I think I'm just going to delete these guys from my computer. I cashed out once before but it was a long and arduous process and took many weeks - with them always insisting they hadn't recevied any of the info I sent them. Now they're at it again:

I got a $30 bonus from them and used it. Won about $700. Played a little down and decided to cash out at $500. Looked at my account the next day which indicated they "Approved" a cashout of $221.34 but kept $300 in my account (OK - that's 10X the bonus - I figured that was about right). When I contacted them today to ask where my check is , at first they told me I had to request it again. And guess what? None of their cash-out options are available to me! As a US resident I can't use Neteller or any of those - and the courier check option has a minimum of $300. So I contacted them again - and now the story changed. They told me I did not have anything to cash out. That they took the $221.34 as some sort of refund on the bonus, and left me the $300 - which I played down.

I sent the rep a screeenshot of my account which clearly says "approved" - she told me that's not what it really meant. What a bunch of b.s.

Here's what it says onmy account:

/30/2011 3:49:24 AM Play Bonus Removal Withdrawal Approved! ($221.34)
9/30/2011 3:49:24 AM Play Bonus Removal Withdrawal Requested ($221.34)

I'm sorry but these guys deserve to be in the rogue pit.

I don't understand your issue. You cashed out the whole amt, they removed the bonus and left you with the 300 which was the correct amt, but you played it away instead of hitting the cashout button again. Seems to me that all you would have had to do would be to hit cashout on the 300, right? Instead you played it back.

That's how I understand it too...they removed the 220 something bonus, and left the 300 in your account to withdraw....but you chose not to. How is the casino to be blamed for that ?
It clearly says "Play Bonus removal withdrawal approved", which means they removed the bonus money, and the rest is yours to do whatever you want with, as far as I know.

Thats an unfair statment. I have never had a problem here. Actually I have more cashouts at manhattan than any other Clubworld casino. It looks like you requested the wrong amount. Its only 10x. So they put it back and needed you to request it. Unfortunatley you played it back. Rather than delete them, or suggest they are rogue you should not play until you fully understand all t&c's of playing and cashing out. I do understand that it does get confusing with RTG, and one minor mistake could delay your cashout. That is all RTG casinos. You really need to do research to make sure mistakes dont happen. Heres a tip, what I do is alway make sure I cashout only the amount I am able to withdraw. If my balance is $1500 and my bonus is $300 I cashout $1200. I then check it a day or so later to make sure it is approved. If there is any balance left in my cashier I know not to touch it. So basically, make sure do you calculations of how much you can withdraw when you make a deposit, so if you do win and can cashout you do not make a mistake. If you have to, write it down, but you can also refer to the transaction history in the cashier to look at deposits and bonuses.

I am not sure what they are trying to say? Could it be that they approved the withdrawl then took it back? I have no clue.

I think the OP is trying to say that

1) He received a $30 free bonus with a 10x max cashout
2) He tried to withdraw $500 +
3) The casino removed the amount over $300
4) Instead of then processing the cashout, the casino returned the "withdrawable" $300 to the players balance
5) The player, confused by what happened, proceeded to lose the $300

I think the casino should pay the player $300. He tried, in good faith, to make a withdrawal. But the real kicker is this ... there was a $300 max cashout. The player got to $300. He had absolutely nothing to gain by letting his balance drop below $300. Therefore, I think it's safe to say that the only reason why he lost the money was honest confusion over the removal of the amount over $300 and return of that amount to his available balance. The casino was on a complete freeroll here. I don't think they deliberately meant to create a freeroll situation, but they nonetheless did.

Club world should recognize that the player made an honest mistake which they contributed to by not processing the requested withdrawal. Given that the casino had absolutely nothing to lose, they should honor the original withdrawal request and pay the $300.

