My 1st Grandbaby

Here is little Anabell Lane, born yesterday afternoon 8/15 at 5.48 PM. I am just beside myself with joy!


She has a little bruising on her eye and forehead that already looks much better today. I think she didn't want to come out yet so she gave her Mom a bit of trouble. Her Mom is doing great and so is she. It's really hard to find the words to express how holding that sweet little thing feels.

I know the feeling, when my daughter gave birth to my grandson I was so happy I was crying, she kept asking me why was I crying and I said to her I am just happy..she is beautiful, cherish every moment with her..God Bless..

Sorry it took so long to offer my congratulations BB. Proud as I am of my grandson, I'm already after my daughter to have a little girl to buy cute stuff for!

One of the real benefits is a new-found closeness with my daughter. Same thing happened for me and my mom too. I think they see us in a different light, and we realize our babies are no longer children. They have gained membership to the parenthood club, and we become more peers.
