This is pretty weird. If I use our normal wifi connection, casinomeister.com times out most of the times (but other sites work as usual). But if I change to my mobile connection and hotspot that, then casinomeister.com works like charm.

I sent Bryan an email (outside of the forum) to which he responded. (Had to correct a split infinitive there. Bad Teacher!)

Hope he doesn't mind me mentioning this, but it was the dreaded DDOS that hit this site plus quite a few others.

I think it was pro-slavery side's flag. Not really the enemy of USA...just the other half of the USA. I might be wrong though!

I firmly believe that many - if not most - of Trump supporters have serious underlying anger issues due to being the lower strata of society, and how they believe they are diminished and disregarded due to this. Which is why guns are so important to them, as it gives them back the sense of power they otherwise believe they are denied.

Consequently, it is difficult to believe they will be willing to let their Hero go quietly if the November election does not go their way, particularly as Trump himself has form, as per his comments regarding the 2016 election:

"Trump offered a stunning declaration during the final presidential debate that he might not accept the results of next month's election...." BUT "he will accept the results of next month's election if he wins..."

So if he looks as if he is going to lose the election, his final weapon could be calling out all his supporters - and their guns - to protect his position.

Civil war in the making, indeed.

It's just looking at the lockdown protests in the U.S for example, I'm seeing many a gun carried. That's to say, I'm guessing there might be a few non-Trumpians in there, but can't be sure

Any group armed to the teeth, for whatever cause, is a potential threat- in- the- making as far as I'm concerned. Any of these groups could just as easily not carry guns, so attributing threat levels based on political leanings is moot. It just takes a spark

Just like their Messiah... "Dogs that bark, don't bite!" All cowards who are little boys when they don't have their guns. Let an F18 or a gunship fly over their head and start firing a few rounds. The noise alone will chase them off, not the bullets.

But yeah, running around in a government building with automatic rifles is a sign of a civilized and modern society (for the US).

What these protests show though is

- how non-existent the social safety net is in the US
- how the US economy was all but a house of cards built on debt
- and how it will be an even bigger house of cards once it reopens with even more debt
- how most people do not have financial reserves to survive a few weeks or months.

I do find this timeline quite intriguing too because any of it is so far off the truth but typical of Mr T:

- One day it will go away like a miracle - we did a great job
- We have 15 cases, going down, substantially down, close to zero soon - we did a great job
- Could have been 1-2 million deaths, but should be less than 60,000 - what a great job we have done
- The number of deaths could hit 70,000 - we did a great job

The latest:

- "Hopefully we're going to come in below that 100,000 lives lost" - we did a great job.

At what number does it stop being a "great job". 0.5 million, 1 million?

Do Americans feel safer during lockdown being armed i wonder?

Talk of two political groups being armed combined with the mental pressure lots of people will be feeling, consciously or subconsciously, would leave me feeling more vulnerable.

Whilst the UK's politics is as much of a joke and i dont live in the most afluent of areas at least i have not got to worry about my neo-nazi neighbours wielding semi automatic weapons - its for protection though because you cant defend yourself with a Magnum alone, you need the semi's, rocket launcher, tank etc just in case.
