Wayne to clean up his act, we're confronted again with more dubious actions by P4K Gaming (aka Wayne Jackson).

This time (noted done before) he (P4K Gaming) has take the database from P4KS.com and dumped it over to GambleStop.com
https://www.casinomeister.com/forum...would-they-think-i-would-be-interested.32170/

Then sends an email out to all P4KS.com members stating "We are just writing to let you all know you have now been merged over to Jamies site that he is creating. Please use your P4K Login details."

The next day this email is sent "We are in no way connected to P4K Gaming and promotions on our site have nothing to do with P4K Gaming at all."

WTF :what:

By using the database from P4KS.com both sites are CONNECTED and as stated have MERGED!

Anyway this is just another example of how Wayne operates his day to day business ethics.
</derail>

If Bryan (CM) had not given Damian Dunlap the covenanted award of "The BIGGEST CLOWN on the internet" (2003 I believe), then hands down Wayne Jackson (aka P4K Gaming) would surely be the second in line for this award.

Cheers
