Ivegas.com free $25,have problem,be careful!!

Hi, Joel (hope you won't mind I call your name)

I tried your casino this afternoon. Had a good time. I usually play blackjack and slot (I can ONLY play this two anyway...). BJ looks very fair.

I use my firepay account instead of Neteller. I don't think I will ever use my credit card or bank card any more except gorcery shopping.

However, I NEVER dispute anything with any cards before. It's the very first time. In fact, my bank recommand it, just to protect myself. I even "close" my account and reopen new one.

Wish me luck to win some money. If not, it's fine to me. At least, I "KNOW" who win my money. HAHAH!

Have a nice evening to you all!

Okay, I'm back. No more beach and Turkish food (for now).

Welcome to the forum bewitch and nnhhww! Now back to the main issue:

nnhhww -- has your situation been resolved yet? Please let us know what the status is of your complaint; I want no loose ends here. Thank you.

glodge, i think you are doing a magnificent job. i checked out your site earlier this week and i was just looking through the few posts here. i think it is terrific that you take resposibility and lots of care for your customers. it is so refreshing to see an online casino manager so involved, passionate and concerned for his players. May it be sites like yours that make it to the top.

BTW - just to add my 2 cents to the faxing information discussion, i had to do it on several occasions and truth be told, it is the least an honest player could do to live up to his gambling. In any land based casino, when you withdraw cash from a machine and throw it away at a table or a slot - say bye bye. Land based casinos don't give half the comps and bonuses that the online casinos do. A legit online operation deserves a minimal amount of authentic customers. The question is, which casinos are of the sincere type. and i must say glodge, you are setting a new trend in the industry if you keep it up.

I wish you tons of success. I think i will drop by your casino soon just do me a favour...don't quote me on the forms thing when the time comes.;)

Hi Everyone,

I'm iVanna, the iVegas.com Casino Hostess. Joel, the manager of VegasHeatCasino.com, was kind enough to contact us about the problems NNHHWW originally posted here. I thought I would pop-in to help explain a few things that have been discussed.

BTW - Thanks for the help Joel bringing this thread to our attention we appreciate the opportunity to explain things.

This customer has been in contact with our support staff on a couple of occasions, currently our CSR's are waiting on a response to their last email. Since first learning about this I've done an investigation into this matter personally. What we found is a solid indication that there are several accounts registered to this user or mulitple users sharing similar information. Each account received a bonus and has entered credit card information. We have a strict policy at iVegas where only 1 account is permitted per person and if our security department suspects a user has more, payment can be witheld where bonus abuse is suspected until further investigation. We're making every effort to avoid fraudulent account activity and to protect our players and ourselves. All information is kept completely confidential, of course.

At iVegas our customers support, accounting and management team make every effort to stay in close contact with all our customers and we work diligently to resolve any and all matters as quickly as possible.

I hope this helps, if anyone has any other questions please don't hesitate to contact me personally at hostess@ivegas.com.

All the best,

iVanna

iVanna, it's very nice to see your post here.

Good job, Joel. You are a very good casino manager. Not only offer a good casino and also help others as well.

I am sorry to hear NNHHWW is abusing the bonus. However, he did post this issue in other forum. You probably need to check some of them and let people know the real story. It looks like he disappear now.

Good luck to you all.

Time and effort wasted on people like this is a shame. I know Joel was trying hard to help this guy too.

They have grasped my all credit card information, which day I am very anxious and is usurped!

:(

Let me make sure I got this straight. NNHHWW, you sent them, at their request, a copy of the following: your credit card, back and front, your credit card statements, your ID card and your TAX FORMS? These people know more about you now, than the government does!!!! I have never heard of sending in your tax forms, that is total BS. Next time if they ask for anything, send them a "urine sample" in a ziplock bag.

Hostess Ivanna, you have overstepped your boundries on this one. There is so much information on tax forms, including your social security number, your spouses, as well as your childrens (if you claim a child here in the US, you must put down their SSN). This request was above and beyond anything I have ever heard of.
Shame on you and your casino!!!!!

I don't believe they requested his tax forms; they may want to clarify this. From what I can tell is that this player was requested to send in the routine documentation.

Ivanna, could you possibly clue us in??

Hi again everyone,

iVanna here, I see another interesting question or two has popped up. I'm here to clarify our position.

We absolutely NEVER request a users tax forms for identification purposes. We only ever request standard items to prove the user is the owner of the credit card in question and verify their name, signature and mailing address. This usually consists of the following 3 things:

1. a clear photocopy of the front and back of the credit card(s) - signed;
2. a clear photocopy of the last credit card statement indicating their name, address, statement date and credit card number (if unavailable we will accept a utility bill) and;
3. a clear photocopy of the users driver's license, front and back, or other photo ID.

