My Opinion On "Reversing" a withdrawal

i think that the Jackpot Capital Group made a study or observed from data that more players reverse
payout request than those that do not.
Else what is the logic in waiting 48 hours to process a payment.? In so doing it eliminates the strong willed playerfrom playing at their sites for at least 2days and if you request a payout on a thursday you are shut out for 4 days.

I know for myself, on land based casino or online or at the race track or sports betting, I feel worse if I won and then lost compared to if I just lost it all from the get go.

So now I have withdrawals pending from 2 of their sites (small amounts) and am shut out for the weekend at their sites unless of course I reverse, WHICH I AINT GONNA DO , just on principle alone.
Guess I will just have to watch the stupid all star basket ball BS.

Any comments?

I agree completely. I have pending withdrawls at both Manhattan slots and Lucky Red. I guarantee you they will not be approved before the weekend hits. This time I absolutely REFUSE to REVERSE. This pattern of extreme delay for approval of withdrawls is getting really out of hand and is completely UNNECESSARY.

Stay strong my friend, I know I will...I got plans for my dough this time around.

That is exactly the reason I don't play at JC, the automatic 48 hour pending period. 5 Dimes always flushes my request in a matter of hours, Bovada always pays me in a matter of hours, and CWC is consistent enough to keep my business. So those are the places I play and that's about it.

On that other note you mention about reversing and losing, I agree, nothing makes you more angry at yourself than winning, reversing, and then losing because you know the casinos laughing all the way to the bank.

I also agree that reverse time is just another way to encourage you to play your winnings back into the casino. If you have ever watched the film "Casino", I believe they do something very similar to the Asian High-roller. He is told his private jet needs repairing and ends up going back in the casino and spending everything he won. It's the same principle and there is no other reason for doing it.

My advice is to stay away from casinos who practice an obligatory pending time (as I wrote about here).

Any obligatory pending time is unacceptable in my opinion. It really shows a lack of respect for customers/players.

It is also interesting to see that successful casinos usually do not have any obligatory pending time at all, while less reputable casinos often do. So the longer the obligatory pending time....well, you know

You should be alright on those two shouldn't you? They process every day as far as I am aware so 24hrs tops. Unless they changed the policy for the USA?

One would think....Manhattan request (after my reversal) 2/21 at 10:25 PM CST, still not approved. Lucky Red requested last night (technically today 2/23) at 12:44 AM CST, not approved. I have not had anything approved there lately in less than 3-4 days.

I would be willing to bet that neither will be approved by end of business day on Friday 2/24.

I will get paid, that is for sure...but the waiting SUCKS!

This is what I have learned and applied in all the years I have been playing online. When I win, I move on to the next casino, deposit, play and withdraw if possible, but if not, I know I will have a nice little stash in my account in a few days.

I always leave enough to play for the weekend no matter what. I have had 6 withdraws on Thursday only to wait till Tuesday to receive them trickling in. How did I not reverse any of these? I moved on to the next casino and played over the weekend ignoring those with withdrawals pending.

If you need to reverse your funds, then I feel you have not really made a good enough plan for eventualities that happen such as the weekend that rolls around. Strangely, it does seem a lot of my withdrawals happen on Thursday and Friday. Well, I have ALL the CM's casinos that are listed under accredited downloaded, so I have a few to pick from even if they are from the same group.

Never beat yourself up for reversing. Never blame the casino for teasing you (It only makes one angrier placing blame). Just make a plan, strategize and WIN! Show them you can play the same game....the waiting game..while you spend your monies elswhere..

The casinos really do not understand, if a gambler wants to play they will, and they (the casinos) will be the ones losing out on the monies by the gambler depositing elsewhere..talk about a backward mentality these casinos have.

So, just play it safe, leave it alone, go to another casino if you really feel like playing..and enjoy! One day, the casinos will understand, the faster a gambler gets their money, the quicker they (the casino owners) will recoup any withdrawal made plus some..I still can't figure out why they do not know this??? Must be noobie casino owners JMTFA (Just my thoughts for all)

To continue on with my story of a reversal turned into a win, now turned into a long waiting game:

As I suspected...I get up early this morning (Friday 2/24), all funds are still waiting for approval at both Manhattan Slots and Lucky Red. I hop on to live chat and they proceed to tell me that I have to send in copies of all my credit cards AGAIN along with bank account verification......interesting as Manhattan Slots has paid me as recently as last month and I have been using all the same cards for months now. I go crazy with my scanner and get everything emailed in....hop back on to live chat, everything is received and fine.

Great, can the cashier do my requests today? Here is what the chat rep wrote: "this is in the que as they only have one cashier in the office today, they will try there best to approve this today".

It is now after 4:00 PM in the UK, I doubt anything is going to happen today. Is this a stall tactic, hoping I reverse again? Is it just bad customer service? We'll see.

In the meantime, I have lots of things other than gambling planned for this weekend.

I have in the past reversed, lost and kicked myself. Now I find it's just down to discipline. The pending period is NOTHING BUT an enticement, not a convenience to the player. Similar to high street bookmaker paying you your cash then locking you in for 48 hours so you can't go home and spend it elsewhere. You'll get bored and lose it.
As already said, have different accounts to play (I have pendings at 2 of my 3 casinos at the moment) and find something else to do - read a book or go out, do the garden. The time soon passes.
Try and avoid casinos with more than a 24 hour pending in the first place - this is always the first T&C I search for if tempted to join a new one.
