Hey guys,

Anyone played this yet?
Saw it today at Twin Casino and blew 50 quid on it quite fast on 50 cent spins..
FS not triggered.

Didn't know this slot was coming out and it seems a clone of Book of Ra Magic, more expanding symbols with each retrigger..

Seems very volatile to me and FS hard to trigger.

Squeezed about 250 spins out of my 50 quid, few 2 scatters, no 3 yet.

I think a lot of people will realise that the pharoah symbol and horse head dogface have actually switched position in terms of pays. You will notice the pharoah is all over the reels now unlike dogface, who has now taken pharoahs place. He is now the higher paying symbol out of the two. That is the main change I noticed to book of dead. Besides that, Like the people above have said it's just rise of Merlin with book of dead paint on. Extremely hard most of the time to trigger a bonus. And rarely does it's retrigger. It's an ok slot

Yeah.

Actually plays completely differently to BOD, it's about 10x tighter and good bonuses are harder to come by.

Would rather play BOD any day of the week.

Had 2 bonuses on it. Both where crap. Can’t see the sense keeping the max pay the same as BOD whilst having book of ra magic mechanics.

AFAIK... yes 5000x. Play'n Lose don't really seem keen on offering anything above 5kx on any of their slots.

And 5000x is also a miraculous hit. To top it off they love offering operators the opportunity to lower the RTP..

All in all it's a disaster for bankrolls IMPO..

Maybe the resident slot slut @Harry_BKK can confirm the max win... I'm lazy now

Nate

It’s a disgrace some of the percentages some casinos accept.
see with our favourite and trusted salt of the earth provider BTG they don’t give us that nonsense.

Lol... it's one thing offering a 94 RTP to the operator and another thing claiming to have 96% RTP. Then it dishes out 85% like most BTG slots...

I'd trust PNG anyday over BTG. Nevertheless, IMPO NetBent is the one where you always see better RTP'S and you always see their advertised max wins (of late - like DOA2)..

I've heard Casino Managers complain that NetBent was often holding just 2 to 3% for the house whilst they praised BTG as a cash cow..

Oh nobody trusts BTG, I trust the emails I get from the Nigerian prince more than I would anything BTG say.

Just seen this after getting my win earlier.

Even though it was a nice return, I do feel a bit disgruntled as despite 64 free spins and only missing 'A's, getting full screen of 10's, J's, Q's and more important the pharaoh heads, it only paid a bit less than x2,000. At the end of the spins, I honestly thought I was looking at one of my biggest wins ever, but felt quite let down.

Still pleased at the win, but part of me feels like I missed out on a good one.

(ps, sorry for cross posting with winners screenshots, but this thread is more specific for reference)

Max win mate is 5000x like book of dead. All games via that provider can’t produce bigger.
legacy seems to me just lots more eye candy but with the same max potential as BOD.
Yeah I get your gutted, I would be also even tho it’s a good win.
Book of ra magic has the potential and it’s been cloned to hell by this game.

I try not to play too long on any game. If nothing comes up in 10-20 spins I move onto something else. There have been more times when I've been lucky playing this way than sitting on just one game. I do get silly with money I win and blow it on a single game - sometimes I get lucky but I've lost a lot more money than I've won playing like this. You could grow a rip van winkle beard waiting for for bonus spins with a good payout when playing PlayNGo slots.

Didn't listen to myself. Played some stinky game called Wild Rubies. Was winning a little on the minimum - without the special feature being available. Decided to increase my bet to qualify for the special feature and lost what I won and $30 more. duh The worst thing was that the special feature only came up once and failed. Stupid game from Gamesoft - their games are rarely very lucky for me and their graphics are simply ugly. lol

Played Legacy of the Dead last night. Real cheapskate - one line at 1 cent a spin. Wanted to see the frequency of bonus spins coming up. Played 500 spins with no BS feature but kept going to get a 1000 unit line so ended up with a 'whopping' $5 profit. Was a little bit of fun. lol

Edit. Meant to mention that I played this game at two casinos last night. Didn't do so well at the other casino. Am not sure if I noticed anything different between the two regarding the RTP.

Let me share my latest Pl;ayNGo experience playing Rise of Merlin at Twin Casino. Playing 3cents on 1 line. 1750 yes 1750 spins to the first bonus spins which returned 100cents. 20 spins to next BS for 50cents. 120 spins to next BS for 66c. 300 spins when I gave up deciding that losing $37 playing 3cents a spin was enough silliness. Would have been lucky to get more than $15 on a good BS result with playing only 3cents a spin. Couldn't help myself from being curious about how things would go but then enough is enough. Lesson - don't chase bonus spins thinking they're going to win you back the money you've spent. :)
