Roxy Palace software problems

I have been trying to get something done since about the middle of July. I have been playing at Roxy Palace for several months and the casino seemed pretty good. I actually walked away several times with more than I deposited. My problem is that while playing the Spring Break slot, at one point it took about 504 pulls before the bonus feature first activated. While I was playing, the server speed was sporatic, the game acted strangely, reels would stop and then move again during the same spin, etc. and in over 500 pulls the bonus feature never activated. I find it impossible to beleive that this could happen without there being either a software problem, a server problem, or manipulation of the game. Even if the payout percentage was set extremely low, the bonus feature would have still activated sooner. Microgaming has completely ignored my attempts to contact them, and ecogra refuses to even look into the matter. There is obviously some sort of problem, but nobody is willing to take responsibility for it. I was at one point told that since I have won at the casino before, that it doesnt matter if there is a problem. My position is that if the game was operating correctly, I could have had over 500 more chances to win. There is just no way that it could take over 500 pulls most of them at 4.50 to get a bonus round. After waiting for 2 weeks, I have as yet had no response from casinomeister either. This is nothing more than stealing from players, and something needs to be done to correct this. When games are not working correctly, the player shoudn't be the one who pays.

How do you know what is the odd for the bonus round to come out? They could have set it to come out 1 in 1000 or more. So you didn't see one in 500 spins doesn't mean a thing. It is a slot machine, not a card game like blackjack that the odds can be calculated. Previously you saw bonus round in under 500 spins was because you were lucky then! This time you weren't and lost, pure and simple!

So basically you are complaining because you did not get the outcome that you want in a slot machine. Do you even know what a slot machine is? Also do you know what gambling is? It means you don't always get to win.

I've seen exactly the same type of behavior, (lagging, etc) on other bonus games at MG casinos like Thunderstruck, Big Kahuna, Spring Break, etc. and it makes me suspect something isn't right as well. I can exit that casino, jump into a different one, play the same game and it spins just fine, no lag. Really doesn't make me feel too comfortable about the ones with the lag.

The bonus feature is a direct function of the payout percentage that the machine is set to. If the payout percentage is anywhere close to what is advertised, there is no way it would take 1000 pulls, let alone 500 for the bonus feature to activate. And yes, I do know all about the overall casino percentage and how not all machines are set the same. Even though they are not set the same, the percentages are pretty close to each other or otherwise the average percentage would not figure correctly. Since you have been wondering things, I also have some questions. Do you know what "if it doesn't concern you, mind your own business" means? Is your life so pathetic that all you have to do with your time is to post smart-assed remarks? Are you some sort of mindless moron? This forum is for posting experiences with online casinos, and gathering information about others experiences. It is not a place for jerkoffs like you to act like a childish idiot.

Sorry, didn't mean to come off as such a jerk. I just have no patience for people like this sw2003 person, who seems to get off on being a smartass.

I haven't seen any Casino gives out payout percentage on a game by game basis. Usually they group all the slot games together. So unless there is something special here, you don't know the payout percentage of this game so how can you say they have to give you a bonus in 500 spins?

Lots of people lose because they expect or insist that a red will come next after ten black's in roulette, or after a string of ten losses in blackjack they must win the next hand. So how is your case different from the examples that I have given. 500 spins is not a large enough sample size to say they cheat, no?

I didn't say they give out a payout percentage on a game by game basis. The overall percentage is given, which means that the total of all games must equal that percentage. This also means that in order to do that, no one game can be set so low that it would possibly take that many pulls to get a bonus round. The bonus rounds are figured into the games percentage. Do the math. Say you have 10 games and you advertise a 98% payout. Add together the percentages for all ten games and divide it by 10. Try any combinations you want. The lowest you can set one machine is to 80%. Even at 80% the bonus round would activate way before 500 spins. In reality, each machine is set pretty close to all of the others, and probably none are set lower than low 90s.

Even if your numbers are correct, it still doesn't work like that in real life. The bonus rounds that you didn't get but expected to will pop up when the next guy plays. He or she will probably get one in every 100 spins to make up for it. That is the luck of the draw unfortunately.

In my many (mostly unsuccessful) rounds of playing spring break, I've had many times where it has taken over 500 spins to get the bonus. Once it was over 800. But at the same time, there are many times when I will get the bonus several times very close to each other, or get the bonus within the bonus. That's just a slot machine...it's not possible to predict when the bonus will appear.

Sunny Group, and a couple of others too I think, do actually publish payout percentages on a per game basis. But they are limited to those games that are currently paying out over 100%.

The bonus rounds on a slot are just an ingenious device to keep us playing longer. The bonus round is not a requirement or a necessity of any machine to meet its payout percentage. If the bonus round didn't come up for a whole year... the casino and/or software could not be accused for wrongdoing as long as the posted payout percentage was met. I agree that it makes the game alot more interesting... but the manufacturers of the software could have left out the bonus feature completely... and still met their advertised payout percentages.

I have been making notes of how often I got the free spins on Thunderstruck and Spring Break, lots of plays at very low bets, about 100k spins. Seems they come about 1/100 spins, worst run I had was waiting a bit over 700 and best was getting 60 free spins in a row.

No free spins for 500 spins isn't all that rare, just bad luck.

What REALLY sucks is finally getting them after waiting lots of spins and then getting no wins at all.

I wonder what the chance for the 5 Thors in a row is, got ever other win but that one.

I hate when you get no wins for dozens and dozens of spins, then finally get the 3 or more rams and end up getting nothing in your free spin rounds. Arrgh!
