Wangpoker, First of all, I've had offers for this name, so you dont know what you are talking about.

Second of all, you seem to be the resident appraiser around here - this is the second time you have hijacked my thread

I don't remember asking you or anybody else for an opinion - I asked for offers via PM. SO please, keep your stupid comments to yourself.

If this comment gets me banned from this forum thats fine....but admin should not be allowing comments such as yours in a thread if one didnt ask for an appraisal or opinion

If you post in a public forum, expect to receive opinions. Wangpoker has every right to question whether a cn domain is worth anything. If you had an argument to support the reasons why these domains may have value, that was your chance to make a sell :D

But instead you chose to consider his statement stupid.

Not Proper

A sales thread is a sales thread...not a thread for comments or appraisals ..otherwise why call it a sales thread. If I invite appraisals and opinions that is different....this guy has already told me his opinion on this name a few month ago...and here he is back again.

And no he doesn't have every right. He can open his own thread and post his opinions there but why hijack my thread.

I'd love to hear from admin if hijacking sales threads with personal opinions is allowed. To my mind it is not proper forum etiquette.

Sorry, but I disagree. I didn't see it as a hijack - it as an opinion about your domain. That's not hijacking - that's prompting a discussion about your domain.

If he would have stated - "no! buy my domain chinesegambling.com instead!" or "Macao has great Sushi." - that would be considered hijacking.

This forum is based on freedom of expression - just so it's done within set limits.

You tried to sell the same domain last March here:
https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/macaocasino-cn-get-in-on-the-macao-boom.23621/

Wangpoker simply made the comment that .cn domains were not worth much. That is a debatable issue that you should be able to counter argue.

This is defined as a discussion - which is the foundation of this forum - it's been this way for over ten years.

If you are selling something - fine. But don't expect the forum membership to take everything for its face value. If they have comments or questions, they are free to post them within this thread.

Sorry my mistake....didn't know that this was a sales thread, an appraisal thread and a discussion thread all rolled into one. I stand corrected
====================================================

:lolup: ive PM'd you about your url... ok?

too offer my ten pence... anyone is entitled to an opinion and if you have something to sell then you should value the responses of your potential customers, they will help you tailor your sales routine to your target audience...

perhaps by saying... well if you want to expand your international protfolio then a .cn address my be useful to organic growth...

positivity is the friend of any salesman... being abrupt with forum users- cos you didnt get your desired response is fundamentally wrong and is certainally not in keeping with your afore mentioned "general" forum etiquet either!

let us kno ya price bro!

peace:thumbsup:

No need for sarcasm. I'm just stating how it is. If you don't want any debates or comments about what you're offering, I'd suggest finding another forum that accepts commercial posts from newbie users. Thanks! :thumbsup:

This will be my last comment on this. I never asked for opinions - I asked for offers via PM.

Now, I am not against opinions, criticism, discussions etc. They should be given in appropriate parts of a forum, like a discussion or appraisal threads. And I don't regard 'nobody is interested in .cn gaming site" as being anything constructive.

That is not a problem, finding a forum that institutes proper rules isnt a problem at all

My final two pence.

@Ballyhoo: don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out! :D

Seems you thought you bought ad space when you posted in here, at least that's where you'd say something like "call this number" and not offer any opportunity for comments.

You may have noticed this is a forum. It is generally assumed that people will respond when you post in a forum, your "I only want PMs" directive notwithstanding.

Also, contributions like "your stupid post" are probably much more welcome elsewhere anyway.

well said... understanable... at least you have a popular thread tho hay n stand a chance o selling hay!

i think the more information someone can gather about a potential purchase... the deeper/ better/ genuine offers you will recieve! i.e. cut the wheat from the chaff on the thread n genuine PM's will drop through!

:p:cool::thumbsup::notworthy:lolup:

:eek:

@Ballyhoo:

Just observations but a) did you realise it's mis-spelt? Well, it's the largely unused spelling of Macau anyway. And b) just a pointer really, but I wouldn't be inclined to register gambling domains with ".cn" extensions. Always go for .com because the Chinese government will block it the minute it starts to attract traffic. And to rank for the Chinese market you need to host it in China, which is also asking for trouble.

Cheers

Simmo!
