My key advices when it comes to playing online slots are the following:

...dont gamble! But if you really want to... try this:

1) play with money you do not need at all
2) do not expect to win... ever
3) try to cap your play time by for example playing before going to work / school etc
4) try to play when you dont feel like playing so its less difficult to stop when youbare ahead.
5) dont play in more than 4 casino's and no more than a couple slots in every casino.
6) if you win for example 5 x your initial deposit, play 3 of those 5 in the other 3 casino's (that is increasing your odds of winnings or at least breaking even regularly in different casino's. That while netting 2 deposits! What most slot players are looking for is play time and a few widrawals to make it look like its not only costing money...

What do you CS-ers think about this?

I can get behind a few of those, like 1 through 3, but then you lose me at 4.
I'd say play when you actually want to play, because a good rule of thumb is, when slots are no longer fun/entertaining it's time to pack it in.
Coming to 5, a small handful of casinos is good (or less) as you want to build loyalty, but the amount of slots is irrelevant as they're random.
Onto 6, set you WD agenda, be it 3-5x your dep, or w/e yours happens to be, but I agree it's smart taking out your WD so you're not down should you bust.

1) We all need money, all the time
2) I do expect to win.......sometimes at least!
3) This would mean not leaving my session, I'd be late for work or school!
4) I love playing slots at any time of the day
5) I used to hop slots but like you I now stick to about the same as you
6) This could be useful if I had more discipline.....if I'm up I tend to slightly raise bets and just see it as a bigger bankroll. Should definitely withdraw smaller, more often to fight another day.

Interesting points though Michiel, good to see how others go about their business

1) I agree
2) I agree, but expect to win some of the time and at least break even by the end of the year
3) I think you should monitor your play time so you don't miss out on life
4) Why would you play when you don't feel like it?
5) I have never understood why people have so many accounts at different casinos and have trouble keeping track. I play at 2 all the time and 2 once in a while.
6) I am always happy if I can triple my deposit. Cash out 2 times deposit for another day, and leave my deposit amount to continue playing

Please see mine :) I included your answer/questions and have done my suggestion

But great input from you and feel it is a great thread you have done here leads to some good discussions now. I think and feel lot of us members at casinomeister could use both experienced and even new members or guests. :notworthy

1) play with money you do not need at all

Agree or money you need but can spare and afford losing. Basically see the money you put in as lost from when you start

2) do not expect to win... ever

Exactly do not expect to win as above see money put in as investment or like when you go to cinema you pay upfront but don’t get your money back if it was a shit movie.

3) try to cap your play time by for example playing before going to work / school etc

I agree that could work for some. I used to do this sometimes but ended up having great session etc and would finally get a nice feature 1 minute before having to get out of the door. Instead I would end up having that excitement going through my veins as I could not wait getting home from work and continue hehe. BUT my advise would set a timer if that could work for you maybe say max 1 hour session. Or what I normal try and do if you get a very big win early in session then withdraw most and enjoy. Do small session somewhere else or play with remaining money at that casino. Then play another day instead.

4) try to play when you dont feel like playing so its less difficult to stop when youbare ahead.

Hmm I don’t agree on that on to be fair. As does not matter if you feel like it or not. As soon you see those reels spinning your sold. This one puts you back to 1 and 2 please read my comments there again. Only bring in money you can afford or want to lose. As then you can only stop when that money is gone and not carry on and on.

5) dont play in more than 4 casino's and no more than a couple slots in every casino.

Fully agree. My advice also would be even stop at 1 Casino. Depends on how much money you have total for your session or sessions of course. But let’s say you try out first slot you win over 1000x quite early and maybe win over 500 or over 1000. Then I would say cashout most of it and leave a bit to take of that happy steam.

6) If you win for example 5 x your initial deposit, play 3 of those 5 in the other 3 casino's (that is increasing your odds of winnings or at least breaking even regularly in different casino's. That while netting 2 deposits! What most slot players are looking for is play time and a few widrawals to make it look like it’s not only costing money...

That is okay suggestion but then again. As soon you have lost the first 2x at 2 casinos. And lose the 3rd. Then I know as an experienced gambler that won’t hold or stick. As then I think most would say oh well we might as well throw the remains now and then all might be gone.

I see this suggestion a bit like make a withdrawal and then reverse it back 3 out of 5 parts. So a 500 withdrawal you would take 300 back and gamble with (in one way reverse)

Also please remember you luck does not matter if you spread across different casinos or that same casino. Remember the important part it is ALL LUCK. Each spin can be a winner even big winner and next spin can be a loser. So you saying increase your odds of winning is wrong only one got odds of winning is the casino. But I see your point in above don’t get me wrong.

Doesn't work for me. If i do that i do more stupid bets as time is limited. Actually i do it the other way. I only deposit and play if i have ENOUGH time and nothing coming up immediately.
4) try to play when you dont feel like playing so its less difficult to stop when youbare ahead.
Also doesn't work for me, then i'll do more stupid bets if i don't care
5) dont play in more than 4 casino's and no more than a couple slots in every casino.
Yeah i kinda agree here. Had dozens of casinos but stick toa few know. What i definitely do is ONLY deposit in one casino at once, before i used to deposit in a few casinos where bonus were offered, but this way i also played more stupid.
6) if you win for example 5 x your initial deposit, play 3 of those 5 in the other 3 casino's (that is increasing your odds of winnings or at least breaking even regularly in different casino's. Great input guys, girls...!

About the capped play time, i work in 3 shifts. So i play on different times. Most potential earnings i lose not to reversing withdrawals, but i lose most on the way of realizing i should make a wd, cause my luck ran out a few 100 spins ago.

About the randomness of slots in relation to the different casino's, i should add that i play different casino's because of the specific software offered. I play novomatic at energy, i play wms and playtech at betfair (but i dont cross over between 2 softwares in 1 session) i play netent at casinoluck, microgaming at go wild , rgt at intertops and amatic at poldercasino.

In my experience , all be it not as much as a lot of you, i seem to get a chance of a decent pay out after about 5 to 8 lost deposits on average. I meen that i get my balance over the amount of those last lost deposits by at least 50%.
If i lose 7 times 20 euro, with my 8th deposit, my balance is (again in my personal experience and obviously not allways but enough times to draw my attention) likely to be at 240 euro or more at one point at least.

I like to withdraw and re-deposit better than leaving some playing money on my account. I do that because i think it is more often that your winning streak that lead to the withdrawal, had ended already or was about to end not long after. My most times painfully absent common sense occasionally does seem to have interesting suggestions. So i came to believe that frequency of depositing works more in the advantage of the player, compared to wagered money.
Offcourse that only goes so far, but i sometimes think that there is one big supercomputer that sees and knows everything and acts accordingly.

Oh yeah 1 important thing that i should have mentioned in my initial post:

- when you want to make more deposits at the same casino in a single session... i think it knows you are likely to go on tilt. Especially if you deposit the same amount as the 1st deposit or a higher amount. I really sometimes hit absolutely nothing more than 10x bet in 4 chain deposits and tilting on the same slot.
If i lose my first deposit of 20 euro and then log out and re-deposit for example 16 euro or something like that, i think i have more chance of hitting something as i like to believe im tricking the casino/software in believing that i put in my very last pennies...

Im weird i know
