Hi guys,

The January Casinomeister/Slot Junkies slot tournaments are now open. I've also rolled the 32Red Progressive Challenge into the Slot Junkies site (www.slotjunkies.info) now too so you can take part in these now via the Player Lounge instead of via Email.

Because a lot of my contacts at the casinos were taking a break, its a bit slow off the mark but i expect to be adding more this week. So far we have:

- Thunderstruck @ 32Red
- Dino Might @ Roxy Palace
- Multi Slot @ Sands Of The Caribbean *
- Major Millions **
- King Cashalot (just shy of $1 million at the mo!!!) **
- Tunzamunni **


* The "Multi Slot" one at Sands is interesting...you can play ANY slot game you want - brings an element of skill into it as you have to pick the right game! I'm keen to see how this one does as i may do more like this if its popular.

** The last three mentioned also have the 30% Jackpot share split among all competitors who qualify - read the rules for info if you are unfamiliar with the Progressive Challenges.

I also have "Jungle Jim" to add this week but need to talk to the casino rep to clarify prizes before i can add it.

Please also note some rule changes, partly because of the "Progressive Challenge" and partly to make it a bit more competitive. These are simply the introduction of a minimum wager (low), a slight increase in the turnover required and a maximum one prize per player per competition.

Feedback from the last comp from casinos was predicatbly mixed with some casinos doing very well and some not so well. As a result I have also decided that there were probably too many competitions running so i am limiting it to 10 a month from now on so the casinos get a better spread on returns.

Winners from December's comp will be announced shortly and prize claims verified by the casinos over the course of the next week or two. Winners will have their prizes credited to their accounts by the sponsors. I'll update this thread as i know more.

Like my cryptic email...? Or rather, "Half" an email as Fruitbat pointed out to me - lol. Am i alone in this - sometimes I go to CTRL+V (paste) in a URL and Outlook Express sends the email instead...grrrr.

But if you are here, i guess you don't need the other half anyway, as it was just this URL :D

Good stuff again. I tried my best in 32Red's Spring Break and made a final push at Intercasino playing Bejeweled with all the $$ I had available. My bad luck continues it seems:mad: but it was worth the effort. I also opened up new accounts (or re-activated locked ones) in casinos, and in order to support this effort, I was sure to tell the casinos that Simmo!'s challenge was the reason for activation!

This month is my favorite combo 32RED + T'Struck. I'll be there... :)

Good luck everyone! Last competition was a lot of fun. Will be playing Roxy's right now. Will play a little bit at 32 Red when my poker withdraw hits Neteller. 32 Red doesn't have an Instacash option =/
 
Oh, forgot to mention that I really like the multi-slot tourney at Sands - I think I'm activating my Sands account :) I like to be able to play my own favorite slots and still have a chance at the prizes! On the other hand, it's nice to have single-slot comps as well.

At th erisk of sounding spammy, have you guys checked out the promotions at Sands Of The Caribbean? I just downloaded it to take part in the comp, and the promotions look unusually generous. Like $100 per month *no deposit required* and an extra $50 for slots players wagering $6k or more. Also i notice the $50 signup bonus is x25 bonus only before it can be withdrawn?

KK would know how this rates but it sounds good to me?

Yep - I think it sounds TOTAL CRAP!

The SUB is OK, but the starting figure of $50 makes it not terribly attractive.
But the monthly $100 for wagering $6,000...? :eek:
Give me a break - would not touch that with a barge pole!

That's $2000 more WR than their sister Omni, and (relatively) a whopping $3,500 more than Intercasinos monthly match!!!

The only good thing (if I understand it correctly) is that you are not 'tied' into the bonus because it's not deposit related. i.e. You could deposit $100, wager $50, hit a mega win & withdraw the lot without restriction.
This bonus is more like comp rewards than a 'normal' bonus.
In fact, now that I think about it - maybe it's actually quite good! :D

Crap for a low-roller maybe yes i can see your point. But for a medium roller like me i'd hit $6k in a session or two no problem so actually i think thats quite okay :)

The sands bonus is about the best I have seen latley
Wager 6000 in a month and get 100 credit the next which (unless I read it wrong ) is fully withdrawal straight away (no wr ) and there can be no claims of bonus abuse
So if you are a player then you get 100 totaly free
 
The December winners for Cashville, Pollen Nation and Spring Break have now been verified and should have had their casino accounts credited at Challenge, Music Hall and 32Red with the prizes accordingly.

Kudos to Trish at Challenge/Music Hall and Lee @ 32Red for being so fast to respond :thumbsup:

I was going to analyze this bonus offer until I noticed that players from my country (Finland) are excluded.. so my analysis in short is that it's not a very good offer:mad:

I emailed their pitboss to see if he could make an exception. If not, I won't be playing there, not because I hunt for bonuses, but because I feel it's unfair to exclude all players from a certain country on account of some unscrupulous ones...

I mean, how exactly does one abuse a bonus offer with a pre-WR of 6,000 :confused:

Anyway, it's not the end of the world, I'm happy to participate in the tournaments at 32Red and my fresh account at Intercasino:thumbsup:

"Thunderstruck" winners at Roxy in December have now been verified and paid via their casino accounts. :thumbsup:

"Bejeweled" claims at Intercasino are currently being verified and should be sorted by Friday.