I hope this helps. Thanks for your questions and the opportunity to post.

All the best,

iVanna

Okay, who is telling the truth here???

nnhhww, do you (or someone in your families) open more than 1 account? Did they really ask you to fax the tax document? If your answer is NO (1st one) and Yes (2nd). I will be on your side.

I play at Iveags and took the $25 ND bonus before, then deposit/withdraw with my firepay account. No problem at all. ( The amount is small, however.)

I just played there and make $40 extra yesterday. I got my deposit back immediately (back to my firepay account in 2 seconds) and asking the extra withdraw with Neteller. We will see how it go here.

I chat with the live help 2 times to ask removing my bonus before I played. The 1st CS wasn't doing a good job, but the 2nd one take care of my request right away. So far, I am pretty happy with their service. The chat even let you save the conservation log and you should do it after you chat with them.

Hope things will clear out soon here.

Ivanna, I was thinking of trying your casino.. but all that photocopying just to make a deposit discourages me from doing so

1. a clear photocopy of the front and back of the credit card(s) - signed;
2. a clear photocopy of the last credit card statement indicating their name, address, statement date and credit card number (if unavailable we will accept a utility bill) and;
3. a clear photocopy of the users driver's license, front and back, or other photo ID.

What the heck is it with number 2 above? #1-Credit card and #2-picture ID should be proof enough, I would not deposit with a casino who requires that.

I played at ivegas, I won't no longer!!!

Hi gang,

Jinnia and Gramsey have made a couple points that I would like to respond to.

Firstly, we ask for the credit card statement to prove the credit card belongs to that person. This way we can compare the address on the statement with the address and name on the DL photo ID. How else can we prove the credit card belongs to the user? The credit card only has a name and the Photo ID must be compared with something other than it.

I believe this to be a common practice and it is not the first time I've heard of this procedure.

At iVegas this information is only requested when a player wishes to purchase a large sum of money or in cases like this where multiple accounts appear to have been opened.

Hope this helps, if you can suggest a better practice for confirming the card holder information please share we want to provide the best service possible.

Thanks,

iVanna

Hi iVanna & all,

I simply would like to add; please I'm not taking any sides here, that having to send documentation is not always requested.

Without wanting to offend anyone, these documents are requested to protect any transactions that the casino e-processor may feel is a risk.

Let me put it this way, you have a car for sale, you place an ad in the local paper, someone wants to buy it, and they offer you a personal check. Do you accept a personal check?

Would you ask for some ID?

Would you refuse to take a check & insist on either a bank draft or cash?

This is basically the same situation here. We simply don't have the security of a Land based casino. However we do have other methods of security, one of these is IP addys.

Is it not just as important for the casino to make sure that it will get paid?

If a player opens numerous accounts, all from the same IP addy, when it clearly states in the casino rules, that no more than one account can be opened. Then this player attempts to gain a bonus from each of these accounts, then attempts to withdraw cash from a win, on one of these 12 accounts.

Obviously any casino is going to flag this type of activity & player.
In reality I doubt that many would even bother asking for proof, they'd just lock all 12 accounts.

It's also my understanding that this player has not deposited ( opened a total of 12 accounts with a free $25 in each one )

NB to gain the $25 no deposit, one must provide either a CC or Firepay account.

However iVegas is still prepared to offer this player the advantage of doubt.

In my understanding, they are saying; ivegas, that nnhhww must provide proof of ID on the 12 separate accounts at iVegas, ( obviously all ID would have to match each seperate account & be legit ) if this is done, they will be happy to pay nnhhww the $50 withdraw.

PS Yes I should be resting, but I lived on bits of sleep here and there for the past 3 years, that my body clock is all haywire.

iVegas and Vegasheat casino never ask my ID documents. I think it's because I use firepay, not regular credit card.

However, there are some casino did ask me to fax them the cpoy of credit card, utility bill and Driver licence. I didn't feel too comfortable at first, but I fax it as they request since there is nothing to hide anyway. And I always check my credit statement every week on internet to make sure there is no false charge.

I won't be surprise casino asking this these days. There are too many chargeback and stolen credit card these days.

The whole issue should be "multiple accounts" here. nnhhww, do you open more than 1 account and ask more than 1 bonus?

People make mistakes. I open 2 accounts by accident at one casino before. But I didn't get into trouble since I don't take signup bonus. I simple just forgot about I open the 1st one 2 month ago and didn't play, then open another one later again.

It's really depends how you feel. If you monitor your credit card very carefully, it sholdn't be a problem. It's just my 2 cents.

bewitch,

Good point.

