In light of the current confusion and inconsistency in online gaming legislation worldwide, the owners of The Ritz Club London Online have, regretfully, decided to close the site to new customers with immediate effect.

Sheesh!! Talk about throwing the baby out with the bathwater. :what:

Weird.

Wasn't there a thread elsewhere that indicated that Ritz Club was changing software providers? Perhaps this is just a coincidence?

closed only to new customers? i think i made an account there before realizing that only cc deposits are allowed. what happens now? can i play if i can manage to fund my account? or am i not a customer having not yet played? i can log into the casino. not about to play anytime soon i reckon...

I agree it is sad to say goodbye to one of the few Crypto casino. For the diversty and competition between the software providers it is a also a sad loss for the players indirectly. Unfortunately I was never able to play there since they did not accept danish players and I could not convince them otherwise.

INetBet also does not accept danish players but here I was able to charm my way into making the CS create an account for me.

Dated Emily eh?

They didn't close they just don't accept new players correct?
That's what their web-page says.
But that's ALL it says - there is no information for existing customers!

They are reportedly switching to Playtech soon anyway :axeman: so we ARE still going to lose a great Crypto.

Ritz is back up and accepting new players. Still on Crypto but due to switch to Playtech:

You may have been aware of the recent press coverage, and the fact that we disabled our website for new customer acquisition for several days this week. I must apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused, and can confirm that the website is back live again.

I would like to reassure you that we will continue to offer the same level of service and quality of games, and will be going ahead with our planned migration to the Playtech software platform
