His secretary from some time ago (they remained friends)was married to a very wealthy man. They got divorced and she needs the money. The ring he bought her is a 2.3 carat great quality diamond surrounded with rubies set in platinum. It was appraised at $30K retail (which we all know she wont get). She asked what a fair price for personal sale is and BBB told her $12-$14K..She is willing to let it go for $9-$11K