Players personal identifaction security & that of the banking funding option they use, IMHO comes back to only patronising trusted establishments.

Casino's that are legit & hold onto values of integrity, have way to much to lose, to even consider doing any type of dodgy activity.

However rogue casino's don't give a toss, take a look here ( https://www.casinomeister.com/rogue-casinos/ ) I think we as gamblers, have all seen and recognize the MO's of these venues. I also think we know when it's just to good to be true.

Take it easy

Joel

Question: If casinos can tell when a person is opening more than 1 account by the IP address, why not just shut the account then and there. While I realize this player did not make any deposits, what if he/she had? Would the casino continue to take the deposits, knowing full well that this player is "BUSTED"? I am not just questioning ivegas...but every "supposedly" legit casino?

Good points. Linda.
When I open 2 accounts at 7sultans by accident. They didn't inform me until 1 month later even I use same email addess. They just send me a email to ask me which one to keep? I told them I don't care.

Guess what? They didn't delete my account and sent me another email 1 month later again. Maybe too much cutomers? Who konws? Like I said, I didn't get into trouble since I didn't double dip the bonus.

Have a Great Sunday!

:::How else can we prove the credit card belongs to the user? The credit card only has a name and the Photo ID must be compared with something other than it:::

ivanna,

maybe with the name that appears on the credit and picture ID along with the signatures on both? Seems to work well with the majority of online casino's.

::::Let me put it this way, you have a car for sale, you place an ad in the local paper, someone wants to buy it, and they offer you a personal check. Do you accept a personal check?

glodge,

I would accept a check and ask for picture ID ONLY. That's enough information and it is enough along with credit card used for online casino's! Anymore than that, is just not acceptable, in my opinion.

Hi every one.

It seems that they have lain again!
"wilson: I am sorry, but the number of cashout requests has caused a large delay in our regular process."
"wilson: As I said before, due to the high volume (number) of cashout requests. We cannot process all our customers' request to cashout within the given time frame."

but someone in here post, the Ivegas pay in time.

These days, according to their request, have done following things

1. a clear photocopy of the front and back of your credit card(s) - signed;

I have scaned and sent

2. a clear photocopy of your last credit card statement indicating my name, address, statement date and credit card number and;

I have scaned and sent

3. a clear photocopy of your driver's license, front and back, or other photo ID. In addition to this, please send us a separate utility bill (such as your phone bill or electricity bill) registered to your name and address.

I have scaned my ID card and sent

I have scaned my Tax forms and snet(please don't worry!this is the Housing and Land Tax Closes Forms in our country,it shows my name, address, telephonse number.by the way,I am no living in USA)

after they have received, they let me wait!Up to now,no payment! :(

About some questions, I want to clarify !
I have only one account.and my IP address is Often change.
Give an example.
first time Connect to internet, the IP is 218.193.56.12
second time connect to internet, the IP is 218.193.50.239
thrid time connect to internet, the IP is 218.193.57.144
..............
I don't know what influence there is to IVEGAS ? My ISP can be proved for me.

What I worried about most is now, my credit card is usurped!
can someone know,if a people Grasp all my information. Can he/she use my credit card?

Who has such experience or the lesson? my God,I must inform my bank , stop the online trade temporarily !

Only $50,I do not cherish . But for the player's interests, I must finally dispute ! If they do not want to pay , must be there emerged a reason that can believe !

jinnia,

" I would accept a check and ask for picture ID ONLY. That's enough information and it is enough along with credit card used for online casino's! Anymore than that, is just not acceptable, in my opinion. "

Hypothetically lets say the check bounced & you discovered that the photo ID was fake, would you accept this type of payment again; keeping in mind you've just lost a car?

IP's are just one small part of other security measures used.

However it would be impossible to physically monitor & perform a real time veto of each IP that accessed as a new signup or as a playing member.

I know myself I have accidentally signed up twice to a casino, thinking that I did not have an account. Accidents happen and IMHO a good casino would take this into consideration, if one has done this.

Hi all,

As a cyber enterprise, it is my belief that a casino has a right to protect its business, just as it's anyone's right to protect their property.

On reflection I may have opened a pandora's box here. Though it was & always will be my intention to provide honest information, and to tell it like it is.

In closing I feel the facts pertaining to the original post by nnhhww have been over looked, so I would like to reiterate them below:

nnhhww made claim that iVegas would not pay out a $50 win, though forgot to mention 12 separate accounts held by this person at iVegas. Each account the FREE $25 no deposit had been claimed.

nnhhww also stated that iVegas asked for the supply of tax forms, however this is also not true.

Sincere Regards

Joel
