No, I have a slight lag in the tournament screens. It was already on my PC but the software upgrades every so often

Well I still cannot download it. Never happened before. Checked everything - even deleted the file and reloaded but still cannot go past around the 80% mark.

Not running any of the security software that Pokerstars mentioned, so I cannot understand why it is happening.

Sent pokerstars my file and now waiting. May have to give this site a miss.

Just find it strange that's all.

Still having problems downloading. So Pokerstars asked me to send them the pokerstars file. I found 2 of the 3 they wanted but could not find "pokerstars.log.O" I sent them back an email and I got a strange response:

"we are unable to give out any account information to third party emails. In order to provide you with further account details, provide transaction information, or make account changes, please contact us from the email address registered to your PokerStars account."

How can I send them an email when I cannot open the site?? And why all the mystery all of a sudden?

I have sent them a response and will let you know the outcome. If someone can help me further I would appreciate it

What does this mean? Some sort of tracking or browsing cookie?

Yes, it seems to be. I dont use IE anymore because its riddled with popups and I cant be bothered fixing it. Firefox is great.

I dont know if they have attached that & I doubt they have. I think it would be crazy if they did.

Is it your 1st download?

I dont know much about it. My answer to most things it clear your cache and reboot your PC.

PC's and Mac computers have a different download page, maybe you are trying the wrong one. I know nothing about Macs

I am also using Firefox

I guess everybody wants in the act. Sell the info for the best price.

As for the other info - no I have downloaded their new versions many times without problems. I am on PC. I have also rebooted and re-downloaded the software and still no luck. But what is mystifying is Pokerstars wanting info from my pokerstars file and then shutting up shop.

How do you clear your cache?

Still no word regarding me response to them. Do you think something is up?

No reply to my email. Until I sent them my file as requested they were very quick to reply. Since that strange email I have had nothing. Smells a bit weird to me. So I have decided to delete the file - no more JokerStars!!!

Guess I will have to find a better one - can anyone give me a recommendation? No biggy though.

Id be happy to get a reply within the day. I'm still waiting over a week for an answer over something else. Try FullTiltPoker, open to Americans, decent software, busy site, support not so good but getting better.

Pokerstars Update

Sent them an angry email after I had deleted their program and got a reply telling me that they have had hundreds of calls come through where players have not been able to access their accounts. Appears something is wrong with their upgrade and are asking players to send them pokerstars files.

I wonder has this anything to do with what GaryWatson was talking about earlier??? ie. cookies screwing up the download??
