Jack and the Beanstalk and other childish games to be removed?

Yep - can't have all those 5 year olds maxing out their credit cards, spunking their salary in a day and not paying their direct debits and finding away to get round the whole 18 plus thing online.

Home next week to see my 7 year old Nephew - he'll probably start in a rant about how hard those harps are to get in JATB.

If they want to stop kids getting hooked on slots, ban social casinos....

it's just the start

there's going to be a HUGE bust of online casinos coming the next weeks, i'm quite sure.

and some are so deserving of it.

maybe i get some of my deposits back?:D

Why? For having to endure cartoon-based slots?

Ontopic: Would hate to see JATB go,never won huge on it but game always gives me loads of playtime and an occasional nice win in FS.

I think that if they had to remove all references to JATB then they will simply change its skin and call it something like Paris Hilton and the Bean Flicker.

horray for pornhub casino,

hopefully more uk pornhub casino white labels erect up and take the industry hard , maybe net ent might pull out of the uk?

(there im done)

The whole idea makes no sense. Kids don’t want to gamble, don’t even care about money. Teenagers may want to gamble but know that they can’t and don’t care about cartoon characters anyway!

The whole “protect the under aged” begins and ends at the casinos not letting them play. Nothing more is needed. Do they really believe that it is possible for a person to become 18 without ever having seen a slot? What are they going to do, lock all kids in a dark hole until they become 21 (to be safe :p)?

Instead of focusing in slot fairness, high RTP, fast payouts, fast KYC, clear terms and effective SE, they ban words and colors!

I don't necessarily blame the UKGC. I'd say it's more a case of them being put under pressure by the newspapers, who are talking out of their arses as usual

What's worse at 'possibly' starting kids off gambling?

A thumbnail of the 'Jack and the Beanstalk' slot on the landing page of a casino, that a child might stumble across?

Or this which can be seen on anyone's Facebook news feed at any time, regardless of age?
