Roulette: Min / Max ; Inside / Outside ?

Can anyone help educate me as to what are some of the average minimum/maximum bets allowed for inside and outside bets at reputable online casinos? Also, and more importantly, what are the widest spreads you've seen for those same bets, again, at reputable casinos? (e.g. $1-500 inside bets; $5-5000 outside bets; at www.casinoexample.com)

One last question, do all roulette games have a maximum amount of money that they allow on the table at once? (e.g. I want to put $250 on 6 numbers, so my total amount wagered is $1500 but they have a $1,000 table limit.) Is this typical?

I've looked at many sites but am having a hard time getting this information without signing up for an account.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

Promise me first you aren't planning on a "progression experiment" - doubling up after losses...

We had a go at this to some initial success (as to be expected) a while ago! Great fun, as long as you realise you're not "beating the system"!

Roulette is only fun for me when there's a few of us, and a few beers!

To be honest, it is related to a progression system. However, I do understand its limitations and the fact that no system works in the long term.

How about Link Removed ( Old/Invalid) :-
$1 minimum bet (can be spread out on the table - i.e. 5 $1 bets)
$5 minimum outside bet
$1,500 maximum inside bet
$7,500 maximum outside bet

But I agree with Caruso - don't do it! :eek2:

You were doing great until the last four words.

Since I called the first bit right:) I'll try for one more: you figure that although they don't work in the "long term" you can beat them in the "short term", right?

Wrong; long term or short, there is no difference in terms of expecation / winnability or whatever.

Forget about betting systems.

Thank you, KasinoKing. Is William Hills a trusted name? Is there a table maximum, like, no more than $7500 in play total on the table? Because if I wanted to bet on 6 inside numbers at the max of 1500, that would be $9000, and would surpass the table max in the example.

Also, can one find out this kind of info on max bets without joining a casino? I'm having trouble finding the information on the various casino websites. Also, do most casino's "free practice" games generally have the same rules/pay/maxes as their "For Money" games?

Wrong, I don't think I can beat them in the short term either.

I'm aiming squarely for the "middleish term". :)

You'll definately get your $ from WH, but if you have a support issue, totally forget about trying to contact support. I think they have the worst CS around (or close to it). Just search for "william hill" on here, and you'll find a few threads relating to it. I for one went WEEKS without a response to multiple emails, only to get an answer that was very vague, then another week or two before my issue was finally resolved.

Don't think that practice mode will give you the same results as real play. Most sites are fixed to give you more wins via practice mode.

I really don't think that's true... Certainly with MG! I think it was 32RED (don't quote me on that!) that cited this was one of the major reasons they picked MG, as Free Play ran identical to paid play.

In my experience this is true too... Ive tried a number of autoplay experiments, with me busting out on freeplay, just as quick as I would with real money :D

Thank you; that's the issue that I'm the most concerned about overall. Because it won't matter how much you win when you can't collect. Would it be true that the bigger and more famous the casino, the more likely they are to pay out? If so, what are some of the biggest casinos out there? Just a newbie talking here, but from what I've seen I would trust Virgin Casino only because they're part of a huge global empire and not 3 guys in an rented apartment somewhere. Are there more global or at least large/famous companies that have an internet casino?

That's why I didn't say "all"

humannn, if you want the best of the best, play at 32red. Sorry to sound redundant, but for prompt payouts and excellent CS, you'll have to look hard to find any better.

I've been doing a bit more looking around for you, and you're right - it's hard to find the info you want without joining the casinos. I'm also surprised how low most places max bets are. :eek2:
So it looks like my first guess was the best one.
You will 100% definitely get paid by Will Hills - and very quickly too!

You could always call or e-mail customer services to find out. This will also give you an idea about the standard of customer service you will receive. William Hill is solid and will pay quickly, but the CS is not helpful.

Victor Chandler allows a £125,000 table spread with £250 straight up max and £25 straight up min, and up to £5,000 outside bet on the top table.

low table allows a £2,500 spread with a £0.10 minimum.

Just noticed you're from Lisbon so Euros may be have different amounts.

Play for fun is different.
