Need your input: Your longest losing streak? 2 months of misery

I need some input here!

I've been on a consistent losing streak for the last 2 months. It started early May after experiencing my most successful week ever of playing slots - I was winning non stop, nearly every deposit made a profit worthy of withdrawal. I must have made over 8k. I paid some bills, bought some nice things etc and of course played a large chunk of it away - you know how it is.

That week ended and it all changed. I started rapidly losing every deposit. At first, I didn't care, can't expect a win streak like that to last very long - hey-ho. Weeks pass, lose lose lose. You know when you make a deposit, and you literally never go into profit, not even by a few bucks? It was like this with every deposit. Oh well I thought, it will eventually turn around. Got paid at the end of May, lost around £800 of my wages, again with a rapid burn to bust every time. Played casually throughout this month of June, lose lose lose - no change in the experience. I didn't think a losing streak for this long was possible because they never lasted this long in the past. I think I one session over at Pub casino where did manage scrape above the deposit by 50%, but not worthy of a withdrawal.

I mostly played at higher RTP and recommended sites here at Casinomeister.

Mr Q - The alleged high RTP games didn't seem to make any difference - Mr Q has been brutal to be honest. I lost so much money on there. Yesterday I finally closed my Mr Q account. Fuck Mr Q.

Lottomart - I honestly don't understand the praise Lottomart gets arounds here. I mean... GOD.... Every session I had on there was a disaster. Every time I hit a bonus on there it always paid filth. Yeah the site is nice enough and they have good customer service, but sheesht it is impossible to get ahead on there. Today, I closed my Lottomart account. Fuck Lottomart.

The sucker part is that the longer the streak went on, the more I thought, "it has to end soon, right?" Surely I'll get something this time. I got paid yesterday and again lost around £800.

I'm now in that wtf is the point anymore stage. Why even bother?

Now I ask you..... What is your longest losing streak and how did you deal with it?

Had some stinking long losing streaks on and off over the years, as time progresses they get longer and more often compared to years gone by.

To cope with them I....

* Stop playing for a while
* Log off leaving a small balance and return later / tomorrow
*Have a rant on here
* Knock the missues about a bit

** Not everything in the statement maybe 100% factual :p

Agree - logging off and leaving a small balance should be removed as it just tempts you to play hahahaha

Daft as it sounds it does work.

Going out for a bit, stopping for household chores, little things like popping to garage to fuel car up save doing it tomorrow etc.

Can often come back, ok well not often but now and then and things improve as if its a completely different game/site/session.

Of course this works the opposite way as well, Amount of times I've been nicely "plodding along" holding my balance well and it's time to go to work, come back, eat and start a new session and it's game over in no time at all.

I don't usually count, but 37 days.

I've come to accept there will be more time trying to understand why nothing is hitting after taking a rare opportunity to throw a decent wedge in the ring the last couple of days.

What proceeded to happen is to lose it all, I went it happy to do so, at double your figure. Insane, yes. I was trying out a site I have not used before but a few people here suggest is worthwhile, it felt as though the doors to a win had been closed, it was my time to lose.

A few smaller hits at the beginning, a glimpse of a bank roll building up and then dead spin after dead spin, change game and stake, same results.

The thought an RTP could be tampered with or an account can be moved into the no-win zone when you're looking for one more scatter before calling it in and it never arrives is frustrating but it happens.

In the end I accept if I am going to play, it helps to be willing to play just to watch the pretty reels spin and nothing else.

If you're here, you know you won't win every session but can't help think the drought is due, especially when you've had a significant win not too long ago. It just seems to be the way unless luck really is on your side.

Odd behaviour noticed is when the bonus does not want to show you seem more likely to strike a decent base game hit instead which helps rendering any bonus even further away, though that is just how it feels as is probably not the reality though it is not my first experience seeing this behaviour.

I often consider raising the stake considerably creating less spins and shorter play time but if something strikes then it's potentially more worthwhile and not going through the grind for the same result.

I have had two of the biggest wins I've had on MrQ and Lottomart, both handled smoothly during payout.

I think I have whittled the UK brands down to a handful now including the new one I tried but consider closing that one too after taking almost £1500 without a bonus feature, it just seems unlikely and yet this has happened on all of them one time or another, "it's sentient and knows you want a bonus so will just keep snatching the funds".

Having taken a considerable break in the past it also seems to induce more wins when returning than trying each week/month, another coincidence I'm sure, are they made to go in waves of loses and wins, there rarely seems to be an in-between area.

Not a grumble, just some thoughts I'm sure we've all pondered.

For me my longest losing streak was around 7 months. That was many years ago though. Just could not build a balance or do a single withdraw in that time.

But I had so many long losing streaks but that was my worst and I just felt how the fuck can this be fucking legal. When your in 1 of those long streaks honestly nothing works or matters it is like every casino has put a 0% RTP on your accounts and you just have to either stop playing altogether or just ride it out.

