it was suggested aLong wiTh a couple others witch i already have Q T,AND E WALLET EXPRESS
but wired plastic sounded interesting if its another choice for me in U.S.A.?
any input ty vm R. C.

i have it and i like it you can cash-out to it with no prombles and i,ve never had any trouble putting money into any of my accounts. they only charge you 3.95 a month or use to. just like netspend except everytime you use it they charge you 44 cents to do it. i still like my netspend better then any of them.

Compared to some of the options out there the fees aren't horrible as far as prepaid goes. The nice option with this card the ability to wire money from QT or any casino for that matter directly into wired plastic. Most people use this option in lieu of a bank account because there afraid there normal bank might shut them down.
Most people from what I've read use this card for getting winnings then use the netspend card to make deposits. I've been told the difference between this and EWX is the withdrawal turn around time is faster especially if you use quicktender to process the withdrawal. I personally haven't made a withdrawal from either one because most of them I do a direct wire from the casino.

I know this is totally off topic, but if you choose the monthly bill option from netspend, most of your fees are waived minus the $10 monthly fee. So if your fees from using you card add up to more than $10 I'd switch.

I withdraw from QT to my Wired plastic all the time with no problems. Wired charges 6.95 for the wire transfer. You can transfer 2500.00 a day to it. If the cashout is more they credit it to your account at 2500.00 a day until it is paid. You can send any amount up to 10,000.00 to it. The thing I like best about it, is that you can load it at 7-11. Very convienient.

Hi Curts...

You can get it (only) directly from them at www.wiredplastic.com. You will receive an actual plastic card, which will arrive in 7-10 days. It normally takes QT 3 business days to send the w/d via wire. After that, it takes 3-5 days to hit the card.

Has anybody received a call from the fraud department at Wired Plastic? I was called and they said that I had received wire transfers to my account and they wanted to know where the money had come from. I said a relative. She then stated my account was not able to recieve wire transfers from anywhere except my own bank accounts, not even from an employer She said that they had to be able to trace the money back to me and me only and if I was to receive another transfer from anywhere other than my own bank accounts my account would be closed.

I just started using my Wired Plastic account about 3 weeks ago, I had one wire transfer from QuickTender (over $5000)....

Just wondering if I have been singled out or is this the beginning of the end (UIGEA)?

Wow! I have had withdrawals from QT quite a few times and have never been questioned. I think the largest amount I had sent at one time was for 2000.00. Not sure what is going on.

My withdrawal was for $6500. $2500 was credited immediately, and the rest was credited every few days.

They questioned where the money came from...I said relative...they then stated I am only able to receive wires from my own bank accounts. She stated that they HAD to be able to trace the money back to me...that is what set off alarm bells in my head. Maybe they know the money was from gambling and not a relative as I had stated, therefore they imposed these rules on me. She did unlock my account and told me I was free to use the money as I wished....but no more wire transfers from anyone but me or they would close the account.

I just read about someone else having the same problem at another forum. They went to use their card at a place of business and the clerk got a message to keep the card. They had to call and they were transferred to the fraud dept. When asked where the wires were coming from they said it was from a web wallet. They were then told no more wire transfers and they did unlock the card. Hmm. Doesn't sound good. Thanks for letting us know.

My guess and this is only a guess, is if you exceed the daily load limit on the card that it might raise a flag in the loss prevention department. I know it says right in the terms that if you get a wire for over $2,500 they'll just credit each day, but that also means someone such as a book keeper or even a CS rep will see the details of the transaction, because by the sounds of it probably someone manually credits the rest. My two cents on it all and I know QT fees or any other casinos fees are steep, but keep all withdrawals to under $2,500. Then this is only a guess again this way it keeps it as an automated process vs not then that way there really isn't human interaction whatsoever. I realize the reason people cash out in a hurry is so they don't have any temptation to spend it back, but I suppose that's where self restraint comes in hand. Otherwise if you really want the cash all at once granted I've read several horror stories about people getting checks and using ewalletexpress, but push comes to shove get a check or do an ACH transfer from EWX.
My guess is until the illegal gambling laws goes bunk that people with prepaids, normal bank accounts, and what not are just going to have issues with gambling online period.

Was the amount also over $2500.00 dollars?

A couple weeks ago I had a wire not from QT but a withdrawal from a casino for $1600.00 and I was not question and had no problems with the wire.

Ive had the card for almost 2 years now.
Never had any problem, besides the fact that its very expensive.3.95 to load,45cents for each transaction, 95c. if you call the live CS, 3.95 a month maintenance fees and a mediocre customer service.
I have received money from QT many times ,withouth any questioning whatsoever......although I havent received any in the last few months :oops:

My money was credited today, no problem.

Michelle

Glad to hear you didn't have any problems. All I know is that they will close my account if I have anymore incoming wires from QuickTender. Maybe when they asked me where the wire came from I should have told them the truth (gambling). She rattled off the info from the wire and I said I didn't understand any of that I just knew the money was wired to my account from a relative.
