I got this email on the 4th.

Then I got this one today.

My point is this, why is it OK for my email/personnel details to just be given/sold without my permission. I don't know this Jamie and haven't been on the P4K website since the DolphsLady was the mod there. I don't blame 'Jamie' from trying to distance his/her website from the nuts at P4K but he/she got my details from them somehow. This is the same thing as a casino selling your info to spammers.

Or maybe Jamie had Mod rights to the members list.
And took all the contacts
that's if Annie joined the other place.(P4K)
    Jamie is cool.
Or it's like Rob said to get out of the hole for that debt that guy was in.

Do you know what the deal is over there? I saw that you volunteered to be a mod.

Who is this Jamie character? Is it the former owner (Wayne) in disguise?

Hey BB I don't think it's Wayne in disguise from things I have seen but this is the internet & many have split personallities & sit behind a keyboard & think they are perfect & try to be God or something.
I would volunteer any place to help anyone I can if they need help & I ask for nothing in return because that is me.but I say if you walk on me I will walk harder on you if you take me as a fool.

Yes Rob. Started out Playing4Keeps then went to P4K or something like that. I am sure he sold my info. and it really pisses me off. Wayne posted this big whine and cry on Sucks and GIA (I think is was). Now this crap. I am off to post about this on the other forums. Far as I am concerned, Jamie is a guilty as he is for buying info.

Did ya'll catch that in the second email there are 2 different sites named? I don't care if Jamie had Mod rights or not, I don't want my private info given or sold to just any Tom, Dick or Harry around.

    Any "Tom"
I would never buy a name list from anyone.
I know we will see Jamie here soon to give us his side of the story because people need to know what is going on with this.

As far as I know, Waynesie and Jaime are two different people. Wayne transferred the P4K member list to the new place. I doubt very much any moneys were exchanged.

Even so, the members of P4K signed up to be members of P4K...PERIOD. They didn't give permission for Wayne to sell OR give their memberships to anyone else or to any other forum. Not only is it a violation of trust, it gives this Jaime person a false cred for getting affiliate and media deals...after all, look at his giant member base. Like everyone, he needs to do his own work getting a membership base.

I'm still think it's fishy, although I'm not saying you are wrong. What about Jamie's ethics, buying a list or however he got it??

At the P4K site, Wayne describes Jaime as his "partner", and not business partner. I'm assuming he means "significant other". However, I would not be surprised if Jaime is in fact ALSO Wayne's business partner.

I may believe that Wayne is a scammer, a charlatan, and a tool...but I don't believe any money exchanged hands on this. It's my personal belief that this Jaime's site makes (or he hopes will make) money that benefits Wayne.

Bought, bartered, or wrapped in a box...ultimately it doesn't matter. Wayne had no right to assume his membership would be OK with being used to benefit a site they did not sign up for.

Trying to take shortcuts backfires most of the time. Like anything, sites take time to grow naturally. Creating accounts without permission .. yikes.

At the very least there needs to be an 'opt out' as members have just found themselves on another mailing list they did not authorize.

I suggest you read the terms prior to registering your account with us, If you will forward me your Username i can remove it from our database that is shared. In future please make sure you read all terms and condition of our site, Contests and Give Aways please.

Oh hello swampy, Yes your right Jamie is a different person than me. I suggest before people start flying off the handle, Moaning there backside off to checkout facts first. Email us This email is not visible to you. like we have always stated if you wish your account to be removed.

I wont be posting on here again, As i see no point. I do not normally come to this site, And I only did as this post was starting to knock someone that is not involved with my mess.

For those of you that have always slammed me, this is nothing new to me and I am use to it. Nor do i really care. End of story. you don't like me then stay the hell away from P4KGaming end of story!!!

    Why

Why should i be nice, Considering all the over dramatized crap that some of these people write. Who care's what my attidude is, I have every right to be pissed off if someone does have the audasity to read terms and condition prior to being a member, The goes our crying there ass off.

Like i have said about everything all along, If you dont have physical proof or facts then dont post about it. Now you fine people are slamming someone that does not have anything to do with P4K situation or other problems.

    Nice people you are,

I do not have a thing to lose anymore by posting other than waisting the time it takes to write this. P4K Gaming will stay around weather yous like it or not. We have still kept our sponsors regardless of the crap some of you write.

And swamp, Your just an over sized drama queen that has nothing better to do with your life. As always, You dis like me, I hate you. And i dont hate many people.

Get a life, Stop trying to be Oyster, You never were and never will be.

Most of your membership signed up under the old Playin4Keeps. Was that term on the original registration page? If so, then you may have a point. Just as we expect players to read the T&C's on bonuses, I guess it's time we all make sure we read the T&C's on the forums we join, beyond the cursory glance at the "no obscenity, no plagiarism" blah blah bits.

    Nope

That is where you are wrong again swamp,

Playing4keeps YUKU site does not permit anyone to take email addresses or stuff like that. If you had of researched a little more, you would have found the email we sent to all OLD Playin4keeps members via yuku that we were closing Christine site down because she abandoned it and were moving to our NEW one.

All members at P4K Gaming had to sign up from fresh.

So i guess this kills 2 comments made by you in previous months.

1.) Members signed up at will at our NEW site on there own accord.
2.) Check terms and conditions as you stated.

I am not arguing here, I am now beyond it all. Just be sure to get facts straight before you slander anyone, Like in previous thread about us owing Jet Set Money they had proof, AND i mean physical proof. that is why all parties came to a perfectly good agreement.

    regardless of your opinions

I don't know if passing on entire membership databases to start a new forum should be included. Regardless, when something like this is passed on it can cause trust issues. Will you be giving this away again? Can this new forum also pass email addys on? What are the t/c's of this new forum? Will your members find themselves members of a network of forums now?

I think a heads up to your membership and asking first would have gone a long way. Also to take a deep breathe here.

    I Agree

I agree with you Mojo, NO WE will not be doing this again,

As for Jamies site please check his terms and conditions. I have to much time dealing with my own site to be trying to make another. Regardless of what yous may think, Sponsors are staying and members are still coming.
