I remember that ending! Obviously never knew the actress' name, being around 9 when watching it

However, that ending was pretty sad from recollection, quite un-Bond-like in its bluntness

Yeah it was very weird for a Bond film - i rewatched them all about 5 years ago (couldn't go on holiday so sat in my dressing gown, eating and drinking and watching TV for 2 weeks - yeah, it was pretty awesome: maybe due another one) and when that happened you're like, it's Bond, they didn't just, nah, they didn't, Oh. They did.
