I miss Microgaming slots

I loved Microgaming slots, my go to games use to be Immortal Romance, Thunder Struck 2 and Playboy etc.

I get that Games Global has them now, but they aren't the same. They look tired and old. I don't know whether its because its different via Games Global or whether they just don't stack up against the new slots with all the whizz bang graphics etc. Perhaps I am just being a bit sentimental.

I liked MG slots as the features were good, there was potential for a big win and they weren't overly complicated like the slots now which cost 5000x to buy.

Anyone else have the same vibe.. or am I just an old dinosaur.

i totally get you.

i loved "glory of rome" "age of discovery" and "supe it up" back in the days.

back then i also got great bonus offers from the various casino rewards group casinos but these days are long gone :(

I have been playing some old MG slots the last few days. Dr Watts Up, Wild Orient, Fish Party, Alaskan Fishing and managed to get a decent balance to play other games.

Graphically there were many bugs seen. Whilst playing Girls With Guns the free spins counter and reels were stuck for the entire bonus round but managed a 800x win without actually seeing what happened!

Hound Hotel had big sound issues in the base game and Deck The Halls displayed 7 scatters on a bonus trigger which isn't actually possible.

Yep - same :(

Back in the day, their slots were what I called "Reely Random"
i.e. Each reel had a fixed strip of symbols, and each position had an exactly equal chance of landing.
More below...

The modern HTML5 versions LOOK almost the same, but they have probably been converted into "gimped scratchcard" type games - like all other modern slots. This gives operators the ability to very easily change the RTP - something that was impossible with the original designs.

Myself and others spent countless hours plotting out all the reel strips, and some clever CM members wrote programs to calculate the exact theoretical RTP, based on the above criteria.
And they were spot on

You should be able to still find massive threads on this subject in the archives of CM...
e.g. Cracking the slot reels - Here you go! - Casinomeister Forum

I published a whole bunch of our results on my now defunct site, Slotbeaters.com.
But you can still view the pages on Way Back Machine.

Here is the first (and best) MG slot that we analysed...

^^^ This and many other member input based ideas could and SHOULD be a right money spinner with someone out there willing to put in the work (and deep pockets to start with)

The missed and much loved games
Fast spinning no nonsense action
True and fair RTP, 95%+
No bonuses or FS to keep costs down
I'll stop here but the list goes on, you get the general idea.....

Set this up and run it with fairness and honesty instead of greed, prove over time it does what "it says on the tin" and you'll create the gaming experience we all love and miss and a very loyal customer base.

I find it really hard to win on the slots nowadays and yeah I had a 1000x win a couple of months ago but that doesn't negate the months of deposits and endless deadspins that occur 99% of the time. I don't bother with nolimit or hacksaw. I refuse to buy bonus buys and the buys on those providers are fucken horrendously expensive to buy. Its why I liked Microgaming and even Netent. Deposits seemed to last

A few years ago, I could go to live chat, ask for a bonus and they would give it without issue. That's changed and barely get anything nowadays.
