Royal Panda Leaving UK market

Not the biggest surprise to see this trend continue where many are leaving UK where operational costs are quite high and regulations actually need to be followed, then pay almost 20% taxes from GGR and wonder where's my profit.

It will shortly settle which operators remain there, maybe it comes easier for them after quite many competitors have gone.

Expect more operators to follow suit during 2020

Wheres all the usual suspects saying about how good it is about the player protection from the UKGC, how its got rid of all of the cowboy operators and the players are all better off.

The regulation/risk of fines and tax combo has made it logical negative to trade here for all but the larger operators and even then they are shaving all the cream from the player experience with awful bonuses and stupidly low rtps.

I said when the process began - this is what happens when you create a monopoly market place with lower competition and a few big players in the market, and so its come to pass.

This is bad news for everyone and yes it will continue to get worse.

Wait until the £2 maximum bet limit on slots gets put through. That will be the death of the UK as a market for online casinos.

I think several casinos are already anticipating that by allowing people to play multiple slots at once.

Wonder how long that can be ok for UKGC.... What a real entertainment to try follow 4 games at same time on autospins :D

Don't really find any reason why that exists, except it's nice for operators when player can lose to multiple games at once.... Does people really want to play multiple slots at once?

That's pretty much what will be happening but at least UK is highly regulated and safe market for players :)

Expenses to operate there are high, all can guess who after all is paying these higher costs, casinos happily make less profit or players with less bonuses, lower RTP:s etc...

Will the last online casino to leave the UK please shut the door behind them... :(

Well, the casinos show how a BREXIT is done for real! No letters for extensions or the like! 1578591265810.png

Seriously now, I heard from quite a few operators that they are considering closing shop because "it is not worth the hassle and trouble".

I guess loads of casinos shutting up shop will eventually get a message across to the ukgc, I wonder if they will have to raise their licence fees to make up for a shortfall in income, which seems to be close in size to their employee costs, strange that ....11 directors and 11 commissioners, no they're not milking it at all
