I've already read it and you are starting to come over in a bit of a condescending manner towards experienced casino players here.
I do not inherently disagree with you having a non withdrawable bonus but I think it takes advantage of players when using it does not count towards the bonus. This is something that another casino do,the name escapes me for the moment and I avoid them like the plague too.
Possibly you're thinking of Royal Panda?
Although they don't have any cap on bonus winnings, and the only restricted games, when playing with bonus funds, are the usual suspects, eg DOA, uncharted seas etc...

Yes,it was Royal Panda. Thanks for the help. Am I correct in saying they too don't count wagering with bonus money as counting towards bonus wagering?

i just tried again, only my dl and it failed, the 2 file sizes are 0.6mb and 1.6mb
Most photos from a phone are going to be over 2mb, its not 1995, I really think you should increase the file size limits!

Dear @colinsunderland

We can see where you are coming from and we certainly do not live in 1995 anymore. The 3MB limit and file format is dictated by the 3rd party verifier of KYC documentation. If our compliance team is in doubt of a document, we send it through automatically and we have to abide by this file format and size limit.

Also, with these awesome smartphones these days a single image can easily be up to 7MB (believe us we get them over email often). With a front and back image, proof of address etc... you can imagine the storage space required with a few 100K players.

We are not sure why the upload is not working from your end – we rarely come across players that have issues with this. However, let's see if we can do it differently. Would you be able to email the doc to us (at support@midaur.com) and we can see if we can accept the submission in this instance? Alternatively, you could also make your first deposit in which case we will pay for automatic verification of your account ;)

All bonus hunters should be shot on the spot when claiming a bonus. I get it, you need to be competitive whilst also protecting yourselves. It’s good that you don’t bull shot around this fact and are honest about this.

I’m quite strange.

If I don’t like the name of a casino I won’t play there, is that silly? lol

Rob :)

Thank you for your feedback @JGslots

If it is silly not to play at a casino from which you do not like the name… We are not to judge :)
I personally don’t like bananas – that might be silly too :D

Have a great day!

Dear @johnnymcc1966

Apologies, we do not mean to be condescending, however, we feel the same way about your comments. Yes, there are casino’s that allow you to roll over a bonus with bonus wagering – we have also seen their marketing expenditure. The big boys in the industry can suffer this against their solid volume of high rollers. Also – by now all bonus hunters already have or had an account with them so they took their losses in their early days.

Have you seen all the no bullsh*t / no bonus casino’s coming up lately…? There is a reason for that. New casinos can simply not afford the stream of hundreds of thousands of bonus hunters that jump on them soon as they offer bonuses with the terms you are suggesting. New casinos who do try to compete with that are not around for very long. It’s a shame that a lot are still manipulated in doing so...

We like our job and know our corporate governance is well up to par to compete with all the big boys – aside from these charity events of course...
You have a great day also sir!

I am unashamedly a bonus hunter because I don't have a lot of spare cash but like to play the slots.I suspect most of your potential customers, those you need to run a successful business, are pretty much the same as me. If you want to tempt us,or you may not need us as you are already highly successful? Please continue as you are. You speak about the big boys as if they operate in a different business to you but they are your rivals and those you need to attract customers from. So you need to find a way of doing this by whatever means possible. In my humble opinion,in your current format you will most likely not do this with your current model.

Best wishes.

Just reread this thread.

May as well make a comment.

Nice to see new casino's going for accreditation .But Normally a baptism of fire the casino is happy to get feedback good and bad and would try and use it to becoming better and more competitive. But in this case it seems the Rep is not really interested in the feedback. Why you keep referring to post #38 i do not get. I have read that a few times and personally the whole tone of that post would make sure that casino was last place i would sign up to.

But i respect your opinion and your reasons for posting the way you do and good luck with the Baptism and hope your casino is successful.

Dear @paul7388

We certainly appreciate all feedback, good and bad. When we entered the Baptism we were looking forward to receiving feedback on our website and services. Yet we get annihilated for not giving away money for free. If you read the forum topic, it is suggested we offer bonus structures that will result in a massive loss for the casino. How can this be constructive feedback? How can we become more competitive if the results will make us go bust?

The tone of comment #38 is an attempt to steer away from the reviews that are trying to force operators to become cash cows for bonus hunters.

Again, we welcome all feedback and as you can read from the topic, we are taking it on board positively. Unfortunately, we cannot commit to changing our welcome bonus structure.

We keep referring to our loyalty system and all the other rewards our regular depositing players receive. However, this seems to be ignored.

Thank you for respecting our opinion and your best wishes. We respect your opinion also and wish you a great evening ahead. :)

Oh ya that's some real amazing responsible gaming. Come deposit and get verified the UKGC demands it!!

