So I'm just going to reply to that as obviously you are reading this thread and some is aimed at me.
You know why casinos got multi million £ fines for advertising failures a few years ago? Because some affiliates decided they didn't have to put Terms and Conditions. You know why Sky closed the majority of affiliatehub down? Because some affiliates decided they didn't have to put Terms and Conditions. You know why 365 got rid of a load of affiliates? Because some affiliates decided they didn't have to put Terms and Conditions.
See the pattern there? That affected all affiliates, not just in lost income, but because the affiliate managers started shitting themselves and came down mega hard on all sites, including ones that were actually following the rules, forcing them to make changes that weren't needed, more work, and, in some cases, closing accounts if it wasn't done in 24 hours.
These changes were widely publicised before 1st October. Chipmonkz for example did a video about them, so can't claim not to know what was going on. ALL affiliates, especially those who stream, should be on top of this type of thing.
If any affiliate announces that he/she is just going to ignore the regulations because he is too lazy to read a document, or because he is too thick to understand it, or because he thinks he is so important to the casino he won't actually have to follow the same rules as everyone else, then yes, he is a fucking arsehole and/or an idiot. Firstly because he is risking his income, as the document makes it extremely clear, the casino is expected to terminate the relationship for a first time breach by an affiliate. Secondly, because that type of behaviour is exactly what leads to the affiliate programs closing and/or casinos pulling out the UK. That negatively affects every affiliate in the UK, including you.
Thats before you even take into account Nick was calling people on here trolls and saying that everyone was wrong. So it's ok for him to call CM members names, but not the other way round. Ok, that seems fair.
And for the record, you and streamers are not my competition, I have no interest in bringing anyone down, around 95% of my income is from sports so I really couldn't care less if theres a million casino streamers, it won't affect me one iota. If I did want to do that, I would have emailed both
Rizk and Gracemedia pointing out the part about terminating the affiliate agreement (which I didn't). What will affect me is if a licensee I get rev share from, suddenly pulls out the UK, or pulls the affiliate program. Thats what I don't want to see. So yes, I will keep calling out affiliates who make major breaches like this.
