I had to ask :D

My luck has been non existent for months, just can't seem to get a break anywhere, so much so it has put me off depositing as there is just no fun when you can't get off the ground after countless deposits (73 for me), what has been your longest dry spell where everything you played was just dead, doesn't matter what you played?

Kind of frustrated at the moment that I can't even get play time :(

before the Bonanza-eve, my longest dry spell has been about 50 deposits. It was when casinoLuck was launched and whatever game, I could not win a penny there. And I was stupid enough to insist.

During the Bonanza-eve, I can believe without any hesitations that a 500 deposits dry spell is possible. So you still have 427 deposits to lose :D

More seriously, the only suggestion I can give you is to take a break, or at least to try some new casinos. You are lucky since you live in a Country where you can choose between many many many good ones.

What do you generally play Grey?

Avoid NotEnt. There is zero chance of getting ahead on their slots (Ignoring DoA) and making cashout territory. If you get ahead on one of their slots, it will be by maybe 40-50x before it starts to just eat it back. If you change game when you are ahead to another NotEnt one, it will just eat it back.

I suggest playing PnG or Microgaming. NotEnt slots do not go "Hot", whereas on Microgaming you could hit the freespins on say Playboy, Immortal Romance; hit a 150x feature....then 20 spins later hit something similar.

Book of Dead is a game I play almost every session. Sometimes it's arctic cold...other times It can go on crazy streaks with freespins dropping every 30-40 spins and hitting fullscreens and retriggers. You don't exeperience any of that with NE and it's always just a downward session.

Once I stopped playing NE my luck hasn't been too bad at all. I have bad sessions and good ones and it's more of a mixed bag. While my NE days were always Negative sessions.

EDIT: As for bad luck. I had to close my account on Casumo after almost 30 odd deposits just vanished with no playtime on Novomatic slots; however Novomatic/Grrentube slots are still great, I just lacked control while playing them at the time.

If you play Novo, you need to just go with your gut instinct and quit when you are slightly behind if you feel like it's going to go badly.

They also have potential to chuck out 300-500x nice and early if you catch them at the right time.

Have you ever played Captain Venture? Great game, but requires caution, if it eats over 100x leave it be until another day.

Not as many deposits as you but many....then I decided to go back to the old mg slots...and it snapped me back into winning....If it wasn’t for my consistent insistence that I can win more....I would have more cashouts then I already do....

I don't think i've ever really noticed a long dry spell? not sure if its because im a low roller and dont deposit alot (well, it varies).. but I tend to have days things are 'holy this thing wont stop paying', or days I deposit
and spin and its gone in 5 minutes. I do admit it can become disheartening when you can't seem to get any playtime - even if you dont end up making enough to withdraw.

I never really played this until the beginning of this year - occasionally in a freeroll battle or something. But its my almost every deposit slot I go to - but as you say, it can be very cold and your moneys gone quickly and give you a few 5ps and one single book drop in every few £. But also it can be ridiculous with the free spins, retriggers, full screen of your selected symbol.. last weekend i could do no wrong , literally.. same again earlier this week... the last 3 days? nope - other day, occasional little wins and 4 lots of freespins in space of 5 mins , all combined giving me about £2 - it was that bad, i sat there just looking at the screen uttering to myself.. 'you have to be kidding??.. again?'. lol today same again, out of a £30 deposit, one lot of freespins and around £2. Session lasted about 15 minutes total at a guess.

Had a bit of a 'lean' spell myself up until quite recently, the aridity lasted about a year and a half. Since then it's been alright, with a very good February thrown in for good measure, including some heroic hit & run freebie withdrawals.

It was in all likelihood Bonanza that bucked the trend, which in itself is ridiculous, and probably not want you want to hear

i'm like 1 WD out of like 65 deposits on a microgaming only casino
i am taking a 3 month break from gambling
my luck has been quite terrible and i usually get little to no gameplay
1 deposit would last a few hours or 2 days tops out of like 10 deposits

It's kind of a silly question to be honest .Your telling the forum you've made 73 deposits & not be ahead on any of them ? I'm not trying to be funny or offend you but I find this hard to believe. Surely at some point you had double your deposit .if not I think I would close all my accounts down & never return. I've done 20 or so but can say i could of cashed out 50+ on a few ) but didnt.