And why you sending that to Canadians who do not fall under the UKGC?

Shameful.

The bonus system is actually a HUGE advantage, to anyone who deposits a reasonable amount, and would normally play without a bonus.
Make a first deposit, to take the maximum bonus (£600).
Play the deposit through. But don't play any of the bonus money (Ie, don't try to increase it, especially with those few games available)
Carry on depositing, as you would have done anyway, being a cash only depositor.
The next thing you know, you've got £600 cashback.

So basically giving free cash away to those who would normally have been playing with cash deposits anyway

I might be reading it differently

  1. Players will qualify for each stage of the bonus only after the previous stage is completed. A stage is completed when a player unlocks the bonus available by completing the wagering requirements, or the player depletes their bonus funds by playing them all, or the bonus expires or is cancelled
  2. Players must opt-in to each stage of the bonus and must claim each stage of the bonus via the bonus section of their account
  3. Each stage has a maximum bonus value of £/$/€ 200.00 and offers a maximum bonus win of £/$/€ 400.00. The bonus is awarded and locked in a player’s bonus account. The rollover requirement is 40 times the initial bonus amount received at each stage
  4. The bonus awarded has no monetary value and only real money wagers contribute to the rollover
  5. The real money bonus is awarded if the bonus “requirements are met” (thus unlocking the bonus) and the real money bonus is equal to the bonus balance at the time that the bonus is unlocked, with a maximum of £/$/€ 400.00
  6. Any funds over the maximum win value will expire upon unlocking this bonus

13. General bonus Outdated URL (Invalid) apply

oh, im not saying youre wrong
im just saying im confused :D

like, what's wrong with d+b X WR, or B X WR :p
it's easy to get confused, since there appears to be 4 different offers listed in the bonus terms
5x 200% upto $£200 bonus (which is what I think you quoted)
100% upto $£500
150% upto $£50
300% upto $£600

I'll be honest, I have absolutely no idea how the bonus works. To me the terms are unclear, and its fine saying you don't want to go bankrupt, but if no one understands the bonus, that isn't going to be any good for anyone.
Theres a lot of comments in here by players who have been playing for years, who understand bonuses and how they work, and even they can't agree on how this one works.

Thank you for all the feedback guys.

I think this forum should change its name to Bonus Meister.

Everything regarding bonuses has been said. We will only respond to feedback regarding our casino going forward. Any comments on welcome bonuses – please refer to the previous responses. In particular, @brianmon has a clear understanding and as a depositing player can appreciate our systems. Kudos to you sir!

Have a good weekend everyone!

Dear @BillyBonanza

If you are never going to deposit why would you register in the first place?

The UKGC enforces its compliance over the company as a whole and not just to the UK players. This is called corporate governance and social responsibility which should not distinct or contradict.

Have a great day ahead! :)

Sure, take a shot at the majority of the player base.. what could possibly go wrong?

As I see it, what has been pointed out is the very answer to "Why would you even sign up if you weren't going to deposit"

The sign-up is to get a feel for the site, check out the bells and whistles. Kick the tires, read the driver's manual, inspect the safety features and then decide if it's going to be something you want to drive off in.

If the focus is on a specific area of the site from many angles and walks of life, what you've actually received is strong feedback on people on the site who never convert into customers. Those metrics should be rather valuable.. you know, if you were actually seeking to improve your offering rather than defend it from a position of knowing better than those who ultimately are the only true measure of success.. potential future depositors/detractors.

Cheers!

With respect, the entire point of this thread is for member concerns and feedback. Irrespective of whether you choose to address any more bonus concerns, members are certainly entitled to and no doubt will continue to express them; and how you address those concerns will have a strong bearing on how well you're received here by players or potential players
Ok, nice shoutout to brianmon, nice guy and all, but that sounded really dismissive to players who may not yet fully understand the system. Because you've pointed out one happy player/member, sod to the rest?

CM are a tough crowd - it doesnt get easier and there's very, very savvy members here with their fingers on the pulse of gaming and a good metric going forward.

Just to add because you've highlighted your own post so I wanted to touch on a couple things
bolded in your quote

Dear all,

Although we really appreciate all the feedback, there seems to be something detrimentally wrong with a lot of these online discussions.

An online casino provides gambling services over the internet. Gambling in a casino gives a punter the chance of winning a part of the stake of others. The casino receives a rake in return which contributes to the significant cost that is involved in providing the service. In general, the cost of providing the services are less than the rake collected. As such operating, a casino can often generate a profit.

