I suppose it depends if they want long term gains or preparing the business for a sale, in which case you would want to bump up as many customers as possible.

Now they have swapped them for 5 netent slot, wich will runt at 98% rtp instead of whatever % they normally run at.

And like op said, this means they have begun cranking out different versions, so its time to start checking before playing.

From the 2019 yearly report, looks like they expanded that to FIN and NOR in 2020, maybe other countries will be added to the list....one can hope!

Making this little increase to 10 games only for certain markets (Sweden and Finland both use PaynPlay concept mostly where there's much less hassle with KYC and fake accounts and in that concept where players think they don't have accounts, most of casinos don't offer any bonuses even for Finish players and average bonus costs per player is more than 1-2% increased TRTP for certain slots, even players only would play these) is probably making some revenue as you get more deposits when you can promote that you have exclusive RTP for certain games which majority of your competitors don't have.

It also can be quite difficult to make accurate judgement based on one evening gameplay, gettin 20-40X winnings all the time is not really only like 2% higher RTP but good luck as well You can end up with really bad session as well with 94% or 98% TRTP, it's not change that much in hit frequency, size of winnings etc...

Happy that you had great session It's tested quite a lot when these different RTP:s started to come real subject for providers and in reality it's extremely tough to see that 2% difference in your gameplay, if you are given same starting balance to same game in 4 different places and one have 2% different RTP, there really haven't been people who could say for sure that this game is running other version than others.

When making these changes to RTP:s, of course game providers want to keep gameplay near as possible what it used to be and if you take 2% off, little from there and little from there, these differences are really not easy to spot for people who play slots a lot or knows them very well after working in industry and testing them a lot.

I recommend to give it a try, let some of your friend to pick you some casinos where you have no idea which RTP is and then try to figure it out by playing without checking help file, i believe is harder what many could think. If you know it beforehand, then you kind of expect different behavior and are tempt to easier to "see" that difference but really recommend to take blind test, can be done with play money as well as they run same version of game than real money.

When did that change?

So from "we give part of our profits back" it has become "we keep part of your winnings". TBH, that pisses me off quite badly because there is nothing coming out of the casino's pocket for your loyalty.

We pay already for the battles/Tuesday Madness with the 2,500XP requirement and now they keep part of our winnings for the Weekend Booster. Wow, that is a real deal-breaker, even for me who defended VS a lot. Unfortunately, I have nowhere else left to play, so I have to chalk it up.

Reason they just didnt remove the whole "weekend booster" thing is that this way, alot of people think they are still getting something back, while in reality they are just getting what they have already won.

Basically trying to sneak in the changes without people noticing.

All in the name of a "more healthy business"



Its probably different depending on from where you play, since some players seem to still have the real weekend booster.
You can opt out of that fake weekend booster if you want tho, and get all your winnings right away without vs taking part of it to pretend to later give you something.
