I think there is a plugin for this. I gotta check since this is a good idea.Webzcas said:Haven't read all this thread, so if my question has already been answered, sorry for being lazy
My question is, other than the green dots next to a user's name, how can you check how many rep points other people have? I know in your cp on vbulletin boards like this one, you can view the rep you have received good or bad as well as the the rep you have given. But I have never figured out, how to view the total number of points other posters have received - other than the green dots.

I'm putting a plan together to make this work out for the best - some incentives where posters can reward other posters for good informative posts. There should be something in the next week or two.scrollock said:i dont think people are aware of the reputation points, i know i wasn't till i read this thread.

Exactly. I'm planning to have a small FAQ set up in an obvious place that will cover all of this. Perhaps tomorrow or Thursdayvinylweatherman said:Surely it should be to do with post quality and not quantity. I have seen the section on reputation points, but there is no link to find out how it all works, so I have tended to ignore it. Even this thread is just a discussion, there is no link to a forum "How To" help page on reputation points, thanks, rules etc. If this system is now going to be more important we need to know how to use it, as if it is too bewildering the tendency will to be to ignore it.

Money or free beer would be good
The problem with casino chips is that it wouldn't apply to everyone since not everyone is an active online gambler. Also receiving money or chips opens up abuse behaviour.Pinababy69 said:And casino chips are always welcome, lol. In all seriousness though, I love this whole concept...totally unique and provides a way to interact with other members.

Note that mine is only 15. This way I don't wield too much power over others since I have the highest amount of posts, and have the oldest account
