Bryan, is there a transcript of your radio show on the website somewhere? I want to know what you say, but can't listen to it at work (but I can read it if its available).

Unreal! Just heard your radio show and no doubt I'm convinced Cirrus is part of the Virtual group! I think the webmaster site you spoke of is planning a big party on Friday giving out 25 or so free Cirrus accounts. No wonder all the whinning you are raining on their parade! :(
I think I'll just stay away from this casino and deposit elsewhere.

You have a great radio show, I enjoyed it and can't wait till next week.

BTW: I'm going to download that firewall you spoke about. :)

Hi jpm,

The transcript is on its way to the email address you've registered in the forum. Most of this will be tomorrows newsletter for those of you who do not have speakers attached to your computer :D

From the looks of the BW Rogue story, it seems like they screwed up royally only ONCE. It happens probably everywhere and everyone is entitled to it. They can't be rogue if they are not like that consistently. Because if they were, as someone mentioned earlier, Sterlinghouse and Grandbanks should also be.

my 2 cents

Anyone ever play 747 Casino? I gotta say that the airplane theme is about the worst I,ve ever seen, but their bonuses are outstanding. (i,m not sure how much you have to wager to cash-in...prolly a million dollars) Any help on this one? Tim Peterpaul

Research here and at WOL (to name but two reputable sites)will show that this was not an isolated incident and that all three of these casinos have been the subject of complaints - BW and Sterlinghouse more so than Grand Banks.

However, it is your money, your research and your judgement.

<hr size=0>quote:<p>it seems like they screwed up royally only ONCE<hr size=0>
Hmm. Not really. Before then, there were a number of smaller incidents when they were an RTG casino. Grand Banks and BW were the only two RTG sites that I was listing here and standing by. But it was difficult at times since I would get hit up by aggrieved players who were having some sort of difficulty.

Unfortunately in this business, it can take only one major screw up to lose trust with the players and other means of support. And what made this a major screw up was the way it was handled. I think you will understand this by reading my write up on the matter.

Of course this is open to redemption. Black Widows managers have been in contact with me asking what it would take to be removed. If enough players contact me stating that they are satisfied that this casino is handling themselves differently, then I will take all of this into consideration. Unfortunatley, I haven't received an overwhelming amount of supporting emails from the happy players. I'm not convinced yet that a similar situation would be handled differently.

Hi Bryan;

I wanted to write something nice about a casino for a change and wanted to put the information in the "Recommend a Site to a Friend" but I keep getting the "Woops" page. I am not trying to spam the board but with all the casinos popping up and players are getting screwed I wanted to say something good for a change.

I have played and joined all the new casinos offering great bonuses but I can never win anything. So I decided to go back to my old casino sites and guess what! It paid off.
I did not use a bonus, just deposited $100.00 and won $5,000. on the "Gopher Slots Game" at Starluck Casino.
No problem worrying about meeting the wagering requirements, My winnings were credited back to my checking account in 5 business days.

What have I learned? I'm avoiding new pop-up casinos and casinos offering first-time player bonuses. It's easier to play without bonuses and I don't have to worry about being a bonus hunter and there are no hassles with getting paid.

Well they need to do two things in order to get my recommendation for removal. First, either take that pure B.S. statement about fastest payouts off their web page, or live up to that claim and pay out fast! I'm waiting weeks for my cashin.

And item #2 would be, pay me already!

I've been paid several times from this group. They are quite slow in paying. (I can live with this if there are good bonuses and confidence in payment)

Hip Hop

I worry about casinos that are VERY slow in paying, to me this is a red flag that the casino is in financial trouble. A good example is what happened with Atlantic Interbet. Their payouts got slower and slower until last year they closed without warning. Slow pay to me erodes confidence in payment and offsets good bonuses.

Well, i guess i underestimated the amount of research that is done before a site really is rogued. i guess i am used to the few boards i have seen where one guy just bad mouths the next without any back up. Don't get me wrong though, i am not implying that such a thing happens hear. I just figured that some of the ones i have mentioned in the past that apparently have a questionable reputation are nevertheless among the TOP TEN most visited casinos according to Casino City Press (some months ago). So while i would risk it to a certain extent, i would have thought they would still be among the safer and more reliable ones. Otherwise, i could not imagine them lasting long.

Thanks for the insight guys. i really appreciate. i have only joined here fairly recently but i gotta say, CasinoMeister is a top notch site.

Thanks alot Admin...and jetset too.

Babysister, are you a shill for iGlobalMedia or Starluck?

