CASINOMEISTER'S PRESS RELEASE:
1 April 2010
For immediate release
MAX DRAYMAN CONCEDES, ANNOUNCES NAME CHANGE
In a surprise move to placate the legions of confused Casinomeister members Max Drayman, Casinomeister Pitch-A-Bitch Manager and Forum Moderator, has agreed to change his name. 'Max Doobeedooman' will become the new, official moniker.
"It's been a tough year for me," Mr. Drayman confessed recently, "I'm rather fond of my name, as you might imagine, but it's obviously difficult for many of our clientele. I think the change will come as a big relief to all the membership that have been troubled by what is obviously a real challenge for them."
In recent months Casinomeister has been assailed with a flurry of errors and misunderstandings regarding Mr. Drayman's name. 'Max Droinam' and 'Max Drignan' have variously been named as being official staff at Casinomeister, not to mention 'Matt Derma' and 'Maz Damya' which caused no end of confusion with the many casinos the Pitch-A-Bitch manager is required to liaise with on a daily basis.
"It's been a problem for the Casinomeister brand," said Bryan Bailey in an official statement to online press agents, "especially as we expand into new market areas. I'm grateful that Max is willing to take this bullet for the team." When asked how the new name had been decided Bailey confessed that his children had been a great help in the process but the details would not be disclosed at this time.
Max Doobeedooman will continue with the same portfolio that he'd been assigned under his previous name. Casino representatives are requested to begin using the new name at their earliest convenience.
The 'Max Drayman' name will be officially retired at Castell Coch near Cardiff, Wales on the 30th of April, 2010 where a plaque will be mounted to commemorate the occasion. Castell Coch is located in Tongwynlais, north of Cardiff, and is built on the original site of the ancestral home of the Drayman family.
