Misleading Deposit Limit & Poor Customer Support

I set a £1,000 monthly deposit limit with LiveScore Bet, yet in April 2025 I was able to deposit over £4,600. I later discovered they now use a "net deposit limit" (deposits minus withdrawals), but this change was never clearly communicated. Their website still says: “You can set a limit on the amount you deposit,” which is misleading.

After raising my concerns, I was locked out of my account, missed my usual account call, and received very limited support. I’ve asked for a full response and plan to escalate to an ADR and the Gambling Commission if unresolved.

Gamblers deserve clear, transparent protection tools — not confusion.

Absolutely they do!

This kind of thing has always happened, sham deposit limits which are really loss-limits misdescribed as DLs.

Basically this is in bad faith and specifically designed to prevent players from winning and staying ahead for the remainder of their deposit limit period.

A deposit limit is a deposit limit - irrespective of whether you win or lose, withdraw or profit.

This kind of thing really boils my **ss as it's prejudicial to responsible gambling.

There was another hoohah about this recently in this thread:

And historically there are many others here.

This is a problem in the industry as operators don't have a clear definition. It's great that the gambling commission have picked up on it and they are currently running a consultation on the matter:

On a more personal note, I was shocked that my existing deposit limits changed to net deposits with more than one operator. Granted, I got an email to say "Woohoo, our deposit limits just got better" or similar, but I was suprised that they could alter how the basics worked on a tool that I use to control my spend.