You've been a member here at Casinomeister for quite some time, and I thought you were legit, but now I'm not so sure. I find it shocking how many $$$ you claim to have won at Starluck.

For a number of years, iGlobalmedia was one of the biggest scams on the net. The Wizard of Odds claimed thier bj game at Apolla, Zantana, Planet Luck and other sites was not consistent with a random game. (i.e. RIGGED) IGlobalMedia software was developed from the Handa-Lopez software.

Since the end of 2001, iGlobalmedia developed brand new software, which the Wizard said is probably fair, although he tested it with his former account, so even he can't be sure.

I do know I played a 100% bonus ($100) at Planet Luck a couple months back (with thier new software), and I managed to cashout $163 after meeting thier wagering req's, which were quite reasonable. I got paid in less than 24 hrs. So it is apparent that iGlobalMedia is trying to improve its rep.

But can zebra change its stripes?
I personally doubt it.

Hi davr:

No I am not any of the things you suggested. I know that the only places that I have won is at StarLuck Casino and Going Gambling. I have always gotten paid and the amounts are usually between 3,000 and 5,000. I have had losing periods like from March thru May ,back then I couldn't play to win anything until now.
Dav R, I am just a happy player, and I have never played at Planet Luck or the other casinos you described, I only play at winning casinos like the two I mention above and I don't play with bonuses. I knew there were problems in the past, but I think they have cleaned up their act since then. I have played all the new casinos that has been spamming my email box and I have never won anything at these casinos. That is why I stick with all my favorite old casinoes and stick with places that I know I can win without all the bonues. Besides that, I don't like the software of playtech casinos. I was a big player at Maupa casino until they switched over to playtech. As to your question, yes, I believe a zebra CAN change it's stripes and can PROVE it.

Send me your email address and I will send you a copy of my winnings or I will send it to Bryan. ;)

My personal belief every time I read the online gambling surveys done by various respected outfits, is that although there are significant numbers of players lurking on good message boards, it is still a relatively small proportion of the available pool of newbies or occasional gamblers who have not yet locked on to the protective advantages of using message boards.

Allied to good marketing (and most of the Top Ten are excellent marketers) that makes for very good business.

I do believe Black Widow has partially redeemed itself; reports from several other forums are that they are now paying on a more timely basis.
(This apparently is not the case with jpm.)

This, however, cannot excuse the lies that Black Widow spewed when the whole scandal took place.

It really bothers me when a Casino is unwilling to take RESPONSIBILITY for its own mistakes.

iGlobal Media sux and thats the bottom line. People don't fall for this lure. You deposit into they casinos and get taken for a ride. If you happen to win though. They will pay in 8 hrs or so. But the games are fixed!

Well in all honesty Cirrus Paid me quick on my free $25 deposit. I had no problems with them
Oh course they required me to send in a ID. In which I have a few fake ones. But here is the emails

I never said that they were withholding payments. I am merely presenting information that connects Cirrus with the Virtual Casino Group:
https://www.casinomeister.com/rogue-casinos/

People want to blow this off? That's their perogative. But they can't say they weren't warned.

And for all those over at Playing4keeps that have their panties tied in knots, get a grip! It's like a bunch of deranged girl scouts fighting over the Cheesits over there! Sheesh! I hope I didn't make them cry.

muder 1: What games are fixed? I only play slots and I am a frequent player at Starluck, I have been a long time player and I never get the feeling that the games are fixed or I wouldn't play there. I have never in the past two years seen a complaint here in this forum.(Bryan, correct me if I am wrong)

If you have proof, show it or don't knock it until you try in. !!!!!!!!!

I sent Bryan my cash -ins and details of the winnings and how much I was paid.
Bryan, did you check your email and viewed the cash-ins? I don't win all the time, I have a losing period for months as with any casino, but it does not mean the games were fixed.

Just because you had a bad expience with a casino does not mean that the casino sucks. You take a gamble by playing at a casino, some you lose and some times you win. Did the casino steal your money? No!! You are taking a risk with any deposit anticipating that you may, and hopefully win. That is your choice as to what casino you picked to deposit funds. Just because you had a bad playing spell does not mean that someone "lured" you into making a deposit. You deposited money in the casino, and decided to "take a ride", or as you said....We all play at casinoes hoping to win the BIG one and some of us like to play just for entertainment (my hobby) If I win something, that's great. But just because I lose sometimes I don't go around insulting the casino with accusations that the games are fixed.

