Every time i log in to read new posts i find minimum 2-3 complaints about this casino.
Its been like that many months. People sign up after reading the review: Fast withdrawal,
4 of 5 stars.

The more I see of this topic, the more of a rat I smell...

I would agree there is an unusually high number of complaint threads about this casino, however I would counter (having read many of them) that there is an unusually high number of unfounded complaints as well.

A lot of the threads we are seeing involve withdrawals between 6 and 24 hours old. There is clearly a problem with mismatched expectations here - the player expectations are unreasonable, and some of that may be down to the operator also. We see very few threads regarding any other operator about withdrawals within this time frame - it's almost exclusively targeting PlayOJO.

The @EGO rep has been pretty responsive to threads, so one thread that really raised eyebrows was this one posted last week - the OP claimed, at 0633GMT, that they had been waiting 24 hours for the withdrawal to be processed; the rep replied later in the day, saying the withdrawal (for the same amount) had been requested at 1535GMT (i.e. 9 hours later) and processed 11 minutes later.

The OP hasn't visited the site since they posted to provide any updates or clarification...

We see plenty of shill campaigns for casinos, the more I see of this I'm wondering if we are seeing a shill campaign against a casino.
 
Agreed, I have directed a handful of new accounts to the PlayoJo rep in the past week. Interesting...

FWIW, I hear from the rep that they had this same level of activity at another site a while back and then all that seemed to migrate here, for whatever reason.

I must say if someone is trying to smear PlayOjo they are doing a pretty lousy job of it: lots of non-issues resolved quickly doesn’t say “player beware!” to me. As Webzcas said, kudos to the rep for putting up with all that and still managing to get it done promptly and efficiently.

but for some there will be delays and for a multitude of reasons , for example those that need to submit docs or to update old ones or need an SOF check . Also a number times players payment methods fail and we have to ask for alternatives and don't get replies for hours and another that happens quite a bit. all big wins have to be sent to the Providers for verification which can add a day or two

but important to note, a player can place a cooling-off period on their account through the ''Player Limitation page in your personal area''. This will help protect their winnings from further play while waiting for their withdrawal to be completed,

Ya gonna have to chime in here. Played tonnes at Playojo. Serious delays with withdraws and support not helpful at all. Plus most games on low rtp levels.

The casino pays and the rep is helpful but that isnt reason enough for a 9 rating. Id imagine more around a 7 would be proper.

m8 I closed my account this year, you can call it instant but the processing time to approve payment is from 8hrs to 24hrs when payment gets approved is instant, so you don't pay real instant like many other UK casinos do, under 5mins so stop claiming fake instant time when you don't pay instant

It's been discussed for a while that the ratings need an overhaul (and I assume that'll happen with the new owners) - because it's applying a more traditional viewpoint when things have changed dramatically in the past 3-5 years.

I would say they tick most of the existing boxes (hence the higher rating) but would perhaps struggle when some of the newer standards are considered - immediate payouts (as in less than 4 hours), default RTPs etc.

That seems to be part of the confusion then - not all withdrawals will be immediate, but if a large percentage require manual approval then it should not be considered an instant withdrawal (which I would consider to be along the VISA Direct timeframes - usually within 30 minutes, the vast majority complete within 4 hours).

That would explain the mismatched expectations (particularly when the underlying product branding is "Instant Bank Payment", a variation of faster payments) - but as said before the player expectations are similarly unrealistic if they are registering and posting on a forum six hours after withdrawal that they "haven't been paid". I've had my share of delayed (due to technical issues) payments over the years... I'm not going to go crazy because a withdrawal that usually takes 5 minutes has taken 36 hours.

PlayOJO aren't the only ones that may overstate their withdrawal speeds - so the unusually high frequency comment would still stand in that case. Similarly, with the increase in regulatory requirements it seems like a matter of when and not if you'll have a delayed withdrawal - which again comes down to expectation management.


I don't know if the rep has access to this information, or is willing to share it - but would be interested to know how many payments are processed (from start to finish - i.e. clicking withdraw to the payment being sent by PlayOJO) within 4 hours?

I dont play at OJO anymore but I always got paid. Most times its in and around the 6 hour mark, sometimes within a couple of hours, a few times 11-12 hours.
It states on the withdrawal page they aim to have withdraws completed in 11 hours so its not as if they are trying to kid anyone. I honestly think people just need to learn a bit of patience.
The only negative for me on OJO was the lac of livechat, cba waiting a day to get a reply to a chat message.

I won yesterday. Click to withdraw and still waiting! It’s annoying really cause they are advertise fast instant withdrawals which is false. @EGO said they check big wins hencwhy it’s taking longer than expected but over 24 hours now and no payment made………… it just says processing

But as I understand it this is not how the UKGC intended the system to work. A withdrawal should not trigger requests for info and therefore delay a cashout, thus be used as a stick to make players comply.

The triggers for ID and SoW etc. are based on deposits only obviously because they are certain, so if not triggered by any particular deposit then if said deposit leads to a withdrawal, that withdrawal is irrelevant in regard to future requests.

The doc requests should affect depositing and play until satisfied, not existing withdrawals actioned BEFORE such requests were initiated.
 
PlayOJO, just give clear answers about what your players can expect regarding payout times, and it should sort out this endless repetition.

That answer is good for nothing - it's similar to your employer saying to you, 'We aim to process your wages as soon as possible' when asked about payday.

Just say straight something like - We process payouts for fully verified player accounts within 12 hours if requested between Mon-Fri.

This one is also useless, just give a time frame.

Our payments team needs to review certain withdrawal requests as part of our standard process. This review takes up to 24 hours to complete. You will receive an email update once the review is finished.

Players need to know specifics, not promises or storytelling things about OJO.
 
I feel sorry for the many thousands out there that is not aware of Casinomeister and the rep Ego.
Stressing themselves and playing away there winnings.
I have done it myself many times and it makes me feel sick, problems caused of the casinoes after
i won.
BitStarz worst ,when they stalled my withdrawal for weeks asking for a old visacard i used 2 years prior and i could not find a copy of it. I had done several deposits and withdrawals after this. Ended up loosing 75.000 kr in just frustration. Olle was no help at all.
Betsson group withdrew 28.000. from my prepaid Muchbetter card . Saying that something technical in their system had noticed that the 3 last months playing they had forgotten to charge my deposits. So i ended up -28.000 kr that i had to downpay to muchbetter in 1 month i had to lend money from «friends»
to make it.
Even i made a PAB and i had receipts from Muchbetter for every single deposits these 3 months i got nowhere.
Still frustrated about that one.
