Hey everyone,
I have nothing nice to say about Casino 440 online casino they are complete fraud.
I live in Australia and have played any online casinos my husband as well my husband ended up in Casino 440 which is linked to Casino 440 Affiliates another waste of time as many players do he saw huge bonus plays and massive deposit saving bets.
I started looking into 440s terms and conditions when money and accounts started changing and disappearing.
My husband won over $20,000 US dollars from spins and feature wins not through a bonus normal spins. We then emailed support to set up withdrawal payment to be told we had to provide ID , bank statements and documents the also said payment can be processed through PayPal online.
The next day we received an email from casino 440 support stating Paypal could not be used by a Veronica lady the email was a spam it was full of spelling mistakes and image errors.
Casino 440 does not have a Australian customer support number "yet" so everything was done by email
Several attempts for cash withdrawl we were locked out from the casino I managed to access it only to find an empty bank account no funds winning had disappeared. Support emailed me two dodgy gaming statements with winnings and games played they said my husband played 48 hours straight online and spent all the money?
As a results Casino 440 then made unauthorised bank withdrawls from our personal account of over $1000 AU dollars.
Sorry for the long post but this casino needs to be shut down or blacklisted they are a fraud and a scam
Terms and conditions are a bunch of mixed up words it makes no sense
Very disappointing Casino 440

OK, you said you managed to re-access the casino account and it was empty - GO TO THE PLAYCHECK and see if what the support says tallies with the playcheck. They couldn't make that up. Husbands can gamble for years unbeknown to their wives and bankrupt the family when matters come to a head - I find it an odd excuse for a casino to make when not paying out. Most would just simply have you speaking to the hand or ignore you. IF they are telling the truth it's not surprising they lock the account as usually only one player can play at one account, and once they heard you deny playing the winnings back that would have raised a red flag.
You must have known his whereabouts during the 48 hours they claim he was playing??

Something fishy here.

ok I wont even go into if your husband played the winnings back or not or why your account was locked, but if everything you say is true then I wouldn't be raising a PAB i would be getting the fraud department of my bank involved as you state that after all the money disappeared they then took $1000 unauthorised from your bank, seemd to me more like it was deposited in to the casino by your husband so id be having words with him, if not and casino definitely took $1000 from account then why are you posting here you should be pursuing them for theft

OK.

I'm going to go out on a limb here (how about that eh?) and say that:

1. The OP's husband DID win $20,000

2. The OP's husband DID blow the $20,000 back

3. The OP's husband DID deposit another $1,000 chasing it.

4. The OP's husband is an out-and-out liar.

In fact, I can almost certainly state it as fact, because it is absolutely impossible to withdraw $1000 from an Australian bank account without the username and password (and SMS verification code for major banks) of the person's online banking service. My educated guess is maybe PoLi or something like that....or even a debit card.

Oh, and the casino is correct in stating that PayPal is NOT available for online casino deposits or withdrawals in Australia.

Jess....time to use your head and do some investigation of your own, and get your husband to grow some balls and fess up.

(anyone else suspect the reason the wife was "locked out" of the casino was that that hubby had changed the password... )

Maybe they are fraud, maybe not but the least you could have done is to show the membership here the correspondence you had with the casino. Otherwise, its just a one-sided story.

Frankly, I couldn't make too much sense of your post though it seems my fellow forum members could.

you can also definitely request some kind of login history and at times even the IP is stored along with it, which may throw more light on whether there was a login and from where....

Has the OP submitted a PAB yet, Max?

No, but I just heard a man's been taken to hospital in Australia after a domestic, with the electric flex of an iron trailing out of his a$$ and his todger superglued to his inner thigh.....:D:D

Of course we're not privy to PAB information but I suspect there will be some sort of settlement.

She gets the house, the car and the kids. He gets the delinquent casino account.

No sir, no PAB.

Upgrading the thread title to something closer to reality. Was "Casino 440 total Scam!"

If anyone`s interested, there is a reply from casino rep on another forum (thanks Google).

They are able to provide Jess with husband`s bet history, showing that the money was,
indeed, played and lost.

Wh.....wh......wha.......wha........WHAT?????!!!!!

I'm shellshocked.

Perhaps the $1000 was taken by the underpants gnomes.

P.S. seems the amount was $12k NOT $20K+

I make fun but it's kind of sad really. The wife thinks they're up 12k and then finds out her husband blew that and then some.

I wonder if this guy has a history of losing money like this.... Or losing wives like this.

It is sad indeed.

I had a neighbor and his wife was addicted to gambling like ive never seen.

About 6 years ago she won $250,000 on the lottery and within 3 months she blew it back into slots.

Last year the husband had a line of credit to do repairs on the house. $100,000.

He went into the bank one day to get a few thousand out and when he went to get materials from the hardware stores. The bank informed him there was $0 available. He had a meeting with the bank managers and showed him dozens of withdrawals made by his wife in the thousands. She lost $85,000 buying lottery tickets and slots.

They are now divorced.

I actually feel for the poor woman, making the post she made thinking they were robbed of 12 grand. Not sure how the hubby thought he wouldn't be found out.

I can only imagine having 12 grand in any of my casino accounts, first thing I would do would be to cashout.

Easier said than done I guess sometimes for some of us.

Hope she just keeps him in the doghouse for a week and doesn't castrate him.

Are they the ones in Southpark? Rings a bell. The ones that print the Rushmore cheques?

Most of us (myself included) have reversed and lost a withdrawal, but not one that size. And maybe they're independently wealthy and don't need the money, but if that's the case he wouldn't have had to lie about losing it. It seems to me like a pretty big red flag that the husband has some lack of control issues, and hopefully he realizes now that online gambling is probably not the best thing for him.

Hope you're ok Jess.

There was NEVER a doubt in my mind that this is what happened. This thread was fun but unnecessary after a certain point.

IDK, given she never seem interested to lodge a PAB, when told to do so numerous times, tells me, maybe she was in on this just as much as the spouse. No reply from the OP here or to her other post, at the other site either... Fake phone number etc etc... Yep me thinks they both thought they could try it on!
