Today I could no longer make deposits with my VISA card on Ruby Fortune and VIP Lounge casino.
No problems with 32Red however.
Anyone else has difficulties or an explanation for this?
Will European players also no longer be able to use VISA for online gambling?

I had problems with Visa yesterday as well but they seem to be fine today so far.... hopefully I won't need to keep finding this out today :puke:

I haven't been able to use MC for the last few weeks but that is interesting you could until recently.

Greendot prepaid visa debit is still working most places for me and when I can't use this at a casino I fund my quicktender account with it.

Have a look at this guys, the current Mastercard/Visa issues are discussed in some detail:
Mastercard/Visa -- huge seizure

I have seen this, as have others, but after looking at a map of the USA I simply CANNOT locate the state of Belgium:rolleyes:

There is clearly more to this issue than we are being told by official sources. VISA should NEVER present problems when depositing at online casinos, except for US players, and others where it is expressly illegal. If it worked before this crackdown OUTSIDE the US, it should STILL be working - at least according to what we have been told.
IF, however, the credit card industry has decided to pull out of online gambling funding altogether, it presents bigger problems for operators than they realised, especially for those that make it clear they do not like webwallet depositing players, such as Rushmore.
Even here in the UK, there is declining support among credit card issuers for online gambling, with many restricting how much of a person's total credit limit can be used for such deposits, and individual banks free to decide to ban such transactions altogether, which in my experience has been EVERY Mastercard I have ever tried.

I think that is the problem I have.It seems that my VISA deposits are limited now.
I found out it is not "casino related".Today I made 4 deposits at 32Red, the 5th was refused. After that I tried VipLounge, and there my deposit was also refused. They changed the rules, but I don't know how:confused:

This might be a transaction limit, and yours could be 4 per given period. This would be different to the transaction limits casino groups impose on cards, which are usually a set amount per week. This might apply regardless of the amounts transacted, so you might manage 4x500 one day, and get blocked at 2000, and another day 4x50, and get blocked after a total of only 200 has been deposited. This is not as bad as the card company pulling out altogether, but WILL have an effect on operators because it is their bigger players that are likely to be affected, and will find themselves unable to put through the volume of deposits they used to, even if they can still afford to despite the recession.

This should NOT be a problem with webwallets such as Neteller, but there is now so much "anti" sentiment about these among operators that it discourages players. NO casino has EVER stepped forward to explain EXACTLY what is wrong with, say, Neteller - so players who might entrust many THOUSANDS in their webwallet are left to guess, and hope that it is NOT something to do with the webwallet about to "do a runner", or "go bust". What players DO know, however, is that there is some "secret inside information" that has some operators "$h1t scared" of players who use these as means to deposit, and I mean ACCREDITED operators, not just the rogues and "run of the mill" ones.
In the case of Neteller, it is so secret even Neteller don't know what's up:confused:

NO MORE NETSPEND AT INETBET?????

I just tried to deposit with my netspend card and got a decline notice. Something about the card isn't accepted there now?? Anyone else know anything about it? It worked until 2 days ago.

The same thing happened to me yesterday, but when I checked my credit card history, the money is gone (to Inetbets processor) but not in my Inetbet account.
Still waiting for Intebet to respond to my last email from yesterday.
I made two deposits, one made it the other did not and is in limbo somewhere....

just tried netspend at Nostagia and Zodiac casino CASINO REWARDS and card was denied I am USA have no clue what is going on

I used my Visa yesterday and the day before and have not had a a problem yet.

But when I do use it, I don't use round numbers, like 50.00 - it will be 51.95 or 50.99 - I had found in the past using too many round numbers made the bank call me :)

Maybe nothing to do with the situation, but works for me so far

UK based and used MC and Visa Debit with no problems at places like 32Red, Bet365, Sega, Virgin, Purple Lounge, Golden Lounge, Betsson, 3Dice etc over the past few weeks.

No, but I did note that a lot of round number deposits and I would get a call -since I switched to adding "cents" to them, haven't had a call in a very long time.

Maybe just me being squirley about calls and emails from my bank
