So all of this is my own stupidity and I'm not looking for sympathy, however, want to warn others about Jammin' Jars 2. I play for entertainment purposes, have a monthly budget and even if I win big, tend to put it all back throughout the month (except for rare occasions where I skim off the top) cos I play to my means, for entertainment.
Jammin' Jars 2, offers zero entertainment. I got lucky the first time I played, 700x stake in total with some 'okay' gameplay on 50p then hit a 1384x Giga Jar feature after 62 discs. The next build (from the Lvl2 Boost) I had some 'okay' playtime till I hit Lvl 4, then it took 800x stake, 3000 spins and 32 discs from Max to hit the Giga Jar, again all on 50p for 84x with one bonus to show for my efforts from Lvl 4 (mental for 3000 spins), again getting a boost to Lvl 2.
I played it slowly after this, the odd 50x stake deposit and built to max, (don't know how much I lost but had 'some' playtime) then thought it surely can't take long to activate this time (apart from the previous 1384x Giga Feature it's not gave much back so must be due something). How wrong I was, from Max, 1800x stake (£900 on 50p stake) and 130 Discs to activate the Giga Feature, which paid 60x and gave yet again a boost to Lvl 2. In this time I had 2 bonuses, both paying less than 10x.
In one sitting from Max, it took 1400x and no win over 40x, for the last 400x deposit (£200 on 50p) I recorded the 'highlights' on Bandicam and got 25 seconds of footage, 2 Fruit Blast Teases, and not even 2 jars teasing once, the 400x lasted 16 minutes in total. How is this entertaining?
I have no doubt it will pay big, and have seen videos, of massive base game hits, great bonuses and bet we will see the 50,000x max wins soon. But in general, this game is horrendous, offers no entertainment and rips through deposits without so much as a 2x win. At the lower build levels it 'can' give 'some' playtime, but once you hit Lvl 4 it closes up. Thankfully up until this, I'd had a good month, so haven't lost too much but can't help think, how much more entertainment I could have experienced had I stuck to other games and will now definitely take a break (only the re-make of Jurassic Park will bring me back early!). This episode has confirmed why I like, and mostly play, the 'old skool' Microgaming and NetEnt slots, where even though I have no chance of hitting 50,000+x, I will get entertainment, playtime and most importantly (getting excited about the occasional 1000x hit) enjoy the games.
So, is JJ2 the most volatile game ever created or did I just get really unlucky? There is no doubt, for the amount deposited and played, I'd have seen more game time, entertainment and wins along the way, even on DOA2, San Quentin, Money train, Chaos Crew... etc.
