LONDON -- U.K.-listed online gambling group PartyGaming PLC Thursday reported third quarter sales down 4% year-on-year to $112.7 million, in line with company expectations, and said it remains confident about the full year.
In an update on third quarter trading, the Gibraltar-based group also said its fourth quarter had started strongly, as expected, as the seasonally colder weather drives people indoors and online.
PartyGaming's flagship Poker brand reported third quarter revenue down 8% compared with the second quarter to $45.1 million, as the fiercely competitive online poker environment continued, while sales in its casino operations rose 2% quarter-on-quarter to $49.2 million as each online gaming customer yielded more cash for the company.
