Lol. No surprises here.

Can I remind the casino operators here as well on this as the posts seem to not fully cover the legislation.

As a minimum, the casino MUST verify Names, Date of Birth and registered address of a player. That can normally be done electronically but if not then docs must be requested before accepting a deposit.

Secondly, the casino MUST state categorically if there is anything they require prior to depositing which may delay any withdrawal, i.e. further docs or proof of bank account/card.

So, what's the Rizk excuse here?

It was the holy month of Malta.
They where busy drinking beer, smoking cigarettes and eating donuts.
Don’t fret, sure the rep will spring into action like a coiled spring soon.

So you have already deposited yes? Get them reported to the UKGC. Absolute shambles.

Which rep did you PM? Might help to tag them in here, when did you PM them?

Maybe @Sebastian - Rizk can comment on why Rizk seem to think UKGC regulations don't apply to them until when they feel like it (going from customer services response)?

Typical GIG responses though, they have no idea what they are doing and their data policy is a complete joke, seeings posts like this doesn't surprise me at all.

what an absolute joke of a company these are

The regulations came in on the 7th May. Rizk are in breach of them, and cannot say otherwise considering 2 different CS reps have said the same thing.

They were still charging for card deposits in the UK after they were made unlawful too, claiming they didn't know anything about the new rules. Maybe they should employ a new head of legal who doesn't leak customer data and actually has a clue what he's doing to avoid situations like this.

In my opinion there's no excuse for KYC checks not being all electronically done in this day and age. There should be no need whatsoever for physical uploads, except for certain instances where age etc can not be verified. It would save a hell of a lot of faffing about for the end user.

At many UK sites they'll electronically verify you on sign up and you'll get a 'account verified' notification.

It's like card withdrawals. They should be processed and in your account same day. It's 2019 and yet we're still relying on an antiquated BACS refund method.
I've said this before, but we already have this in Sweden. Since 1st of January, you can only log into gambling sites using electronic ID, and the verification process has been completely abolished ever since.

Wonder if its time for the higher up peeps to have a relook at the accreditation, can you provide screen shots of the live chat? As this is a breach, and also against the UKGC rules. They could and should be fined.

Yes, Ive got the chat transcripts.
This new ruling by the UKGC is not being administered here by the looks of it, as I stated I was auto verified and allowed to deposit.
I requested a withdrawal and was told I needed to verify as you can see in the previous posts.

In that case you weren't properly "auto-verified" and shouldn't have been able to deposit if they are now asking for the identity docs for a withdrawal.

So, that's Rizk, K8 Bet and 4 others so far that I am aware of who have decided that rules don't apply to them. The stupidity of it is that they have essentially given players licence to lose anything at all in the knowledge that they can pull the breach up and get their deposits back. Suicidal stuff.

And if Rizk aren't compliant then you can pretty much guarantee Guts won't be, and most likely the other sites under the GIG/MTST license.

Dont exactly know what path to go down here.
You can see from all the previous posts what the situation is.
If the rep is not wiiling to give some input is there another rep on here who can supply some logic?

What is the outcome you are expecting? I'm not entirely sure what you are expecting to happen.
Me, I would report them to the UKGC and hope they get a fine.

Just re-read the chat transcript

Matilda (16:25:06): We do not need documents when players deposit as the funds are coming to us, however when we sent funds out we want to know that the owner of the same account that was used to deposit gets them

Ignoring the fact she is completely wrong, surely that would be confirmed by it going back to the same card/account the deposit was from?
So GIG are happy to take take take but when its time to give, its a big F U

One of 4 possible scenarios here.

1. Their staff are not properly trained in the UK rule changes
2. They have grossly misunderstood the rules
3. They are just delaying the withdrawal
4. They just don't give a fuck