 Holy crap! Is that with active deposits? And how much were you finally able to withdraw?
well, granted I couldnt deposit as often as I'd liked until last summer when I got more internet access and I've changed my play style drastically and cash out point.
Since last summer a WD near most months and decent WDs to make 2017/8 more than I put in

I have managed two withdrawals, one at £25 and one at £80 - just withdrew as soon as I won anything as everything was going that bad for me. You may find it hard to believe but Rizk, Guts, Videoslots and Reel Island have been icy cold for an age for me.

I play DoA, Jungle Spirit, Book of Ra, Bonanza (well I did do),Immortal Romance, Secrets of the Stones and Alien Robots in the main - I do tend to jump ship on most of them quite quick if I feel they are cold so maybe I am jumping to quickly.

I have managed two withdrawals, which were minor

Bloody hell that's quite the high variance selection

They are not the type of games to bail on. You can lose 90% on most of those and get a massive win out of nowhere. Therein lies the beauty.

Seems some of your slot woes are due to this. When picking one of these, stick it out. It's the only way!

yer greylady i do understand ) i know casinos can be very poor at times , i was just wondering if you had higher cashouts expectations hence why your not cashing out , if you double your deposit, then your still winning, i understand if you wanna cash out at least 10x your deposit or more, can cause no withdrawals over lengths of time, im terrible when it comes to this kind of thing )

I usually cashout as soon as I double my money, not greedy :).

It's Bonanza trust me, my first six deposits on VS were for playing bonanza only, had no luck, no free spins, no cashouts, switched to other providers and my luck changed, mostly play & go, thunderkick and sometimes netent - only very occasionally will I go near BTG and only if I feel losing will not be an issue (ie. am already way ahead).

When you’re having a bad run, sometimes you have to bite the bullet and withdraw even when you’re a little ahead.

I was up $464 in 2018 but promptly lost $39 at Leo Vegas, $75 at Casino Lac Leamy, $25 at Hard Rock, $50 at Video Slots and $75 at PlayOLG to fall to +$200. Then Wednesday I doubled my stake on PlayOLG.ca and cashed out $54+$50 and then Thursday on Video Slots I reluctantly cashed out $25+$50. Hated doing it but it’s for the best. I’ll probably lose as much as $50 tonight at Hard Rock but I’ll be up $225 instead of only $50 by showing restraint.

I am sort of ashamed to admit this but I did not have a withdrawal in my first 7 years of online gaming. Started late 1998 and it wasn't until August 2005 when I made my first withdrawal of EUR15K at Royal Vegas. I would easily lose EUR1 - 2K per session and often enough a lot more, usually EUR250 - EUR500 deposits playing the good ol' MG 9-liners like TS1, Ladies Nite, Tally Ho and Spring Break at EUR4.50 - EUR18.00 per spin.

It must have been hundreds of deposits, if not thousands. All the money I made with the early "dot.com" bubble (exited just in time) went down the drain. On the plus side, I was pampered at all times by the Fortune Lounge VIP team, going on cruises, invitation to dinners, plenty of comps, etc.

In more recent years, I did go 30 - 40 deposits without a withdrawal but that was mainly due to banging DoA on a daily basis, which we all know that it is either HERO or ZERO. It sounds nearly like a miracle that I am actually ahead on that slot.

What I do when times are getting desperate, I jump quickly between slots, play 50 - 100 spins, often even less, change to the next and usually one will fire up right from the start.

Usually it’s no more than 5-10 deposits or bankrolls without a positive result. My luck at actual casinos in 2018 has been awful with 4 busts and one break-even. All my winnings are online.

I have lost more on slots in 2018 then in the last 6-months in 2017 at Ignition Casino. I literally have deposited about $6500 and withdrawn about $2800. It is terrible.

@luck17

You should try bitcoin casinos such as the ones baitorbebaited streams on Twitch. You can play Net Entertainment and other European companies instead of the usual. I would never think of playing at Ignition.

Can’t guarantee you’ll win but they’re better slots overall.

I get dry spells at certain casinos it seems,
In particular 32red where I’ve made about £450 in deposits over a 3 month period with nothing worth withdrawing.
Also about £300 at Unibet.

And it’s not that I’m greedy hunting a win.... I kinda hit withdraw as soon as my balance hits x5 of my deposit eg £20 deposit. Hit balance of £100 and withdraw 75%.

This works well for me at VS, Trada and Skyvegas so I guess it evens itself out perhaps....

BTW my longest dry spell at VS was about 3 years lol. Only decided to give it another go due to CM members faith and their fantastic rep here x x

Well the longest dry spell I have gone without a withdraw at any casino was 8 months. Yes you heard that right. 8 months.

