Dear Mr. XXXX

Thank you for your e-mail.

Please be advised, we are experiencing delays in the withdrawal times due to the high volume of withdrawals at this time. You will receive your funds within 2 weeks from the date of withdrawal. Unfortunately, we do not have a precise time at which the withdrawal will clear.

Due to recent legislation and related events, US members will no longer be able to transfer funds to or from any online gambling site effective January 17th, 2007.

All other NETELLER services remain available to US members. They can continue to hold funds safely in their NETELLER accounts until such time as they decide to move the funds. The changes in gambling merchant transfers do not affect the ability of US member to maintain funds in their NETELLER e-wallet accounts.

NETELLER protects all members funds (all deposited, in-transit and un-cleared funds) by holding the value in independent trust accounts. NETELLER is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority in the UK.

NETELLER continues to allow US members to transfer funds to non-gambling merchants. Additionally, NETELLER offers a peer-to-peer transfer service that allows members to instantly send money to friends and family around the world.

US member NETELLER accounts will NOT be closed, your funds will continue to be held securely and you will always have full access to funds held by NETELLER.

Currently we are experiencing unprecedented volumes through our withdrawals department. Due to this volume there maybe delays of up to 2 weeks for an EFT withdrawal and 6-8 weeks for cheque withdrawal.

If you have any further questions, please visit Outdated URL (Invalid).

Thank you for choosing NETELLER.

The casinos could still pay us Neteller then if they did a peer to peer deal......
I thought NT was closing for US citizens???
Now I'm confused~~~

Nah, Neteller is still open to the USA as long as you don't use it for gambling

Peer to Peer wouldn't work. They know it's a casino account sending the money. With the volume of transactions, there's no way they could pass it off as non-gambling funds.

Judging from my experience, this may be a big steaming load.

I made a withdrawal immediately following the arrests (around 1 AM Tuesday morning), which was accepted on Wednesday afternoon. This morning, it was switched to declined. It wasn't declined on my bank's end; their ACH department has no record of anyone even attempting to make a transfer. NT VIP support says they don't know why it was declined...

Neteller

I also got that exact email . Here's the problem the way I see it . I personally know over 200 people who have been waiting to be paid and I'm sure there are thousands more.
Out of these hundreds of people I do not know ONE person who has been paid , period. If this was truly a "delay" as Neteller claims wouldn't somebody , somewhere, at least one person be posting how they received their cash ?
This simple fact leads me to believe they're not planning on paying anyone.
This is a banking business , they make their profit off fees associated with using this service. They are not selling a product. They are not using the clients money to reinvest in their product. They're merely a funds transfer means. Why don't they have everyones money on hand then ?

If you ask the people to say what date they made the withdrawal, you can get an idea whether they are "BS"ing, or are just slow. If anyone withdrew more than 5 days BEFORE all this hit, they should have been paid. If not, this would indicate the move was pre-planned by Neteller and they chose not to announce it in advance to prevent players from clearing their accounts en-masse (possibly to a casino that would agree to send a check).

I made a big withdrawal from my UK account, and I have seen no progress at all, so there is certainly an issue with speed of initiating the process.

This thread has given me a blooming good idea!

All you Americans who can't play via Neteller anymore:
1. Peer to Peer your $US to my Neteller account.
2. Tell me which casino & which games you want to play.
3. I'll deposit the money into my account at that casino & play those games.
4. If I make a profit, I'll "Peer to Peer" it back to you... (less 15% commission) :p

I made a $5,100 withdrawal request on Jan-17th, and the funds hit my bank account on Jan-23rd.
That was only 4 working days, as there was a weekend in-between.
I found that acceptable. More than 7-days & I would have started worrying. :(

You're way too funny KK....

Sad thing is that we may have to do that if we ever want to see another profit from an online casino !

Cheers!

I have just phoned the "secret" UK Neteller number I was given, and it went straight through to VIP services (so I didn't have to wait forever on hold).
The reason my withdrawal was taking so long was that it never reached their system:mad:
It worked OK at my end, and because their system gives no feedback till the transfer is done, how the hell am I supposed to know the system has not accepted it, an email confirming the request has been queued would not go amiss!

How about it Neteller?

CHEERS!

I just called Neteller to ask why my EFT withdrawals made on the 17th and 19th of January hadn't arrived yet. LOL...

Boy I got the royal treatment! No CHEERS but he might have well have said that to me!

All EFT withdrawals I was told would take at least two months to complete due to the high volume. The one I requested on the 17th definitely at least 6 weeks but the ones on the 19th who knows he told me.

guess what

i just got a courtesy email from neteller that i owe them three bucks!!!how could that happen when i had at least 140 dollars in the account and waiting on another deposit sent from a casino at least ten days ago that has not registered in my neteller account. we are all going to lose some money in this mess.

Don't hold your breath......that deposit will never reach Neteller....You need to contact the casino in question and arrange for a different method of payment...

Cheers

This seems to be spreading to Non-US Neteller customers. I requested a withdrawal on Tuesday, and nothing had happened by Yesterday (normally, it would have reflected in my online statement by Thursday). On my first call to Neteller, I was told it had never reached their system, so I tried again while they were on the phone, and I was told to wait 24 hours and check again. I was also told my withdrawal would be unaffected by the US problem. Yesterday, some 34 hours later, nothing, it was damn hard to get through, and I was told to try again (3rd time), which I did successfully, and I was told that the department who processes these does not work at weekends (bit odd considering the massive backlog, they could at least queue them for processing on the Monday to speed the manual part of the process up a little.
I will really have to wait till Tuesday before arriving at a diagnosis of "Bullshite syndrome", but I have now been told that there are some 2 MILLION withdrawals awaiting processing, and the sheer volume IS having some knock on effect for non-US customers.
I was at least treated like Royalty, no mention of "cheers". Perhaps Neteller management have seen the video and instructed their support staff that on no account are they to utter, or write, "Cheers" in any correspondence with clients.
They assured me that ALL money is safe, but the problem remains with it being trapped for US customers, and slowed a little for Non-US customers.

I can still freely deposit & withdraw to casinos, but because Neteller are not accepted outside gambling circles I cannot pay off bills (including, at last, my new PC) directly from Neteller, but have to withdraw to my bank, and pay from there. If Neteller had thought of this before, and diversified, much of the money so trapped could have been used to pay off bills and make purchases, currently, if you can't use casinos, withdrawal is the ONLY option.

Online casinos also suffer, as if Non-US players are suffering liquidity problems, this will inhibit their ability to move money between casinos, Neteller, and the bank - the result will be less money held in eWallets, and less gross deposits to casinos. I hope they have made plans to ride out this storm, as it goes beyond just the loss of US players.

I requested a withdrawal by FedEx overnight on Monday and it's processed on Wednesday.
I made another withdrawal by normal cheque on Wednesday and it's processed all at once.
All happened last week.

seems really odd to me that NO One has received their requested funds from over a week ago. if they were really processing withdrawls some of us would have gotten something. i still have money withdrawn from a casino from over ten days ago that has not shown up at neteller. they have that money. if they had refused the money from the casino it would be back in my casino account by now. i am afraid they have been caught with their pants down. also having a stock suspended for this long period of time is very very unusual. cant remember a similar situation.

If Netellers accounts are not already frozen by the Feds, I am sure that they will be soon.

What about if I make a withfraw from a casino, poker or sportbook. Will this be allow to get my money into neteller.

Neteller...

players, in a nutshell....NO ! You will not ever see your money if you withdraw using Neteller. Use any other means the casino/sportbooks/etc. offers BESIDES Neteller. Good luck !
