Need your input: Your longest losing streak? 2 months of misery

I need some input here!
We know how long 0.40 spins would last even 6 or 7 years ago. Still have the bank statements to prove it. Was half the fun seeing how long you could stretch a bankroll. Nowadays you know the answer before you even take your first spin. That's just boring.

Still mulling over what other hobby to take up instead.

Please share if you come up with some ideas. Been desperately trying to come up with something for ages and ages now.

Trouble is, needs to be cheap (well let's face it, most things will be cheaper than today's slotting :p) plus winter is fast approaching so ideally indoors too, which severely limits us.

Enjoy watching TV series but eyes go so sore and tired after a couple of episodes etc...

I think we are on the same page mate, love me TV series and movies but eyes are buggered too so can't watch like I used to, also sedentary so bad for the old ticker etc.

Was thinking about wine and beer making which I've dabbled with in the past, but again would be an unhealthy thing to have all that booze around on tap. Not interested in crafting or model making.

God forbid I actually have to spend more time with the other half.

Working out. I know it sounds dreadful lol but once you start it does become addicting. You just need to get past the first couple weeks.

Fitbit watch and aim for 10k steps a day too. When you are 1k short of the day and midnight is approaching you will find yourself walking circles around your house to get to the 10k goal :)

Well after many, many years of online play I have to finally admit to a serious gambling problem, that being:

- The slots don't play anything like they used to 😬

This summer I've been irked beyond belief by the incredibly truncated length of my low rolling $100 deposits. I'm sure that hiding out overseas in max RTP Costa Rica joints has lessened the pain, but nothing can really protect from the pernicious maths models in operation today.

So, far from homeless but pretty much given up on it all now. When low rolling still ends up as an expensive hobby, it's time to rethink.
You've expressed my thoughts perfectly here bud.

my last 9 months play has been nothing special, yes at most won a couple of hundred of £ lower RTP really makes a massive difference
It feels so demeaning and pointless a lot now, where that would hardly ever be the case before. Felt like real balance adventuring before. Feels like being stuck in a barrel and shot at point blank with an uzi now.
Every moderate win now I don't trust in the casino where before I'd have a good chance of reaching higher I almost know now it'll get rinsed and I better go cashier... It's sad actually how it's changed for me. Turned me into a gimp cashing out tenners to build off-site casino pot instead of going for 1k+ on-site which it's meant to be about IMO

This post is nothing more than my opinion, and I was never that big of a slotter, but I've done my share, and at a handful of places. But rather than look at my returns as an organic whole, I tended to personalize the sessions, lol.

After a big number of losing sessions, I'd start to consider the entire idea of this hobby, that there is no point to it, it's not entertaining. And as a result, I stopped depositing at places where wins became simply impossible - deposit, deposit, deposit, deposit ... and nothing.

The truth is that gambling - like other vices - is a fundamental part of modern society. It's fun, it holds universal appeal to human instincts and most of the time it's not too expensive. But if the fun stops or it DOES become too expensive, then the playing should, too.

Problem thesedays it seems is the fun rarely STARTS

2 Months is rookie numbers. I had regular 6 month streaks where nothing paid. Imagine that while watching gobshites like the bandit on youtube hitting 1000x wins multiple times per video.