I orginally started this tread to inform others of a good playing casino and one that actually paids without all the hassles, name labeling, etc.
I get so tired sometimes reading what casinoes are really screwing players and if they win, it takes months to get paid if at all and now you want to label me as a "SHILL" for expressing my opinion. ???????? What's up with that........ :eek2:

So CasinoBar made #15 eh? I don't remember that much. Nice to know. Way to prove the point.

jpm - i'm not so sure about basing financial trouble on the speed of the payment unless it is consistently delayed. But i have experienced slow payments from time to time and don't see it as any indication of the casino closing up shop.

Most of the established casinos experience their technical difficulties especially in payment processing considering that much money and effort is probably invested in adding new payment processes and changing or upgrading current methods.

jetset - judging from your statement, i am getting the feeling that i am one of the few suckers that falls for good marketing. What are the casinos that most of you are hitting these days. I mean, until now I have been playing at most of the more familiar ones based on either their name recognition (good marketting) or based on their being established for so lond (like pre-21st Century). But I barely see the originals up on this site. Why is that?

I think that all the players from Atlantic Interbet that got stiffed when they closed shop and left everyone high & dry might argue with you on that one jigga! They went downhill from 3 weeks for a $50 check w/d to a couple of months or more for the same before they closed.

No reason an established casino should be taking that long to process 2 or 3 digit payments. Even 4 digits shouldn't take that long. Intercasino can pay me in under 24 hours, Sunny Group in 24-48 hours, Various MG casinos in 4-5 days. The most likely reason a well established casino can't process a cashin in less than 3 - 4 weeks is probably a cashflow problem. Waiting for deposits from other players to cover your winnings. A losing proposition in the not so long run.

I'm with jpm on this one - slow payouts have time and again proved to be the precursor of a casino going down the tubes. That, allied to over-generous bonusing where the operator tries to attract enough deposits in to pay his outstanding winners in a no-win "rob Peter to pay Paul" cycle that leads to bonus disputes and disaster.

I haven't seen any recent surveys on the topic, but in the past several player surveys indicated that timeous payouts ranked high on the players' list of priorities. If that still holds true there are a number of sites that are taking a chance with these slow pays. But perhaps they think that good bonuses will offset that?

I think the biggest problem that Black Widow has is in their foundation. By that I mean to say that Black Widow's start came about as being a Real Time Gaming affiliate and try as they might I don't think they'll ever be able to shake that stigma.

I think it would be very interesting to see the back ground information and/or application that a person needs to provide to RTG when making application to become a RTG licensee. I would imagine that it would be all of two lines long.

Line 1) List all liquid assets.

Line 2) Provide detailed information on how fast those assets can be transferred to RTG.

To me, the most exciting game is Treasure Nile. I,m always on the edge of my seat on every spin. This game will either make you or break you...it,s either nasty or nice. I,ve hit the 5 Pharohs at least 7 times for $3,000 dollars each time. One day I hit it twice. I,ve got a love-hate thing going on with this game because there have also been many times that it just depleted my bankroll before I even knew what hit me.How I wish that they would make a 10 and 25 cent version of this game. I,ve done most of my Microgaming playing at the Colosseum Casino. If you,re into Microgaming, you have to check this casino out. They have more slots than anybody out there in Microgaming, and I always got paid without a problem. The thing is lately, I,m kind of tired of the same old Microgaming routine. It,s like clock-work.....you might win early in the session...and USUALLY it comes back with a vengence to take the winnings back from you. Almost like the randomness of the games has been overtaken by greedy Micro-Demon that is out to collect everything you have won earlier. Maybe it,s because I like to keep on playing....probably when I should cash-in, but if the games are random, as they are said to be, you would think that the dry spells would at some point turn around and throw some winners at you again. It would seem to me that if online casinos have so much less over-head than land-based casinos, that they would have a better payback percentage. If I had a decent land-based casino near me, I would surely spend my time and money there rather than online because these days the online casinos aren,t offering much...if any better paybacks. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Remember, most of this internet casinos are not regulated. They can have any odds they want.
Try Lasseters, goverment regulated, you can win more like a land based casino. Recieve your check in 10 days or less. No big progressives but usually it is long play time.
Also, Kiwi has winnings.

I think any site that pays within a week is exceptionaal in terms of pay outs. But i don't think that's the standard.

BTW, jpm - how is InterCasino paying you that you are receiving your cashouts within 24 hours?

Neteller jigga! They are lightning fast when you use that one. I've actually had a cashin from them in my neteller account in under 12 hours once!

Why aren't there any casinos where one can download and play games on his mobile phone ?

