....Is still underway at Prima. We're in our first break now, and I have a decent stack, 2x the average.

It's a rebuy tournament (I never needed one), and we started with 1363 players. It should go a little faster now that rebuy's and addons are over with.

Right now, I'm 49/974. Not counting my chickens yet, but I'm in the zone ;)

Update next break....

ps: Top 130 get paid.

Good luck to you!

I had registered for it, but then unregistered so that I could play some blackjack in hopes of building up enough of a bankroll so that I could rebuy/addon at least once, but busted trying to get there (bldy fking H!). As a consolation, I kept telling myself that I wouldn't have won or even placed anyway.

 funny...:p

Just took a big hit, but still in the game with a halfway respectable amount of chips to move around..only really need 1 double to get back in the mix of things.

Did I mention I'm the king of short-stack play? :D

And oh yea...never play prima's BJ...it may be MG, but it still sucks!

lol, my top pair of 9s that matched the board against pocket T's?

Oh yea, I can't chat, it's disabled :D

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Could have picked a better hand to move in on, but TJs looked good with a short stack :p

...and they teased me on the flop by giving me an up and down straight draw that never hit :D

i don't think you had a choice given your stack size. you had to make a move there, just a bad break that the BB is sitting on KK. is it me, or was that table you were at tighter than an RTG slot?

Yep, that's why I was stealing blinds every so often. That allowed me to last like 5-6 more rounds even with that small stack....it's not about how many chips you have, it's how you use them ;)

Oh well, I can't complain. I lasted longer than over 700 players including those that had rebuys.

Good job winbig, your play was most certainly respectable considering it was a rebuy tournament..
I would like to see you try not rebuying on pokerstars in a rebuy tournament...
Good luck lasting 5 minutes, all those all ins will really get inside your head! :eek2:
