Redbet - Ridiculous deposit charges

Well,it seems Redbet is going off the grid for me too.
Played there over the weekend and they charged me €1.25 for every €50.00 I have deposited.
Then decided to use paysafe card but heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey also there they charge 4% of every transaction made.
And on top,when you make a withdrawal they are gonna charge you again!

So your €1.00 is basicly only worth 80 cents or so in places like this.
Like it isn't hard enough to get to a win and withdrawal situation.


I think this kind of stuff is pure robbery!

Charging money on deposits. Like wtf!

Livechat said they have to charge it because they are being charged too by payment processors.

Redbet didn't charge anything on Skrill-withdrawals I made this week, also e-wallet and bank deposits are free. Many casinos have 2.5% fee for credit card deposits, Paysafecard is probably the most expensive form of payment to any internet site, for example if you want to use Paysafecard to deposit on your Skrill account, Skrill takes 5.5% fee from you, some casinos charge Paysafecard fees, some don't. Anyway, customer service and payment processing is fast, games run smoothly so I'm still pretty happy with Redbet overall.

That's one of the things I always disliked about Redbet, along with the 40x WR and 100 max cash out on free spins.

I buy Paysafecards sometimes, and it hurts having to pay such high fees. If I play at Unibet the same applies (3%). Sometimes I'm just like ***k this, I'll be playing somewhere where I don't have to pay these fees.

I think they should remove them, especially when the deposited amount is very high like 100 euros.

I have no issues with Redbet,always liked the place but the deposit fees are very annoying and like I said the games on Quickfire were slow the whole weekend...

Casino's should always swallow any 'transaction fees' or currency charges. Whatever you deposit should be reflected in your balance.

Mr Green started off charging a small fee for CC deposits, but quickly dropped them.

I'm sure all casino's face similar banking/transaction charges etc - but the vast majority don't pass them on.

2 out of 5 Casinomeister's Top Rated Casinos charge 2.5% fee on credit card deposits, which is pretty common among casinos, I don't think you can really use term "vast majority" when it comes not taking 2.5% fee on credit card deposits. When it comes to Paysafecard, maybe there the "vast majority" would apply, many casinos that charge 2.5% for credit card deposits don't charge anything for paysafecard despite the paysafecard costing apparently somewhere between 4-5.5% to merchant, I guess they think no chargebacks or any other mess makes it worth it to them.

Exactly. This is part of the costs to run the casino and should be covered by the house edge. This is a really bad trend IMO (and fairly recent too).

How does 2.5% on top of credit card deposit or 4% fee from paysafecard turn in to "€1.00 is basicly only worth 80 cents or so" ? There is no fee on withdrawals unless you try something like deposit with E-wallet and immediately try to withdraw without any wagering, or something similar, in which case most casinos would charge something, not doing that would invite people to farm their e-wallet VIP status at the expense of casino.