Sands of the Caribbean is not bothering to reply to my latest query about the loyalty bonus program. It's been several days so it's starting to seem I'm a persona non grata at Sands because of my nationality (or is it skin color? us Finns, we're pale most of the year..just ask Conan O'Brien). Sure looks like I'm not going to be playing at Sands:(

Anyway, I think I'll give Roxy a shot if my this month's gambling allocation allows it. I'm going to play some at 32Red as usual, although Simmo! has posted a pretty solid win candidate there:notworthy, and if I still have the money, I'll open an account at Roxy and take part in the tournament there.

Okay Simmo, I'm loaded for bear at 32Red, and off to see what kind of damage I can do with that sheepfarmer Thor. I just took a quick peek at what I gotta beat, YIKES!!!!! Nice hit Simmo, and nice payout. Gonna give it a try. Hope the gambling gods are with me, and that my lucky stone has some mojo left in it. ;)
 
Good luck the both of you. Actually its quite beatable - its the worst line to get the Hammers on in actual fact...no minor wins worth adding to it.

Anyway, i turned my attentions to Major Millions and hit this! Soooo close (its a "Ship" symbol on reel5 btw).
 
A QUESTION FOR SIMMO

Hi Simmo, I entered myself into the Dino Might Comp at Roxy, and was just curious what is the minimum qualifying bet? I know for Thor and Spring Break, it was 45 cents. For Dino Might, would it be $1.25 or $2.50 per spin? Thought I'd better ask first, cause $2.50 per spin might be a bit steep for me unless I build up a bit of a bankroll. I've seen me lose a couple hundred on that game at $1.25 a spin if it's not hitting. Thanks in advance.

Sidenote - Started off with a roar on Thor the other night, then he must have put the sheep to bed for the night. 600 spins with no bonus!! :confused:

So for now, your hit is safe, although I may try him again later tonight.
 
Well, I just screwed myself up royally with Roxy. I forgot I hadn't changed my address with them when I moved in October. So I registered my Mastercard and made a purchase, and of course not five minutes later I get a message from support re: address mismatch. So now my account has been temporarily suspended, and they want everything but a DNA sample from me. I don't have a scanner, but will have to get my recent phone bill scanned and sent, along with everything else. Thing is with the prepaid mastercards, you only get a temp card at first, doesn't have your name on it. It just says Preferred Customer, and your signature on back. So I have emailed them and told them that as soon as I get the permanent card in the regular mail I will scan it and send them a copy. I am such an idiot, this could all have been avoided if I had just scanned my phone/internet bill and sent a simple email to support updating my address. Really stupid thing is that I DID change my address with Roxy Affiliates. I sure do miss Garth, he always helped me out with stuff like this, and with any of my player's accounts. Maybe I will email Nicole and see if she can assist me. The only thing that worries me is they say all this stuff has to be sent within seven days, not sure if the permanent card will come by then? So, a lesson to everyone.....if you move, make sure you update your physical address with any casinos you play at. :o

Hopefully I can get this sorted Simmo, and still partake in the tourney, Roxy is one of my favourites.

Garth's not there anymore? Bummer, that's news to me. I just saw him in Vegas in Sept (I think - Vegas is a blurr sometimes).

If you still have a problem, I might be able to help expedite something, but if they need docs, then they need docs.
 
Thanks Bryan, I'll let ya know how it goes. And yeah, they definitely want the documents, but again my screw up. Simply a security measure.

Yeah, Garth left like beginning of November I think. Very secretive, but he told me he was starting up a new venture with a partner. Internet related, but not gaming. I think he still posts at CAP on occasion. And yes, it's a bummer. He is probably the best aff manager I ever dealt with, real down to earth, and willing to do the bit extra for each individual. Nicole is very nice also, we've had some long winded late night chats....wasn't she in Vegas as well? Nice looking blond? LOL....

As for the minimum bet, any slot above 9 lines, minimum bet is 0.75c :) As for my Tstruck hit, Schnozzy has just pipped me to the no. 1 slot. But i'll be back :thumbsup:

Hey Simmo and Pinababy, have you heard the latest news? One of the reels on Thunderstruck has a bad bearing that needs to be replaced. It will be out of service for the rest of the month. Better try some of the other slots until they get that fixed. Good Luck!

I like you too Tim!! Matter of fact, you're one of my favourite posters here. I really admire your honesty, and the way you have "bared your soul" in a couple of posts. Takes guts to allow people that close a look at yourself (I think you know what I mean, lol).

Now, as to Thor, sorry...no can do. If I went more than a week without a sheep fix, well I just don't know what would happen!!! Geez, I just reread that, it doesn't sound good at all. I've already scheduled my date with the Sheepfarmer for next week, and he has promised to be very, very nice to me. ;)

Thanks for your compliments! Right back at ya with the same. Now as far as Thor goes...... I hate to tell anyone NOT to play at 32Red, but in your case ( and Simmo's ), maybe you guys can focus on the other slots at 32Red. I hear they have some very nice other ones too.

They've all been contacted V. The problem was that this month, a lot of staff didnt return from the break until this Monday just gone so the "2 week" max. turnaround i was hoping for lost a week cos of Xmas.

Sorry...I'll have a word with him upstairs for next year but not much i can do about Xmas past :D
