Lads Cash-Splash & Scratchcards - July 2008...

The Cash Splash games for July are Days of the Tsar, Isis and Bush Telegraph. Which of these is lowest variance? Probably not Isis :p
Definitely NOT Isis!
Don't think I've played Tsar jet...
Bush Telegraph would be my choice - pretty low variance.

I did great with StarScape in June!
Made 131 just from playing the slot + 210 in bonuses. (Only played 3 weeks).

However, many here will be glad to hear my amazing run on the scratchcards ran out in June & I did not get even 1 over 10. That & having to play high-variance progressive slots lead to an overall loss of 230... :(

PS: I hope you don't mind, but rather than keep bumping this old April thread I'm copying this post into a new thread for the July promotions for all who want to discuss them.

For anyone who might be interested, this is how my Ladbrokes bonuses went this month:-

Slots Splash:-
I know I recommend it due to being (theoretically) low variance, but I suffered some appalling bad luck on Bush Telegraph this month. I have honestly NEVER seen such crap from this slot!! I did try Days of the Tsar a few times - but that was not much better. :(
Week 1: Lost 86
Week 2: Lost 58
Week 3: Didn't play this week cos I was travelling on the Monday.
Week 4: Lost 71
So with 210 of bonuses earned, I'm finished the month just 5 down.

Friday Specials (25/week):-
Week 1 (Slots): The wagering for Slots Splash counted for this too, so +25
Week 2 (Cards): Stupidly played stupid piss-taking Stud... and lost 20, so +5
Week 3 (Slots): On holiday, and forgot it was Friday!! :o (Didn't claim).
Week 4 (Cards): Played Hi-Streak Blackjack and finished WR 2 up! So +27

One-off special Hold'em High 40 match bonus:-
Much to my surprise, I managed to wager over the required 160 & finish level! So + 40

Total of above: +97

Scratchcards:-
I wasn't going to play for any of these this month due to Lads outrageously increasing the WR from 50 in previous months to 200 for this! And I wasn't keen on the slot (Bomber Girls) after a pretty poor first experience on it.
But in the end I decided to have a few goes. Got off to a diabolical start which put me off for a while, but later came back and surprisingly came good!
July 08: Lost 60, Scratchcard = 10, Total -50
July 10: Gained 4, Scratchcard = 0!, Total +4
July 11: Lost 61, Scratchcard = 10, Total -51
July 26: Gained 96, Scratchcard = 5, Total +101
July 28: Gained 61, Scratchcard = Not arrived yet.., Total +61 min.

Scratch promo total: +65 + 1 Scratchcard to come.

So month total: +157 minimum.
Not my best month a Lads by miles, but overall not a bad result!

still says deposit and wager 50 on laddies site KK

3. To qualify to receive the scratchcard/s you must be an existing Ladbrokes Casino customer with a real money account, deposit and purchase at least 50 (or currency equivalent) and turnover to a total of 50 (or currency equivalent) daily on Bomber Girls slot.

That's FRICKING annoying! :icon_evil
I wonder when they changed it.
It quite definitely 100% certainly said WR 200 at the beginning of the month - I checked it several times!

Anyone know how / where to look up cached pages?

:sob:

Quick update:-
I never got a scratchcard for my play on July-28 cos some numbnuts forgot to deposit 50 before playing... :o

I played again on July-30 and made +2... just got scratchcard today = 10.

So month total = +169

i noticed it a couple of days ago.
Right, for August it definitely says WR = 100, and here's the proof! :p
