There are a bunch of new slots at Intercasino. I've got some screenshots and reviews for them but I'm going to break it into a couple of posts to keep it from getting too long.

General Comments:

The new slots open in a separate window and you can resize them.
The default coin value for the new games is now 5 cents per line. This is a huge improvement from the former 1.00 per line that many people (including myself) have complained about previously in this forum.
The games and the artwork are pretty well-crafted. They sometimes suck up a little too much CPU, but it looks like they're trying to balance performance and presentation.

Reel in the Cash

This is a really entertaining, low variance game even though I did see some decent prizes in one of the bonus rounds that I played. There's lots of creativity in the animations and symbols. Little fish swim around the reels. It's very soothing. Even the royal symbols are well thought out and have some mini-animations. I hit 5 bonus rounds in 300 spins on this game. I'm sure I was a little luckier than average by triggering that many, but it was mostly lots of smaller payouts. I had one huge hit-I had upped my bet to 15 cents per line for just a few spins and got lucky. After playing the bonus round, a 3.00 bet turned into 399.00!:D:eek: You get three chances to choose a lure (which is your multiplier) then choose a fishing hole. There are cute animations of reeling in your cash, er catch . They did a nice job of working in some old fishing cliches.

In the main game, when a wild symbol (a golden lure) show up in a winning combination, the royal symbols (that look like fish) have this little 'hypnotized' animation. It doesn't pay more, but it's cute.

I wound up making $400 on this game with 1.00-3.00 bets

Samba Nights

This one hit me up for a whopping $5, but it was a crazy ride. 300 spins on this 50 line 4x5 stacked wild game and it must be pretty high variance. I was up 20, down 30, hit nothing for 5 or 6 spins, then hit big (between 5 and 23 dollars at 1 cent per line). It was all over the map and really exciting. The dancing girl is the wild symbol and plays one big animation if the whole reel is full of wilds. That animation did seem to slow down my poor old CPU a little bit, but when you bet 50 cents and get paid $23 from just a few line wins without a bonus round, it's pretty cool. I wasn't very lucky in the one bonus round I triggered (20 free spins at 2x), getting only $18, but I can see how even a 2x multiplier can help you get a big win in the free spins on occasion. I played a few spins at 5-10 cents per line, but didn't hit anything big-even when I got all wilds in the first reel (see pic below) I got shut out on that spin . I still like the game; it can pay off big, but it's for gamblers.

There's something for everyone with just these two games. A gentle 20 line game with a cool bonus round and a wild, high variance 50 line game with free spins. I'll finish my thoughts on Call of Duty and the other new slot game in a different post.

New Slots at Intercasino II

Here's the second part as promised. I may take a run at the new single and double deck BJ games tomorrow or the day after.

More General Comments:

All the new games have advanced auto-play. It lets you define spins, coin value, and several ways of telling the system to stop after certain wins, bonus rounds, etc.
All the new games that have free spins use a new display during free games. It tells you how many spins you've got left, what your multiplier is, and what your accumulated winnings in the feature are. Very handy when you've got a bunch of free games and want to know how you're doing.
Three game speeds are available in these new games without needing to go to the settings window to change things up. That's really handy although the default seems to be the slowest speed. Personally, I would prefer the middle one, but that's a minor point.

Call of Duty 4:notworthy

In terms of artwork, animations, and bonus round, this game is in 'holy crap' territory in a good way. It looks like they took scenes straight out of the game for symbol animations and for the bonus round. This is a 25 line game with a 1 cent per line minimum. There is a main feature and a mini-feature to chase after. The main one puts you in first-person shooter mode and you get to shoot enemy soldiers. The more soldiers you shoot, the more free games you get. You can also win cash prizes in the bonus round for 'head-shots' to go along with the free games. Sometimes you also get an airstrike that kills the bad guys and gives you a bigger multiplier for your games. The mini-feature happens quite a lot; maybe every 8-10 spins. Basically, some symbol or symbols are converted to wild symbols but how they do it is really cool and well-themed to the game. After the reels stop and before you get paid, a grenade rolls out onto the screen and then blows up. At least one symbol becomes a wild and then you get paid. There is a second method of showing this with a soldier running out onto the screen and slapping explosives onto the reels. He runs away and then the bomb blows up, changing symbol(s) to wild(s) again. I didn't have nearly as much luck getting bonus rounds as I did in some of the other games, but with lots of extra wilds being put on the reels from 'regular' spins, it was a pretty good experience for me. I played the original COD on PC and PS2 a long time ago so it was a familiar brand that they did a good job representing.

Penguins in Paradise

This one was a good game, but not my personal favourite. Penguins in the tropics on vacation is a cute theme that was probably designed to reach a different audience than me :) The penguin symbol is wild and is only on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th reels. That's how the bonus round is triggered too. Your penguin is surfing and has to do two tricks. He is judged by the panel after each one and the max score is 30x bet for each trick (60x total for the bonus game). That seems a little low as a max award, but when you combine it with the three wilds on the reels and add in the line wins from the triggering spin, it's got lots of potential. There is a second, free game feature too. 10 spins at 3x multiplier with re-triggers. I'm sure you'll get some crappy free game totals mixed in with some huge ones due to the small number of games and the 3x multiplier. Try as I might, I couldn't hit the free game feature in about 200 spins. I got the surfing feature twice, but no free games :(

For convenience, I've merged that into this thread. :)

The casino update takes some time to download before the software tells you it's ready to be closed and re-opened to install the new games. Maybe you didn't wait long enough?

Hi Guys,

Firstly thanks for your posts Scooter7 - I'm glad you enjoyed the fun and excitement the new games have to offer. We are due to introduce a few more additions over the next couple of weeks, so you should have more great games to look forward to soon!

In relation to the question from silcnlayc, I can confirm that the last post is 100% correct...players simply need to access the casino software and they will then be prompted by a message asking you to re-open the software in order to install the updates. This may take a little longer depending on your connection but I hope that you are happily playing the games now. If you (or anyone) has any further issues regarding this then please feel free to contact our 24/7 Support Team where the technical staff will be on hand to assist you.

Kind regards,

Tried "Reel in the cash" and deposited 70$ and played 1-2$ spins. Within 20 minutes I had the bonus feature 3 times and cashed out 440$. So Intercasino probably got me hooked on this one.:)