I have came close once before where it was 6 months as well. But usually I get a few withdraws a month. Sometimes a lot lot more. But on average usually around 2 a month.

I am currently in another dry spell too. Just cant win and withdraw deposit after deposit at various casinos as well.

Deposited a lot at casino heroes recently and still not withdrew from there yet either.

So yeah it happens it is part of gambling. Yes it sucks. But it is gambling lol, my time will come again then go and rinse repeat etc etc lol

Worst decision i made in december was to change my main games from doa, raging, montezuma to BTG games. Since then only manage tiny withdrawals after 20-30 deposits. I make those withdrawals out of frustration.
Bonanza is so bad at times that i have literally gone 3000-5000 spins without a bonus and then couple drop in to give 5-10x bet win.
Also if u change ur bet in BTG, somehow the game just becomes totally dead.
Gonna go back to doa now as no point in trying to get that 1 massive win on this as its just not possible to even have a goodish session.
VJ, Betsafe,Leovegas were my lucky casinos before december but since then haven;t managed anything from them

I think this has been the death of me too, Bonanza. I used to play DoA a fair bit and did ok but since I started playing that damn slot it's been worse than horrific so it's back to DoA for me too when I decide to play again :)

great strategy....when I’m down a lot and had no cashouts for a while...as soon as I win a little something I move on...and cash out....and then of course only to blow it again later on on another deposit when I’m way ahead....

Allslotscasino maybe 75 or even 100 deposits. I had that account locked for a couple of weeks and then continued playing but taking a break really does not help here. No WD since early 2016. There are other casinos where i am down a few thousands.
Total losses 2017/2018 = 15k

Worst was maybe 4 months without a w/d - maybe 100 deposits? Trying not to get me stoned but it was Bonanza, last year when it wasn't as rigged :p, that kick started a steady stream of withdrawals of maybe 1 in 3 deposits.

Worst casino for it is either Trada or Cashmio. Not bad places, I just can't win there so basically stopped depositing there- I forgot where the withdrawal button in Cashmio was. When i asked for my deposits v withdrawals last week from casino's i thought a zero must have been sniped off the end of the email they replied with - truly depressing :eek2:

My 'strategy' is 'when/if/aye whatever' double my deposit i cash out the deposit. Means that you can go into the other games knowing you've got your money back. The change in mindset may see you doing, and getting luckier on higher bets, and sometimes it can surprise you :)

I used to have the strategy that when I doubled my deposit I would withdraw atleast the deposit but a while ago I had a pretty big win and after that got a little greedy, went through a dry spell for about a month and felt pretty bad about it. Luckily didn't piss it all away but that made me decide to go back to my earlier strategy of depositing small amounts and withdraw as soon as I doubled it or even only having a 50% profit if I wasn't really feeling like I would get much more ahead that day. That way also the chances of chasing your losses is much smaller if you lose your deposit. I'm sure when I have a decent bankroll again I will blow it on a longer session tho

I might have a world record, started playing more and more from late 2014 until late 2016 until my first real win came.

During this period i palyed microgaming and Netent.

Finally saw a streamer playing Medusa 2 and a whole new world opened up for me, 3-4 months and even up til now i keep getting constantly 1000x and bigger hits in the game, then bonanza came and keep getting the hits there to.

So yeah, avoid NetEnt like plague, dont even know how i could think slots were funny winning tops 300x every 3rd month.

Well it has now been a month without a withdraw at VS, deposited 36 times since last withdraw at VS. And at other casinos Leovegas and Slottyvegas, all not had a withdraw at for 2 months. As for casinoheroes I have done 8 deposits since I signed up about a month ago and still not had a withdraw there either. So my luck is dreadful indeed. :(

I do not see any light at the end of the very long dark tunnel at all.

EDIT: And I just checked my leovegas history and my last withdraw was in January and I have deposited 66 times since then. So yeah it is even worse at leovegas. And it was worse there also because I never get anything back as a goodwill just pure 100% filthy loss. lol oh well what ever.

We all have them, whilst you aren't winning I'd propose you try playing low variance for hours of play time and a small profit or mega high variance for massive win then just take a break for a week (bar freebies)?

Medium variance when on a losing run is utterly pointless. If you want to know the variances you could either visit the slots comparer site or slotty vegas scroll the slider and it tells you the variances more wins is low and bigger wins is high. :)
