Just throwing it out there my grandads views aren’t mine however he was a mean old so and so and he even refused to open his blinds on the lodge marching day as they would march past his window he was from cork mind you but moved to Liverpool in the 60s secterianism is still rife in Liverpool amongst the older generations and is passed on to the kids and grandkids for instance the orange will rip up the tricolour from people’s gardens and the catholic’s throw bottles and pennies on the orange lodge when they march so both as bad as each other but it won’t change as Liverpool is almost like a mini Ireland and the hatred goes back generationsAhhh was your grandpa an oul taig??where as mine would have give his last packet of woodbine away to play on it..