9/30/2011 3:49:24 AM Play Bonus Removal Withdrawal Requested ($221.34)

The player should have understood that after a withdrawal there would be no money left remaining. After you cashout they do not go and leave the bonus there for you to continue to play. He requested the wrong amount. $500 withdrawal is not within the terms of the 10x max cashout. They then put a free and clear balance in his account that he was free to do what he wanted, cashout or play it. Do you really expect the casino to pay him back? If they did that they would be out of business. This mistake happens all the times by players. The player didnt pay attention to the details he tried to cashout too much. he above details in quote only show the bonus money being removed and shows nothing of a cashout being approved. Here is an example of a bonus being removed and a cashout being processed.
9/30/2011 3:48:21 AM CHK - SP Withdrawal Approved! ($1,200.00)
9/30/2011 3:47:47 AM CHK - SP Withdrawal Requested ($1,200.00)
9/30/2011 2:56:49 AM Play Bonus Removal Withdrawal Approved! ($600.00)
9/30/2011 2:56:49 AM Play Bonus Removal Withdrawal Requested

The bottom lines are bonus being removed the top is the withdrawal actually be approved.

Why don't you go ahead and explain how a casino is going to go out of business by paying players once their balance reaches the maximum amount that they are allowed to cashout (assuming of course that they've hit playthrough).

You had said that the casino should pay him back the $300 he just lost. The money is gone, it was spent. The point is if a casino refunded the money a player "accidently lost" they would be doing it all the time. This mistake the player made happens often. Players would end up extorting the casino. I can hear it now "Mr casino you didnt process my cashout correctly, I didnt know I wasnt suppose to play the balance in my account. I didnt mean to lose it. Please refund my balance." I hope I am making sense. Playing and cashing out according to terms sometimes requires a lot of research, but if you are going to gamble online you need to make sure you understand T&C's.

I don't see why the casino should pay the money back, that OP chose to gamble, and lose, instead of withdrawing it.
OP said that the minimum amount for a check was $300, the excact amount they had available for withdrawal, so all they had to do, was request the withdrawal.
You could possibly argue, that the casino could make it simpler, so that if you withdraw more than you're allowed to, they simply remove the amount over, and process the allowed amount...but that's clearly not how it works.

I have made countless w/ds from CWC casinos, sometimes from deposits with bonuses and a couple from free chips. I always enter the full amount withdrawable and let them deduct what should not be mine eg uncashable bonuses. They initially send you an email declining your whole w/d and then manually approve what you can withdraw. Unless the docs are not in order they dont normally reverse it back to your account. The op should not be blamed for not inserting the correct amount ie $300 as surely the cashier can work it out. Most probably the cashier messed up things again and took it that the docs were not in order. This happened to me several times at All Star Slots where they reversed all w/ds to my account every time although docs were in order. The op has to shoulder some of the blame for playing it back as he could have kicked up a big fuss if he won much more from the $300 and requested a larger cashout. However, Manhattan Slots should take some of the blame for unilaterally reversing the $300 which prompted the op to play it back. After their mistakes though I didnt play the money back they had the courtesy of awarding me free chips on several occasions for the hassles. I believe they might do the same this time.

I seriously disagree, however, that they should be thrown into the rogue pit though their course of action is highly undesirable.

No ... what you are saying makes no sense

No, the OP did not gamble with the $300. Gambling implies risking money with a potential to win something. The OP had no chance to win anything. He already had the maximum withdrawable amount in his account. The OP had no chance to win anything else. The only party with a chance to win was the casino.

The OP did make a withdrawal. The OP thought that the casino had processed a withdrawal. The casino didn't. The casino should never have returned any withdrawable balance to the OP's account.

The fact that the OP had NOTHING to gain from wagering those funds is very germane to this discussion. The fact that nobody in this thread acknowledges this is frustrating, and makes me believe that common sense has gone out to lunch.

If there was no max cashout restriction in place, then I would agree completely that the OP should not be paid anything.

Technicaaly the op did gamble with his own money as the bonus had already been removed with the cashable amount reversed back into the account against the player's will. If the op had built his balance to say 1k I would support his claim for the full 1k to be cashed out as the casino was at fault in the first place by reversing a perfectly legitimate cashout hence enticing a customer to play. Gamblers are usually not too disciplined except for that bloody KK and can easily be tempted to lose everything in their accounts