It wouldn't be as funky as on the web, but one can play anywhere (including workplace, so one is cashing in at least one way :uhoh: ).

Cheers, Dejan

Bryan,

Did you receive a copy of my winnings at Starluck Casino & GoingGambling? It should be two or three pages long. If you like, I can send you a report of winnings for 2002.

Bryan, I think that I have been around long enough to prove that accusations that I may be a "shill" are false. I have never been paid nor am I advertising for this particular site.

I just wanted people to know that this casino doesn't play games or makes you wait for weeks, months to get paid. This casino has an professinal suppot team, and if they can't solve a problem, you can contact or email the manager and he will call you in a reasonable amout of time.

I am not promoting any casinos but I know where I am treated fairly and can be sure that I will get paid.

DON'T BE A PLAYER HATER

(Message edited by babysister on June 12, 2003)

I just saw something recently about a casino that is doing this, but I can't remember which one it was. I remember that the games were limited, I think it was just BJ and maybe VP too.

I still haven't bought my PDA yet. (But will definately do so within 4-5 months) Gambling Online Magazine has done a LOUSY job of helping me decide what to do. Are there any reputable software developers that have setup PDA casinos?

I want to start playing blackjack for real money, while I'm sitting on a bus/train on the way to work.

What technical specs do I need to look for when buying a PDA?

Will the PocketPC Phone by TMobile be compatible?
What is bluetooth?
What is WI-FI?

Do I need all of these in order to be compatible with the new casino software?

How much are the monthly internet plans?

For the new "Pocket PC Phone" do I still need bluetooth and/or WIFI?

Yes.
A communications protocol over radio - which unfortunately shares the same frequency as wi-fi, which will be more popular.
Wireless Fidelity - basically, wireless network.

Yes, no, and no but would be nice to have.

There's only one package out - I've seen it, it's produced by Phantom Fiber and definitely had some potential - but in actual fact Boss and others already have versions ready - whether or not they are going to release them is another story, since I saw them in January 2002...

Hahaha! I love being a PLAYER HATER. Yeah. Right. Sheeeeeeesh.
That's the funniest thing I've ever heard.

I never asked you to send proof of your wins/losses to either myself or Bryan. If you are indeed a shill for either Starluck or iGlobalMedia, a financial history could be easily manufactured.

In fact, even in my post above I admit I didn't know for sure if you are a shill. You've posted several positive messages about Starluck over the past several months, and to be honest, up until now, I thought you were for real. And besides, I'm smart enough to realize that even at casinos that have very tight machines, there's got to be a winner every once in a while. For example, lets say an online casino sets all of its slot machines to only a 75% payback. Someone will still hit that jackpot EVENTUALLY. At land based casinos -- the game of Keno typically has a 25% edge, but every once in a while someone picks every # and wins. Same thing goes for instant lottery tickets that I buy at the mini mart (execept there the house edge is approximately 40%). Nevertheless, one person a 5 million will get the winning ticket for the guaranteed prize.

The facts are that in the years 2000-2001, The Wizard of Odds ran statistical tests on iGlobalMedia's blackjack game, in REAL MONEY mode, and the results were so out of whack (statistically significant) that he added iGlobalmedia to his blacklist. Since then -- the president and CEO of iGlobalmedia, Mario Wells, claims to have corrected the bugs in his bj game, and says everything is totally random. However, he has not refunded one red cent to anyone ripped off by his rigged game in the past. Worse yet, the Interactive Gaming Coucil, who self proclaims itself as the only true industry watchdog and lobbying orginization, never revoked iGlobalmedia's membership after they found out about the scandal. Apparently Rick Smith and Keith Furlong cared more about thier membership $$$. (GSS and COA World Entertainment[CasinoBar] were removed as members, since they did not renew thier membership. At the time I gave the IGC credit for revoking thier membership based on rigged software. But I finally got an email back from Keith explaining thier non-member status was do to thier lack of renewing and NOT rigged software at all.) So I maintain that the IGC lacks credibility.

I've given you the benefit of the doubt, based on other good reports that I've read at WinnerOnline from KX and others who seem to think iGlobalMedia has really changed for the better. But lately, it seems as if you've done nothing but spam for Starluck, and Bryan had to close one of your posts (you double posted it - surprise, surprise).

My personal experience is that iGlobalmedia has made significant improvements in both customer service and payouts. I personally had a good experience at Planet Luck. But does it mean the software is now honest?

As I said, can a zebra change it stripes? In most cases, the answer is no.

Spearmaster! I had a feeling you'd still be cool enough to help me anyway. (I'm glad this is one topic we are not arguing about)...