There are a significant number of variables that make a casino good or bad. The offering of games and suppliers, payment methods, arrangements of player fund protection, navigation and speed of the site, the speed of the game rounds, the verification processes, customer service, general terms and conditions, customer interactions, loyalty and marketing communications to name but few.

Yet when we browse this and other forums, the vast majority of all comments and feedback is related to bonusing. No casino in the world is set-up to give away free money. There are always terms that protect a casino, most of the times hidden away in small print. For some reason, these are the ones that get cheered and the transparent ones bullied. If a casino was offering bonuses on the terms demanded on forums they would not be around for very long. Giving away money for free is just not a viable business model.

Comments stating that bonusing should allow a player to “try out” the casino games are fair enough. However, this option, available in the same way at nearly every casino is called “Play For Fun” Now again there is something rather strange. If it is so essential to gamble and try out the casino why is it so often referred to that this is achieved by playing the games? The games are not different from other casinos. A Scientific game at casino A is the same Scientific game at Casino B. In this case, we would refer to rate the game developer and not the casino.

The only way you can rate a casino is by making a real money deposit, navigate over the site, verify your account, review terms, check out loyalty programs and interact with customer service. Scavenging the web looking for offers that can earn you a free buck and shouting at casino’s that don’t give it to you is something from another level.

We would like to continue this Baptism of Fire and receive some feedback on our casino operations as we are growing tired defending the fact that we are not a charity.

there's those as are only interested in bonus hunting, sure.
But I'll put me up here as an example.
Using a welcome bonus lets me try games (and I've still to beat WR - this isnt just had over fist gifting here) and a chance to run through some games, check and read Ts and Cs to understand them etc. and go through the process of seeing how well the casino also works with the player..
Was it a smooth deposit?
Were the terms clear?
Was it easy to dep?
Was game X at your site loading vs game X at casino B/how's their interface/integration/site/navigation
How was the WD process?
Was support/rep helpful or not?
These all let ME know going forward if this is a casino where I'll hang my hat.

And the entire Baptism by Fire to address all these and player experiences. I think you're being a bit hard on players here. Would it not behoove you to simply say, ok, maybe some players aren't quite getting it - maybe WE arent quite clear articulating it, let me rephrase that :)

Dear @TheAverageGuy , @dionysus and all others,

Sorry for being a bit hard on the players here – it is never our intention to upset anyone. :(

We will explain how our bonuses work.
  1. When you claim a bonus on your deposit you will receive the bonus fund in a segregated wallet.
  2. You can use the bonus fund to play on the slots under the bonus tab.
  3. Bonus wagering does not contribute to the rollover requirement.
  4. When you make real money wagers you will start collecting points that count towards the rollover of the bonus.
  5. Once you have collected enough points the bonus will automatically be added to your real money fund.
  6. You can follow the progress of your bonus in the “active bonus” section of your account.
  7. If you make subsequent deposits or withdrawals your bonus remains active.
  8. Most bonuses have a cap (i.e. a maximum amount that can be withdrawn when the rollover has been completed)
  9. Claiming a bonus is not an obligation.
Users will also collect loyalty points on deposits and wagering. These loyalty points can be converted for cash in the loyalty section of the account.

Midaur offers its depositing players multiple bonuses every week.

We sincerely hope that this explains and removes any doubts regarding the terms.

Have a great weekend all!

apologies if this sounds condescending but it's intended as a compliment.
See -that came across much more player-friendly than referencing a previous post; patiently re-explaing, reiterating your system...and even a smile giph to boot :)

I still think term 8 if I'm understanding it, is an unfriendly term.
Most bonuses have a cap (i.e. a maximum amount that can be withdrawn when the rollover has been completed)
I dont understand a WD cap if I've turned it over; once WR has been met and converted and it becomes real funds, I'd think then, are fine to build or lose as I saw fit.

Have a good weekend everyone!

wow.
Heres the thing, I haven't made a deposit because I don't understand the welcome bonus. Nor do others, and on a forum full of experienced players, that should tell you something.
I am not a bonus hunter, I would estimate 90% of my deposits are not made with a bonus, and I refuse most. I can share screenshots to prove that. I do however, take welcome bonuses, as it gives me a feel for the site without risking much of my money, and if I don't like something then it hasn't cost me much.
I also had issues with uploading ID, as you know, so that makes me even more glad there is a welcome bonus, as before I have even made a deposit I have had problems.

However your attitude in the thread makes it very clear you don't like people taking bonuses, which begs the question, why bother offering them if you don't want people to use them?
I won't be depositing at your casino, as clearly by taking the welcome bonus you wouldn't want me to anyway. You should maybe rename it to a 300% unwelcome bonus.
