loaded/harveys

What would really be offensive on Loaded is having a bonus round in which you have to choose either a convienience store, a gas station, or a liquor store........ and the pimp with the white hat goes into the one you chose and pulls off an armed robbery. Whatever money he gets, that's how much you win on the bonus. There could also be the possibility of getting nothing on the bonus round if he gets shot by the police.

And tennis_balls....what's with all the justification of Golden Palace?

You know there was a thread here before, I think it may have been Simmo who posted it. It was a quiz about various slots, etc. And I'm sure that one of the questions was "which game was almost not released due to stereotyping" or something along those lines, with the answer of course being Loaded. Simmo, do you remember?

Or even more offensive....have him drive up in a pink pimped out caddy, rough up his ho's and take the money from them

What's a ho? :p

Thanks for the morning laughs guys!! At least I didn't have my coffee cup to my mouth this time.

Yup - it was the Xmas Slots quiz - basically some casinos opted not to take loaded on political correctness grounds. There's a rumour circulating that the Zargs from Planet Wiznit want "What On Earth" withdrawn too but so far only the US government are backing them so it's 50/50.

Ho
(n) A prostitute. Shorthand for the word whore. This word originated from prostitutes who trick at hotels.
In some cases people refer to them as sluts but what makes it different is that hoes get paid for what they do. (pl n) Hoes.

tip for hitting the bonus feature on Loaded

be ready with your mouse during the introduction......when the "blonde" (on top) shakes her booty, click on her cheek. i always do better when i remember that trick

So in a perfect world, it doesnt matter what we choose - we win the same, :D

I believe it is better to take the 12 x 4, as you can't retrigger the feature get it finished quick in case those 3 hands come up again.

Hmmm someone had to i guess :) But underneath the (arguably) humorous veneer i was making a point that i think poeple confuse sterotyping with culture. Loaded is a hip-hop slot and hip-hop has its roots in black culture. Its as simple as that IMO and nothing wrong with that.

Cashville bases itself on the upper classes...similar principle but unlikely to raise moral issues. Harveys to a lesser degree also. Its a fact of life that stereotyping occurs, and not always in a good way, but when you examine the cultural effect it can change the perspective.

This is a whole other discussion, but you are absolutely dead on Simmo. I couldn't agree with you more. And thanks for pointing that out, it's all so simple really.