I heard a lot about Phantom Fiber's casino software. Do they have a live casino up and running for real money bets? If so, what's the URL? Is there a beta test site setup to DL the software?

Also, what's the difference between WI-FI and transfering the data to an ISP over my cellphone?

Isn't it true that Wi-Fi is only good in certain areas, and that I don't need a cell phone to connect to Wi-Fi, and that I can just pay for the service and get on the net?

If I need the cellphone anyway to connect to the net, then what's the use of Wi-Fi?

Also, if I buy an integrated PcketPC and phone, then isn't it true I don't need bluetooth at all?

WIRELESS WINDWARD

Parley and Phantom make mobile gambling a reality

Parlay Entertainment Limited, a member of the DCEG Group of Companies announced this week that one of its customers, WinwardCasino.com, will become the first to hit the market with its new real-time, real-money, full-function wireless suite of online casino games by end June 2003.
"The launch of the world's first real-time, real-money, full-function wireless casino suite by WinwardCasino.com will be a milestone," says David Outhwaite, Parlay's Chief Executive Officer. "Offering wireless functionality will allow our customers to extend their brand to the growing market of wireless gamers."

Developed in conjunction with wireless partner Phantom Fiber Inc., WinwardCasino.com's wireless casino suite offers 17 games including blackjack, slots and video poker for real money wagering on phones and PDAs powered by the PocketPC or Palm OS. Future enhancements will include new games, such as bingo, roulette and craps, and support for additional handheld device platforms like Symbian and J2ME.

"Our players will have the capability to play from their PC or wireless device with a single account, providing the best in online gaming entertainment," said Cristie McCrory, President of WinwardCasino.com. "I am astounded by the casino suite that our software partners, Parlay Entertainment and Phantom Fiber, have been able to package on these small handheld devices."

Parlay will make its wireless offering available to its entire customer base.

Wi-Fi often doesn't cost you anything - with the phone you pay call charges. Not only that, but you have to physically dial out - in the right hotspots Wi-Fi automatically connects.

The cellphone is useful for areas where Wi-Fi is not available.

Bluetooth you probably won't need unless you want to use a Bluetooth headset.

And why wouldn't I help... LOL... it's not like you and I are at war or anything...

Jetset - thanks. I had forgotten who was launching it.

The Blackjack still hasn't changed there! Go Bet atleast $10 and see what happens. If you want to be taken for a ride. Then fool with iGobal Media.

davr:

And I quote "I've given you the benefit of the doubt, based on other good reports that I've read at WinnerOnline from KX and others who seem to think iGlobalMedia has really changed for the better." You stated "others who seem to think iGlobalMedia has really changed for the better. My personal experience is that iGlobalmedia has made significant improvements in both customer service and payouts".

I know that they have improved and you stated so In the quote above. I don't need your "benefit of doubt" because I am winning and haved express my experience in this forum. If I was a shill, You would see me posting messages in other forums as well. I only express my winnings to let others know that this casino really pay winnners without all the hassels that other casinos put you through.

If you read this forum daily, you would know that I did not post winnnings in the months of April and May. I only state my winnings at certain casinos to let other players know that there are casinos out there that this is not a rogue casino and that honors your winnings. "IS that sooo wrong?"

You made referance to a double posting that Bryan had to remove. It was no surprise, surprise! ..And it was not due to two indivdual post about the same subject. I accidentally hit the preview and then the post message not knowingly sent out two post in an intent to "spam the board". I even wrote to Bryan informing him of the mistake and he removed it. There was nothing sinsister, nor spamming of the site or even a crimanal plot to "lure" players to this casino and I am not an evil webmester. If I did something wrong, I am sure that Bryan would most certainly let me know it. I wrote to Bryan as to where I should but this Post and he repled quote: "Go ahead and post this in the forum. The recommend this site to a friend has been deactivated and you just found a loose link :)

Sincerely,

Bryan) end quote

I wrote one post about this casino since March and I wouldn't characterize that as spamming. I didn't post anything in April or May because I didn't win. Yes, you are a PLAYER HATER and if you don't know what that means, look it up.........}} :p }}

Hi guys,

I should try to answer all the questions about Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. They are both only network protocols, which means that you use them if you want to transfer files, print, scan etc. between PDA and your PC. It is basicaly same thing as a built in network card, only apart from networking you can connect to the devices like headsets. When you play games on the PDA than you do not need any of these. If you need to plug into the Internet you plug into GPRS or General Packet Radio Service that is 'always-on' in any area.

Dejan