But at the end of the day it is just bad luck streak, they happen but when they last so long you start to question your life choices lol

But fun fact = "We are all in the longest losing streak anyway - only 1 winner!" (unless you are one of those rare people who gamble once a year and win in that 1 session per year.)

Losing streaks can test your sanity thats for sure. It feels like everything is totally turned off for weeks on end. It can get bad and to be honest there could be no end for a long time. Nothing is for certain.

Last month I won about $10k. I only do 75 cent to $1 spins for the most part. Anything above that things can get bad quick. Even on those bets you can easily lose thousands over numerous sessions.

After winning 10k..I went on a horrific streak. Down about 2k on $1 or less spins in just a couple weeks. Every deposit totally empty. Any bonus I would hit would pay 7x-20x.

It can go on forever until you are deep and chasing. This is how people get in trouble with gambling. They think they are due. There is no due. There is nothing that promises you will get a hit or rebound. Before you know it, you blew your house savings, lost your house and family. It can happen if you dont check yourself and have control.

I know 3 people who have won 200k+ only to blow it all back and then lose their car and home. Distant acquaintances. I cant be around people like that. I just cant. Its too our of control and too dark.

Luckily I have rebounded and won all that 2k back and more this past week...but usually there is a limit for me until I quite for a couple months. I was very very close.

Be careful. Lower your bet or stop for awhile.

since feb 2024 I had only 3 great wins, captain venture £7k, Big Bambo €25k (crypto casino) and sweet retro max win €6k (crypto casino, bonus buy) rest was all lost lost lost, last year I had over 20 wildline in DOA2 this year cant even get bonus...

I’ve just started grinding DOA2 on 0.09 spins again (after a break of a few weeks) and I’m struggling to get even two scatters. Something has changed with the game recently.
on UK casino is very hard now to even get bonus, on crypto casino bonus buys is playing much better, last night I had like 50 bonus but no wildline

Same story here, same month, same levels of misery.
My poison ended up being Space Wars and I recorded each daily session, resulting in this:

over 5k spins and not ONE winnign with the combination of red gems. That seemed odd to me and so I reported it to Mariacasino as a statistical anomaly... Sure enough I was given the usual spiel and that everything was working as intended. - So I made a hard choice.

Family, outdoor activities, healthy hobbies, reworked my diet, started training body and mind and I haven't looked back ever since. I am proud to say that I am "free", and no longer do I hit online slots.

Occassionally I will bet on a live game, in the sense of not predicting the outsome from the get go, but wait for the odds to be far enough apart to "guarantee" a win. Only doable betting live games waiting for the margin between the two odds to be big enough to bet within a ratio that will make me a profit regardless of who wins the match. Other than that, I am done, I am out of it, no more nights clicking at specific pixels or sitting in a certain way, all that supersticious stuff. The house always wins, if you dont quit while you are ahead.

I am sad I didnt come to this conclusion earlier, thinking I could bruteforce my way to wins, by continuing to play, but as they say, sometimes, doing nothing is the hardest thing and yet for me, that was as true as it could be, I did nothing, I didnt log on and I didnt play, yet that was the best decision of my life.

Total bets on live games since May 6, 50usd
Total earnings, 103 usd

Next bet, never :) I closed my account.

i tell you whats wrong, the RTP has decreased alot
Yeah so it seems. My YT channel is a virtual horror show... The RTP decreasing has been enough then for my type of player (min bets to £1 spins) to find it pointless to play. Sad times really that have made me question everything

well im having a break till september then will pick and choose with caution where i play and what slots i play, may try offshore site ive seen jimbo and craig slots recommend BC casino

After losing many deposits in a row, I usually take a longer break from playing. This can vary from a month, to several months. Following a strict budget used for gambling, but if I'm not feeling it I will just not play for a while. I feel like it helps out, atleast for your own sanity. Sometimes it just feels like nothing can ever hit when you're in a slump.

I've really had no luck lately. I've played at the same place for so long, mainly since they have chat, although I rarely talk any more. Since they added the sitewide jackpot it has gotten worse and worse. Last while it has been no play time, very few wins. It seems like the main ones winning are dimers or 10 bucks and up...just a lot of change and not for the good. I need a new place...bad!!

Well after many, many years of online play I have to finally admit to a serious gambling problem, that being:

- The slots don't play anything like they used to 😬

This summer I've been irked beyond belief by the incredibly truncated length of my low rolling $100 deposits. I'm sure that hiding out overseas in max RTP Costa Rica joints has lessened the pain, but nothing can really protect from the pernicious maths models in operation today.

So, far from homeless but pretty much given up on it all now. When low rolling still ends up as an expensive hobby, it's time to rethink.

Cheques in the post, another one on board lol :p :p

Seriously though, with so many seasoned players posting similar of late, surely we're not all wrong, something ain't right.

We know how long 0.40 spins would last even 6 or 7 years ago. Still have the bank statements to prove it. Was half the fun seeing how long you could stretch a bankroll. Nowadays you know the answer before you even take your first spin. That's just boring.

Still mulling over what other hobby to take up instead.
