Hello everyone,

I deposited on Pokerstars Casino and used the welcome offer. A little confusing regarding wagering ... but fine.

In the middle of play (exactly 10 minutes after deposit) I got kicked out and trying to log back in it shows the message that my account was frozen.

I got an email to say my account was flagged during a routine security check.
I had to verify my account.
No problem, I have the documents ready and after 5 minutes of receiving the email I uploaded the documents to their system.

I have not heard back from them. No confirmation. No email back from customer support.

Is this casino a scam? Are other people also experiencing this horrible customer service?
If i have to wait 24 more hours I will begin a credit card chargeback.

I still havent received a single reply and they dont have a phone number or live chat... they basically just took my money immediately after depositing... this seems really odd and bad.

Verification at a lot of casinos does take time, it's not instant.

Have you played at pokerstars before with a different username for Poker play?

i know it takes time but i received no communication whatsoever.

I emailed them my documentation that i use for all other casinos..

I never have been flagged like this so im just a bit worried due to lack of communication.

I think i played poker with them like 10 years ago and tried to "forgot my password" but it didnt recognise my email.

Gotta say, after seeing the title of this thread and my deposit limits elsewhere I erm registered at this site.....

And other than the weird experience of playing Bonanza, Book of Dead & DOA II in US Dollars, I was more than happy to see them pay without hassle, very quickly. So no Keystone Cops runaround from them, in fact based on my (brief) experience with them I'd say they tick all the boxes, and I would play there again.

As for their lack of communication, well that's something I thankfully swerved. I just played with straight money and likely got verified electronically (the proper way)

I am registered on probably 25 casinos all fully verified... this month im up EUR 3596 which is very nice just before Christmas.... but this casino is REALLY pissing me off.... thankfully other players have a much better experience than me :)

you won’t really issue a change back as it will come back to bite you give them time it’s the weekend

I still play poker at Pokerstars sometimes and they are as legit as legit can be. They don't mess around.

I wish I could play in their casino but it is unavailable to Canadians. <sigh> Maybe that's a good thing. I'd spend all the poker profits chasing the slots.

Hold up @AnaxDigital . I just noticed the date of your first post. It has only been 1.5 business days. It is a little early to be hitting the panic button.

Give PokerStars a minute to respond. Remember that PS is a massive organization. But they will get back to you. If you have not heard from them by late Monday-Tuesday, contact live chat and inquire, c'est tout. :)

I deposited on wednesday and was frozen 10 min after depositing. I emailed support and emailed my documents the same day. I will definitely wait and give them time. Just not used to casinos taking this long without a single communication.

Thanks all for your input :)

You never said how much they're holding ransom but since you made a topic about it here I'm going to guess it's not just €20 then...

Just sending a mail that they locked your account and then being non-responsive to any follow-up within hours is unacceptable. When they do this they should have a dedicated CS person ready to deal with these cases instead.

Isn’t it 48 hours for fraud checks on payments this was one of the reasons I stopped playing there
