To all the reps out there for Microgaming I would like you to pass this to whom ever would give a crap.

The last few months I have been playing at a variety of Microgaming casinos including 32 red today. In total I have cashed out $600 over this time.

However people are starting to notice what Microgaming does with their new games. The whole "crack method" is getting old and getting old very quickly. Each time a new game comes out it seems to be very hot. Winners winners winners. Then you get sucked into it and play it a few weeks down the road and all of a sudden? Yup, very very cold.

The most famous examples of this are Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck 2 and Immortal Romance but of course there are others machines in which the "crack method" are applied to.

I won't make this post a long trolling post about how I'm losing and think Microgaming sucks because I don't. I enjoy Microgaming the most of any casino software. I just want management who read this thread to realize that players do notice the change. If you are going to reduce the pay out and bonus rounds of a fairly new slot ( apply patch ) then perhaps do it without being so obvious.

No player should spend $200-$500 and not get a single bonus round. That's not bad luck, that is in fact a software provider getting greedy.

Cheers

The OP mentions 3 slots so he must have tried them all and continue to be dumb twice after tasting the first one yet went back craving for more. In saying no player should endure $200 - $500 worth of spins without a bonus round this doesnt make sense unless we know what the average bet size is.

So you're done with MG now? I certainly would be if I thought they were doing what you describe.

The OP said he enjoys MG. He didnt say anything about being done. Its kind of a cookie cutter response. I expected more creativity from you.

OP it sounds like your upset at the bad run. I do however like your creativity in the post. I actually wish i could find one of those New release slots that pay out real good when they first get released. I cannot recall ever getting on a hot streak, and I normally play new slots right when they get released. It sucks your on a bad run. I know these words dont help, but we all get on these bad runs. I myself have thought of everything from lighting strikes on servers to the devil trying to teach me a lesson on my bad runs, so I guess the whole "patch" thing isnt completely out there. The one thing i can assure you though is that someone from MG wont read this and turn the slot on "hot". I wish it was that easy sometimes.

PS. I would probably be a lot less in the hole if it only cost me $200- $500 to get bonus rounds.

Are you sure it's not just new games being released, attracting a lot more players...a lot of players = a lot of losers AND and a lot of big winners. :)

Every time a new game comes to our land based casinos we experience the same initial "looseness" One, however, must realize that the new game is being promoted and then will return to operating within it's programmed payout percentages. It ain't rocket science. You just have to learn to back out when you notice the downturn, or stop investing so much in it,then move about the casino playing different games. Where a hot machine can stay that way for a period of time, so can a cold one. Common sense should tell us that when we are losing there comes a point where you must concede that there is no benefit in further investment and move on. If ya aren't happy with it, don't play it.

I'd give my left one to be able to play at Microgaming, compared to the crap we have in the USA. At least they have controlled RTP's which are consistant across the board with no room for hanky-panky and rogue operators, at least they don't last for long, if they are, unlike Virtual and the others. I also like the fact that MG posts their payout percentages as audited by PWC. RTG can tell you that they payout a certain percentage, but they post no real evidence of it being so and I mostly doubt what the operators tell us. Can anyone prove that the absolute lowest payout setting on RTG is 91.5% and that setting is seldom used?

If what you write is true, and I do agree with it, then MG can change the RTP of any game at any time for any player.
This also means that results are generated by RNG makes no sense.

This also explains, that after 1 big win (where the meaning of "big" depends from the player), you get thousands of low paying spins , whatever game you play (VP, slots, etc). Many players have already experienced this and complained about it.

Another thing I noticed is that RTP is depending on coin size : the lower the coin size, the bigger the RTP.
I have checked it hundreds of times. For example play a slot at 1.35c and no wins at all, then lower your bet to .45c and suddenly you will see the difference.
This does not mean that one cannot win with high coin size,(winning screen shots do prove it) only it will be less frequent due to the lower RTP.

Sorry, but that is absolute nonsense. I have time and again been playing any slot at low bets, hitting absolutely nothing, raised my bet and hit big, ending up with some pretty good withdrawals.
So that theory of yours does not hold water.

Actually, you are correct. My experience is that the exact opposite happens with RTG. All casinos have the "sweet spot". I have found some slots at landbased casino are not paying at, say, a 50c bet, but they are paying quite well at 75c.

Thankyou :)

The op pretty much stated that MGS was deliberately setting the RTP higher at the beginning and reducing it after a while....all in secret. If I thought a casino was being dishonest like that I would be outta there like a shot. The fact the op is going back implies that they don't put much credence in their own theory/opinion, so I'm hardly inclined to am I?

Regardless........

......the RTPs of MGS slots are hard-wired and cannot be altered. Hence, how much you bet means nothing in relation to RTP.

Any difference in results between bet levels is down to variance and the number of spins made at each particular level. Unless one has recorded and analyzed every session, it is impossible to state with any morsel of accuracy what one's RTP is for each bet increment.

As stated previously, these threads are never started by members who feel they are winning too much....and, if some are to believed, this is exactly what was happening. Make of that what you will.

I don't have an issue with someone being upset about losing, but suggesting foul play with not even a scrap of evidence is another story....especially when they're happy to go back.

Actually I would guess that MG and other providers do release a game with a slightly better RTP then lower it. Seems logical to do that and not a lot different to land-based casinos putting machines with higher RTPs near the entrance etc.

However, I reckon the RTPs the games revert too after a period are still decent (and better than land based). For example, Thunderstruck II will probably be around 96.65% and Thunderstruck around 96.00% wherever you play.

Now for something a little controversial:This is not directed at MG or any software.

Say a game was released and and the rtp was alot higher than expected and the casinos were taking large losses on the game because of this, if they complained to the software provider would the provider lower the rtp below normal to recoop the losses and then set it to the correct rtp.

And it can stay cold a lot longer than hot :D
Just look at those 999 temperature slots. Like sneak a peek and tigers eye.
They have been on it for quite some time. I wonder how many people have spilled their beans on those two.

You just have to be aware of the fact that if it hasn't paid out yet, it might happen any second or take months. So don't chase your losses.

Wagerworks casinos openly publish RTP percentages on the paytable info - and they make loads of money.

They are made to take more money than they give.

It's incredible how often this comes up.

Get over it.

I've actually found the opposite is true in my case at least. MG releases a new game and I try it and get slaughtered. Once it cools off a bit for everyone else, I can usually squeeze a few wins out.
