The available methods for casino banking is growing short for US residents. Neteller and Citadel/ECheck just dropped US players. Firepay dropped US residents awhile ago. Credit Cards and wire transfers are not available.

What are the best alternatives out of what is left?

I just called Citadel because i got a check for a withdrawal issued from Citadel Commerce last week, but has one more day holding period (per my bank's policy..even if check is from out of state)..so I was worried they wouldn't honor it. Thank goodness they said that it would (anything prior to this date) be honored. But I will officially feel better when the funds are actually available in my account for me to take out.

Only other ones I can think of is Payspark (it has its issues, but I have used the Payspark ATM card to withdraw at a regular ATM), and Click2Pay. You almost hate to list the remaining options in case its viewed by the wrong folks, and they seek them out too..but here's knocking on wood...

No need to hide payment providers.
You do not want to deal with those that are afraid to be mentioned on the boards.

The trick is that there will be fellows who will openly and legaly decline to be related to US laws. Those guys should also be entrusted. i.e. there will be a bank that the money is there in trust.

epassporte has fees to deposit and withdraw. I hated them the brief time I used them. Netspend and Western Union both have fees, right?

click2pay doesn't have any fees, and I've used them a tiny amount (setting up the account was a titanic PITA).

Instadebit doesn't seem to have any fees, but also seems to have low limits. (Just signed up, haven't used them).

Also, some casinos (e.g. bodog) have their own proprietary echeck offerings, which do ACH directly from your bank account.

Cynthia777, I don't know that this is a viable option now since Payspark and Parent CreditCard Services Company ("CSC") maintains www.issuers.com and its related sites are based in Beirut, the capital city of Lebanon... Just wondering if Isreal attacks again would our money really be safe there ?

You can get money into your casino account the trouble I foresee is getting any winnings out. So far my debit card still works and Instadebit which I have been using for several months now.

If you have noticed more and more casinos have been offering Instadebit. Did they know this was coming?

As far as I am concerned I am done until the dust settles. This is way too much hassle.

I totally agree...the hassles and hurdles involved create such a headache..its just not worth it..
the uncertainty of gettin money back is enough to make me stay far away...
but the weird thing is I find myself not that far away:rolleyes:

Probably the best thing to do is take a walk outside and get some fresh air.

When you come back, here are some cool games here you can play for free:

Thanks for those links!

I can't go outside now though...it's rainy with some sleet mixed in.
Nasty stuff!

Are there any options where we do not have to fund it with our bank accounts?

Are there any options where we can transfer directly from Neteller to another payment processor?

well i have decided to take a break from online gambling also. I think eventually all the casinos will ban usa players anyway. Oh well guess i will save some money......yeah right!

Just as a note RobWin, I have used Payspark for many years, back since they were Gaming Card. Their bank has always been in Beirut (Lebanon Gulf Bank), and I've never once had any sort of payment issue with them. I use their ATM card, funds are available right away. The only drawback is that they don't work in real time, like Neteller and Firepay did. They only update their accounts during (their) banking hours. If a casino sent me a payment right now, it probably wouldn't reflect in my account until tomorrow. And they do charge a % fee for withdrawing via debit card, but that's never bothered me as there are fees for everything it seems. I've never waited longer than half an hour for email response to a query. It's always been my EWallet of choice, but of course, it's only an option for Microgaming casinos.

If I use ECheck at a casino, when I cash out (aren't I optomistic?), how are the funds disbursed to me?

I still have $900 in my Neteller account and did go online and request a debit card. The auto reply said 3 wks to process, but I'm not holding my breath.

ECheck is no longer an option for US PackerBacker. These methods are out: Neteller, Firepay, Moneybookers, ECheck and Citadel.

The following deposit options are still available (as of now): Click2Pay and Payspark - Payspark (Micro only) is actually now called EziPay. Also available are Instadebit, EcoCard (funded by Western Union, Moneygram or bank transfer), Western Union and prepaid debit cards (such as Netspend), although I have heard that the prepaid card option will be ending soon.

As to withdrawal methods - Click2Pay, Payspark (EziPay), Instadebit, EcoCard, wire transfer or cheque. If anyone else knows of any others, make sure to add them. Click2Pay and Payspark both offer an ATM card for immediate withdrawal also.

I hear click2pay is best now.

Payspark is undergoing some changes, including a name change and will be much better soon.

Not all casinos withdraw through click2pay yet, but is being implemented. ( they should have thought ahead, geez!!!!)

I wouldn't worry about withdrawals, although they will take longer. The LAST thing casinos want now is to piss you off by not paying out, they are working their butts off making it fast and easy again.

Unbelievable they got caught off guard, they thought they had time til the IGUEA took effect.

Smart move by the DOJ.

I also used them for years until last july when my bank stopped processing my deposits to them. When the first one showed up as declined I called my bank and spoke with a Vice President there and asked why my deposit had been declined and to my surprise I was told that they were informed by the bank regulators to watch for currency exchanges to Beirut since Hezbollah was in the opinoin of the US goverment a terrorist organization and apparently now running the country. :eek2:

You probably would not be affected by this since you live in Canada and not the US but for US players Payspark like I said earlier will most likely not be a viable option.

Dom, how will they (Payspark) be much better soon ? By changing their name ?

It's becoming very apparent that the last great viable hope for US players to deposit at online casinos will either be Western Union or by simply mailing a Check !

Jeeze.......

I just made an attempt to sign up at Click2Pay. Guess their server is overwhelmed. I filled in the first page of the registration form, clicked 'continue', it said 'verifying data' then 'page cannot be displayed'. Just great. Refreshed and it brought up the original blank form. So if I go and do it all again do they think I'm trying to make two accounts? Did any of the info process? Will they contact me? Do I need to contact them?

Screw it. I'm too tired and angry to puck with this chit tonight anyway.

If you didn't get to the page where it asked for your bank information, the original account was not created, and you can start over fresh without worries.

No I understand that they are a work in progress and were trying to be ready when the UIGEA deadline came, but were taken by surprise and aren't ready yet.

Just talk I picked up...
