Not a regular poster here but I've been using online casinos since 2005, and the Microgaming Viper client was always leagues ahead of the rest for me, mainly for the excellent Video Poker and non-slots games selection (I'm not a slots player). Smooth, fast and efficient gameplay, good autoplay features etc. A good variety of progressive jackpot games that are not slots. The Viper client seemed much more robust and professional compared to the download Playtech and RTG equivalents.
I used to use Viper at 32red, Ladbrokes, Betway, Fortune Lounge group, Casino Rewards Group and probably others too.
My long-term regular casino 32red withdrew the download client early this summer, and the Casino Rewards group withdrew it for UK players just last week (as far as I'm aware, this was the last place that UK players could still use it) and they are due to withdraw it completely in due course.
Perhaps it's partly nostalgia, but I really do feel that online gaming is in a worse place than it was 15 years ago now that Viper has gone.
